I went to this location 2 days ago for my daughters school fundraiser. Had the worse experience. 1) not enough staff 2) took almost 2 hours to get our food. Not only that, but we got it 10min before they closed. 3) got the salad bar, but it was basically empty (take a look at the pictures) when I asked them to refill it. She laughed and told me yeah when we GET a chance. 4) all the kids were excited to see the rat, and it never came out to greet them. ONCE AGAIN ITS A SCHOOL FUNDRAISER!!!!!! I would have complained to the manager if I didn't see her not care and disregard other people that were complaining. It's extremely upsetting that they weren't prepared for the event. Cc needs to change its games and menu. I know they are known for pizza - but let's have more than high fructose syrup on the menu. I know it's a choice - and they added a salad bar, but as a giant corporate entity think of the kids. Be the leader in health and fun. How great does that sound. For a Kids, well there is no better place to go and eat pizza and play games for a couple of hours for around $30.00. (Using their coupons in almost every Sunday paper). They have recently upgraded most of the games and it doesn't seem as loud as it use to be? As for the staff at the register - they have on several occasions been very accommodating and helpful. For decades we were fun of this place, but recently we visited this location nothing is the same. The employees are not helpful at all and I don't see any passion in them to work with kids. They just want to get their job done and that's all. The employees are sitting in a table by the bathroom and chit chatting and my mom ask them for help they told her that they were in there break. The salad bar was disgusting and not fresh. The lettuce was brown and cucumber was wrinkled. We like the pasta salad and it was ok but we found bacon in it we ask the guy he just said oh because there are right next to each other and he didn't get up from his break table to fix the circumstances. We were sitting still half hour to closing that a nice sweet girl pulls the vacuum and starts vacuuming. There are infants kids pregnant lady and senior citizens around. My family and i have been going to this Chuck e Cheese's for years. We have done birthday parties in this locations and never had one single problem. My son and i also come on our free time and never had any complaints! But Last night i had a party for my 3 year old. It was absolutely horrible! I left the night in such disappointment. Let's start this off by saying that my party Coordinator Tashia was AMAZING! She was super friendly, and got our orders done fast! She was the only person who made my little boys night go a little better. (Besides the games of course)! But this is where it all starts, when i first booked my appointment i made sure i put all my guest so i can have the correct amount of tables. (When he turned one i booked for 150+ people and it went perfect) this time around i booked for 45 adults, 5 children. I arrived 10 minutes before my party only to find i had one table with one cloth on. (One table fits almost 20/24 people) i didn't think it would be a problem to get the table next to me, which was empty! When Tashia came back she told me the manager had told her if we added this table it would be an extra charge because i only booked for one table. We approached one of the manager who is named Mario. He told us i quote "the company loses business if we don't charge you the extra 8$ for the table it's just their new policy" Well Mario, it's not about the 8$. It's about the fact i booked for specific amount of people and you're making them jam into one table. What's the point of putting the amount of people i want when all they care about is the amount of children (because that's where they make money) i could've easily bought a table roll that may cost me cents! Mostly when I'm not spending just 20/40$ that night. And I'm sure we weren't the only people who complained because the party next to us had one table and they had many guest sit in a booth closer to us. I guess since Mario got upset that we wanted to make a complain he never once came to check on our party. He would come and check on the other two but NEVER us. And to top it off, when Chuck E came out to perform for my son he payed ZERO attention to him. He was either nervous or he had no idea what he was doing. We ended up telling him in the middle of the song that the birthday boy was here and not anywhere else. Let it be aware that we have been coming here for 20+ years. And this has never happened to us. My only qualms about this place are how they treat the kids when the mascot comes out... At least find a way to distribute the tickets respectfully.. They're not dogs.. Always a good place for my boys to play. Yet some machines are broken but you can always call them and refund the coin back. Pizza is surprisingly good, chicken wings is ok, smaller sizes