In front: Double bison burger w/bacon, cheddar, & a hash brown + seasoned curlies. In back: Hickory Bbq bison burger w/crinkles

Our first choice was closed due to a broken pipe but I'm glade cause we found this gem!! Smelled deliciousness as soon as you open the doors!! Super nice and efficient staff! The food was so good!! Bonus there is a model train running on tracks above the entire dining area completely with little Wild West houses, stores and trees. All the tables and walls have local art! I got a double bison burger wit bacon, cheddar, and a hash brown on itand a side of some of the best seasoned curly fry's ever! My counterpart had the Hickory Bbq also with a bison patty and crinkle fries

I have to stop here anytime I'm heading north and passing through Mt Vernon. Great burgers and fries!

Horrid. Dingy and corny atmosphere with mediocre food that costs too much. The buffalo burger was gross.

Frozen fries? How tragic, especially for a burger joint that professes to be one of the best

Old school ice cream parlor. They make it all, sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes and ice cream…read moresodas. They also have hamburgers and hot dogs. Really nice service by young staff.

The name of this…read moreplace excited him so much that he decided to surprise me by not telling me where we were going. He could not be more hype about an average diner called 'Big Scoop'. The area has some parking spots, but when we arrived, all the parking spaces and all the tables were taken. They were quite busy for a Wednesday evening. When we arrived, we had no idea what to do. Do we sit ourselves? Do we wait to be seated? Do we place an order at the counter and then sit? There was no signage and no greeting to inform us. So we stood there, feeling silly and out of place, for a good few minutes, before one adult staff member approached the counter to punch an order into a computer and literally said to us, 'I don't have time to talk to customers right now, sorry.' Ooooookay we'll just keep standing here. Eventually, our waitress/savior Kate greeted us, sat us at a table, and gave us menus. She was younger, upbeat, kind, and apologetic for the confusion. We looked over the menu, and a third staff member came by to take our order. I ordered the Big Scoop cheeseburger basket with fries & my husband ordered the hot ham & cheese with fries. The hot ham & cheese was your average grilled cheese with a protein. Nothing special. The burger was good, but nothing special there either. You'll notice that the other half of the menu is all. ice. cream. Just options and options of different ways to order your ice cream; the flavors are listed on the wall, not on the menu. They are happy to make any changes or customizations to your ice cream order. IMO the menu was overwhelming with no easy way to sort or compare options, so it needs an overhaul in the way it's presented. We ended up getting the #13, Sweet Superstitions, with the flavors Moose Tracks & chocolate peanut butter ice cream scoops. Again, nothing special here; the two cherries promised in the menu was just one cherry cut in half, and the peanuts were stale. The fudge wasn't hot either. For a place called Big Scoop, we got pretty small scoops of ice cream. When we checked out at the counter, Kate helped us out again. She was very encouraging and was so excited to have us in town for the tulip festival. I hope Kate gets a raise or goes far in life! Overall, a fun memory but an underwhelming experience in terms of service and flavor.

This might just be my favorite grocery store in existence…read more Everything I could ever need is in between this four wall, two story building. This co-op in Skagit is filled with healthy alternatives, fresh produce, and even a juice/coffee/snack bar serving up some delicious bites. I found a number of local products and beers to buy from the grocery side, and a mushroom sandwich. I cannot properly describe the deliciousness of this sandwich - you just had to be there. I also loved that the co-op's second story is filled with the most unique home and gift items you'll find. Everything is sustainable first, and they even have a decent book selection. Couldn't imagine a better place to spend my Saturday, just wish I lived closer so I could visit every weekend.

It's a neat grocery store with fresh build-your-own sandwich options, bakery treats, gifts and trinkets, wines, and a lot more. We ordered sandwiches from the kiosk where it prints a ticket to bring to the counter. You can purchase other items with your sandwich, too. We had ordered two pineapple conchas from the dessert case for a post-lunch dessert. The veggies on the sandwich were so fresh it hit the spot for a light midafternoon meal. There is an upstairs seating area, it's really quiet and private. After we ate our lunch, we looked at some trinkets in the gift shop that's upstairs too. It truly has it all!

Thought it would be in the strip mall and there were really know indicators of this place from the outside but my child said that he thought he saw I sign that said crepes. To be honest, I never saw the sign but we walked into a gas station subway, and sure enough, a counter with crepes. It was as if there was one huge half circle counter and it was split down the middle where half was gas station and half was crepes. It sits inside the side where subway is. Don't come here for the ambiance. I still don't know if those seats were meant just for subway. I mean, it's what you would expect for a gas station. Please don't mistake this for a cozy restaurant store front that you might expect hearing the word crepes. We didn't manage our expectations well however, can't be mad at it. The crepes were good. Paper plates or no, it was yummy. They had cups of stuff too. It was so good. I'm almost mad it was good. I wanted to be mad being in a gas station after expecting some fancy creperie lol idk what I was thinking. The people that worked there were friendly and conversational. Absolutely try but gauge your expectations at the door. It's a surprising delight.
