a bowl of ramen with chopsticks

So happy to find a new place to eat something exciting at the Airport. A nice selection, (even though it wasn't a large selection) of appetizers, Ramen Bowls and Rice Bowls and hand Rolls. My biggest disappointment was they have a large sign listing Dumplings and Gimbap and Domburo but they had none of that available. The service was very good with everyone stopping by to help, and make suggestion. I ordered the cucumber and Avocado Hand Roll - it was all fresh and delicious and had a very nice amount of filling. My Miso Ramen was hot and the broth was very tasty, the noodles were cooked perfectly. I was disappointed because I felt for the price there could have been more Vegetables in there. Airports are expensive, and I was happy enough to be enjoying a tasty

Also confused by the bad reviews... so easy and convenient. Full cocktail menu and decent selection of sake too, some rarer ones like Snow Angel! Sesame garlic ramen was solid - piping hot, which is always a requirement for decent ramen. Main disappointment is that they give you plastic utensils and no proper soup spoon. I ended up just drinking the broth from the bowl like a cereal bowl, not the biggest deal I guess. Service was decent, they seem busy and focused, professional. No complaints. Hooks underneath by the bar. Definitely coming again

I'm going to echo another reviewers comments here - this is good for an airport. Prices are on par for an airport too. I had a two hour wait for my flight and I was starving. I walked past your standard grills and sandwicheries until I found this. Ramen is only my favorite type of carb so this was a no brainer. I did hesitate momentarily, fearing this would be my gas station sushi moment, but I saw the open kitchen looking at me all legit. So I thought, what the hell. If nothing else, I'd be wiser and hopefully not bitter. You scan the QR code on the tables for the menu and to place the order, one of the many lifestyle upgrades to come out of the pandemic. I did just that. Immediately, you notice that the ramen bowl for a base soup, noodles and some veggies like cabbage is $16. Every other add on is $2 and so by the time I was done, my bill was $25 minus tip. The overall portion size is half the ramen bowl and while the broth was tasty, the noodles were overcooked. If this were outside an airport, nestled between the barber shop and a pet grooming salon in the east village, this would be no more than 2 or 3 stars. However, I'm willing to give it a 4 because I'm just happy to have something other than the standard greasy airport food offerings. I also see this place getting busy during the colder months. So come here with super low expectations and you might just be pleasantly surprised.

This is the new Chuko Ramen located inside the newly renovated LGA airport of delta airlines (Terminal C). First the new terminal is immaculate, bright and very nicely renovated. Definitely was excited to see this! The new terminal offers more sit down food options, such as Bubbys, an italian spot, burger spot, and this Chuko ramen. I opted for a ramen bowl as it is a light option than the others. The wait staff and service was very good, I opted to sit at the bar as I was a solo traveler. The wait staff explained that I had to order and pay online and the food arrives after. Ordered the kimchi ramen and a kale salad. The ramen arrived first and then the kale salad, which I thought was the opposite. So, the ramen does not come with anything. For the price of $16 you only get the ramen and soup and shaved cabbage. Which I only realized after. Toppings are all extra charge. I don't know about you but $16 for just a bowl of ramen noodles are slightly overpriced. No matter how good the ramen is. While the ramen did have a nice firm texture, it was not how I envisioned my order. I then received my kale salad after the ramen. The kale salad was slightly better. It was however heavily drowned in a vinaigrette dressing, very strong and also unexpecting. Overall I wish I can give this a better rating. However this is just another overpriced airport food charging an arm and a leg for all its dishes, without having to pair up with quality.

[Chuko Ramen] Ramen restaurant in the LaGuardia Airport Terminal C I got the sesame garlic ramen. Pretty mid nothing too special. The QR ordering was pretty easy. They bring it out. Simple. No other notes. It's what you expect of airport ramen. 2/10. Not bad just 5 is average of all restaurants ever and it's just sub-par. http://chukobk.com LaGuardia Airport

I had the shoyu ramen and added enoki mushrooms and spicy pork. Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had at an airport. Paired this with an old fashioned and I was in heaven!

I loved their ordering system because all you do is sit down, scan the QR code, and order directly on your phone. The waiter knows where youre sitting based on the QR code you scanned. super modern service system I got the Uni Hand Roll and Spicy Salmon Hand Roll. I liked the Spicy salmon more, but overall, their rolls were nasty. Seaweed was too rubbery and chewy, as if the seaweed got stale from laying around. Fish was alright, but not the greatest. Their wasabi and ginger seemed oddly colored. it was too bright, and not sure what that was about. Overall, very average and mediocre food. would not come back ------------------- My Star Rating Scale: 5 Stars: Blew my mind, had a wow factor, will come back 4 Stars: I liked it but didn't love it, no wow factor, will still come back 3 Stars: It was okay, I didn't hate it but didn't like it either; would not voluntarily come back 2 Stars: I did not like it, I would not come back 1 Star: Absolutely hated it, I would not come back here

So annoyed! Can only order thru app. Takes so long, after 15 mins of watching the staff so nothing, finally had to ask for my drinks. Then watched very elderly man try to order a beer and because he didn't have a phone to order with, they told him no and wouldn't serve him. He was so sweet. Totally disgusted with this place, won't be back!

We were lucky that our arrival gate was right next to this place which is located right in between Gate 74 and Gate 76 in Terminal C at LaGuardia Airport. I got the kimchi ramen and a pork bun. My husband got the garlic ramen and added kimchi and an egg. You order via a QR code that pulls up a menu on your phone and pay through the website. I thought the pork bun was really good but the kimchi ramen was probably the worst ramen I've ever had. As with all airport food, it was overpriced as well.