than usual places. Salad bar is decent. Ice cream vending machine not good yet luckily they decided to offer dippin dots. Ofcourse, the food prices are high but try to subscribe on their email list to receive a coupon for some combo deals. The bathroom needs more attention and overall cleanliness. There are two locations near me and this one is much better than the Northridge location on Reseda. With that being said, it is a zoo on the weekends and when they have any sort of event. The staff here seems to turnover constantly and while serviceable, they aren't spectacular. The pizza here is meh, the wings and stuff are your typical frozen fare. The salad bar, however, is decent. The veggies are fresh and the variety is good. We come here several times a month with our 4 year daughter. We try to come on weeknights when it's empty so she can have the run of the place. We don't bother during peak hours because you can't find a table and you're waiting forever for rides and games. read more

We just celebrated our son's birthday at this location and had such a great experience. This branch is by far one of the larger, cleaner sites. We hope it stays this way... some major positives was how attentive the staff here are. The guy stamping guests in, to the manager, Bashar who greeted us, ready to go. Our tables were neatly laid out with plenty of extra everything: plates, utensils, cups... none of our guests were lacking in anything. We loved how organized and timely the services were and they really kept our party moving through the meal and into the cake. It was so effortless for us, all we had to do was show up... The overpriced Pizza, salad, beer etc. used to be worth it. That was back when they had a large play area with tubes and slides to keep the kids entertained. The adults could relax and talk and when the kids got tired you'd pay for a couple rides or games, the kids would recharge, then back to the play area. But the play area was free, and like most good things it didn't last. Now you have to have a kid and a card chained to your hip to make sure they are constantly purchasing 20 second games and rides that barely keep them entertained. That leaves no time to make a salad, or eat pizza and socialize with the other adults. And why even bother with a beer? I think this company forgot why people went there. They lost a family of customers permanently, and I don't think they'll be around much longer. Hopefully somebody else remembers what this company forgot and gives us a better place to entertain our kids and spend our money. read more

Long story short I took my daughter here for the first time tonight and encountered the WORST customer service at the prize claiming station from AMANDA. You would think since this is Woodland Hills that this Chuck E Cheese would be less ghetto but no. In fact, it actually might be worse than all other Chuck E Cheese's I've been to. Or maybe today's experience was just the worst ever. Food was okay. We ordered a medium pizza and buffalo wings. The ranch that came with the buffalo wings was CHUNKY. Thats right, chunky. Don't know if this means it was previously frozen or actually old/expired and therefore became curdled or something. Oh I forgot to mention that when the guy brought out our pizza and wings, I noticed he didn't even bring plates so I go "oh can we have some paper plates?" And his reaction was like "you want plates????" Like I was crazy for requesting something to put my pizza on besides a napkin. Then, you got families who are cheating the skiball game. They put a glass window in front of the holes so that it prevents kids from running up the ramp to put the balls into higher scoring holes... But guess what I witnessed?? A family literally working as a team to put their little brother/cousin whoever go INSIDE of the glass window. Yes, INSIDE. I didn't wanna be the bearer of bad news to CEC staff and in fact when I was younger I remember there were at least 1-2 CEC staff roaming the gaming floor to assist anyone with token issues, regulate safety, etc. but there was no one. I'm pretty sure this family racked up more than 200 tickets by doing what they were doing to every single skiball slot. Lastly, some kid puked on the carpet. And whoevers kid did that, didn't have the nerve or consideration to tell CEC staff so that innocent kids who walk around barefoot don't accidentally step into it. GROSS. I and several others alerted the CEC staff and it took them literally more than 10 minutes to clean it up and to be honest, who knows how long that puke has been there before I actually noticed it and did something about it. CEC isn't what it used to be. You get 1-4 tickets per game and you'll be lucky enough to land 100 by the end of your $20. Disney needs to buy out Chuck E Cheese and make it into something 100x better, cleaner, safer, better staffed.... Just better. Smells like a locker room, way over crowded and half of the games are broken!!!