Sesame garlic ramen w/ egg and spicy pork

This was a sad meal. I definitely mentally prepared for subpar and overpriced ramen because I was at an airport but I was not prepared for how watered down this sesame garlic ramen was. The broth had some memory of flavour somewhere in it. I added a marinated egg for $1.99 but it was only half of an egg and the yolk was completely overcooked. You'll see from other pictures that their broth is much creamier...perhaps I got a bad batch? I added a star because the servers were kind and the food came out fast but if you actually like real ramen, maybe skip this.

I had fairly low expectations as an airport terminal restaurant. Service was quick and efficient, because you order and pay using their QR/website code. If you are an airline employee, you can enter your discount too when you order. I ordered a few handrolls and the shrimp bun ($5 for one). The fish tasted defrosted, although it was fairly generous cuts for the price. I'm not sure if they made sushi rice, it felt like rice that would be included in a rice bowl or stir fry (not short-grained, sticky, slightly sour from rice vinegar, etc.) Overall, 4 stars for an airport terminal restaurant, 3 stars if it was a regular restaurant.

Plane was delayed so I decide to grab a quick bite to eat. Ordered the kimchi ramen through a QR code on the table. Pretty convenient and easy to do. Food came out fairly quick. Presentation was terrible. Broth was okay. The ramen only comes with some kimchi, onions and cabbage. I added the the roasted pork for $3 and egg for $2. Ramen was $16. For what you pay for it's absolutely not worth the price you pay. I'll pass on this next time.

We ordered a combo with chicken popcorn, which paired perfectly with our meal, and ended on a sweet note with their matcha jelly dessert. The Thai tea was good, though a bit rich and sweet for my taste. I'd recommend diluting it slightly to balance the flavor. What really stood out, aside from the food, was the ambiance. We were seated in a cozy, semi-private booth (almost like a little dining nook), which made the whole experience feel more intimate and relaxing. The staff were also quick and courteous, adding to the overall great vibe. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.

We tried a bunch of ramens and they were all delicious. I tried the omarice, and it was good, but the glaze lacked flavor. I feel like it would be better to go with their curry sauce. Overall, a decent place for ramen, but not going to seek coming out here.

Even before the food arrives, the restaurant leaves a strong impression with its stunning Japanese-inspired interior. The space is beautifully designed, blending warmth and elegance in a way that feels both inviting and refined. From the soft lighting to the natural wood accents and thoughtfully arranged decor, everything about the atmosphere feels intentional. It captures the intimate charm of a traditional izakaya while still feeling modern and stylish, making it a wonderful setting for anything from a casual dinner to a more special night out. The food more than lived up to the beauty of the space. One of the first highlights was the salmon onigiri, a dish that proved how satisfying simplicity can be when it is done well. The rice was soft, fresh, and perfectly formed, holding together without feeling too compact, while the salmon added a savory richness that made each bite feel comforting and flavorful. It was balanced, delicate, and deeply satisfying in a way that made it memorable despite its simplicity. The seared salmon salad was another standout. The salmon itself was beautifully prepared, with a lightly seared exterior that gave it a subtle crispness, while the inside remained tender, buttery, and smooth. That contrast in texture made the dish especially enjoyable. Paired with the freshness of the salad, it felt light and refreshing, yet still substantial enough to feel like more than just a side dish. It was a dish that managed to feel both clean and indulgent at the same time. The grilled squid was particularly impressive and easily one of the most memorable items of the meal. Squid can often be difficult to get right, as it can become rubbery or overly chewy if even slightly overcooked, but that was absolutely not the case here. The texture was spectacular--tender, delicate, and pleasantly springy without any toughness. Each bite had a light smokiness from the grill that added depth, while the squid itself retained its natural sweetness. It was expertly prepared and showcased a level of precision that really stood out. For the main courses, both the Tonkatsu Ramen and the Black Pepper Ramen delivered distinct experiences, each with its own appeal. The Tonkatsu Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a broth that had a rich, velvety texture and a full-bodied depth that coated the palate beautifully. It felt smooth, hearty, and luxurious without being too heavy. The noodles had an ideal texture as well--firm enough to provide a satisfying bite, yet soft enough to soak up the broth and integrate perfectly into the dish. Altogether, it was a bowl that felt warming, balanced, and incredibly comforting. The Black Pepper Ramen, on the other hand, brought a bolder and more assertive flavor profile. The broth had a smooth, glossy texture, and the noodles again had a pleasing chew that gave the dish structure and substance. The black pepper added an unmistakable warmth and aromatic intensity that made the ramen stand out immediately. It was flavorful and memorable, though the pepper was slightly overwhelming at times. A bit less black pepper would have allowed the other flavors in the broth to come through more clearly and created a more balanced bowl. Even so, the ramen was still enjoyable, especially for those who appreciate strong, pepper-forward flavors. Overall, Izakaya Fuku is a restaurant that succeeds on every level. The stunning Japanese interior creates an atmosphere that feels both immersive and elegant, while the food reflects a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. From the comforting salmon onigiri, to the fresh and beautifully prepared seared salmon salad, to the expertly grilled squid with its exceptional texture, and finally the rich and satisfying ramen dishes, every part of the meal felt carefully executed. It is a place that offers not just excellent food, but a complete dining experience, and it is well worth visiting for anyone looking for standout Japanese cuisine in New York.

Tasted like they just defrosted and microwaved it. I was wondering why i kept hearing a microwave go off but realized after the fact that that's what they must have done. I did not complain. We paid the bill. We left. Later that night I had stomach issues. Nicest way I can put that. I will say that i ate almost nothing that day so I can only attribute the stomach issues to the sushi.