My family and I had a very unpleasant experience here today. First of all as soon as you open the door the smell of sweat and dirt hits you straight in the face, considering that this is a facility for children it feels like there is no hygiene measures taken at all. That was a huge disappointment and at that second I already thought to turn around and leave, but my son got super excited and ran up to the entrance where it was blocked off. The hostess came by and without any words, greetings, or even gestures, she grabbed my hand and stamped it. Then she GRABBED my two-year-old's hand and stamped it. By doing that without any warning or any words she had really frightened my child. He had shock on his face, and then to add to it the person dressed in the Chuck E. Cheese suit came by right next to the entrance and my son saw him and started to cry even louder at that point because he got frightened even more. While my husband and I were trying to calm down my son, the "amazing" and "welcoming" hostess started telling us to get inside, not even taking a second to understand that the child is scared, screaming, and crying. I had told her that he is scared to come in and she ignored that completely and looked extremely annoyed. We had walked out of the facility and it took around an hour for my child to calm down because he was very frightened. We tried to drive around and we decided to give it another try but at a different Chuck E. Cheese. But as soon as my son had saw the Chuck E. Cheese sign he began to get nervous and and he did not want to go in. I had called the supervisor and I had explained what had happened and she had promised that she would talk and try to figure this out. She was extremely nice over the phone and she had offered to get some kind of a free pass and for us to come by and get it but we were already home and there was no way that I was going to leave my son or have my husband leave my son and go get a free pass to a place where my son is terrified to go to! I really hope that no child will have to go through this kind of experience! This was supposed to be a fun and positive experience for him which turned into a terrible one!!! What comes to mind when someone says Chuck E Cheese's? Yeap, that's right-- CHAOS, lol. This is particularly true on weekends. I tend to like this Chuck E Cheese's; this is the one we visit most often. Yes, chaos is to be expected, but filthiness? Not so much. The tables to my left & to my right have had pizza trays, plates & cups sitting on them for over 30 min now & it doesn't seem like anyone is going to clean them up anytime soon. Gross. Kinda glad we ate before we came. Truth be told, only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because the guy at the front let me walk in with my coffee. I have mixed reviews about this place. Twice I've been here and the ticket machine miscounts tickets. My son kept feeding it and didn't notice. They need to check their machine routinely. There happened to be a bush fire at the side of the building and the team didn't seem to urgent when a lady came into tell them. The security officer came in but still lack of urgency. The staff is decent. Some better then others. There are some that have a lot of energy and some that look like they hated life. The food is decent. I had to tell them once that the wings looked like little toes because it was so small. They replaced it but it should have been caught. Our birthday planner was really energized. This a little smaller than other locations however I like it better bc there's ample parking place and staff were friendly and helpful, especially Amanda. They gave me tip to use coupons from online site. I came in on Saturday morning at 10 am for a casual last minute party for son. We ordered 2 large 1 topping, 4 adult drinks, 100 tokens for $49.99, 3 other pizzas (meat combo - very good, BBQ chicken, super combo), sandwich platter - very good (19.99) with fries (3 flavors- italien, chicken, Cesar), and veggie tray (15.99). Totally about $150. Bummer part was I had to buy individual drinks (9 kids, 5 adults) about another $25. Too bad they don't offer pitchers of soda. Still not bad for our group, if you decide to do party package it's a bit higher but you get hostess and don't have to set up. I opted for this instead of packages ($13 and up per child depends on package and you still have to buy more food for adult guests) because get more value for money. I also used coupon for 100 tokens for $20 x 2. My son also doesn't like the singing and cheering that comes with package...he would cry. I brought my own bottle water and cupcakes, plates, napkins, table cloth and utensils to match my theme but they offer them there too in chuck e cheese theme. I asked Amanda to bring the food out around 11 am instead of the usually 10-15 minutes since we were so early. It was also such a better atmosphere if you come early 10 to 12pm. Then started yelling at us to leave as it was 30 MINS after closing and KIDS were still choosing their prizes. Then proceeded to ask us if we're gonna help them clean. Excuse me???? Do you not get paid to do YOUR job? As if it was OUR fault they were extremely under staffed and didn't have half the ticket machines working.
