The Doritos nachos are another favorite. I know how that sounds, but trust me. Order them. The chips and queso, pastor tacos, and asada tacos are all solid too. And if they have the coconut frozen margarita, get it. Add pineapple and suddenly you're mentally on vacation. I've been here for happy hour, brunch, and dinner, and I've always left happy. That's about the best compliment I can give a place.

Honestly, what more could you ask for? They've refreshed the space with new furniture, and I can already see the potential once summer hits and patio seating comes into play. The mole was good, but could use more seasoning. My husband had the tequila chicken, and it was fine but kind of bland. I asked for hot sauce and it was delicious and home made, but not very hot, when I asked for something spicier, they actually made me a fantastic red sauce from scratch that was pleasantly spicy. The beans are also home made which is very nice. The service is always quick and friendly. I am excited to come back soon!

There are plenty of Mexican restaurants to choose from, but finding one that genuinely reflects our Mexican roots is much harder. As a Mexican from California, I've always believed California sets a very high standard when it comes to Mexican cuisine. This time, however, El Colima proved that Colorado absolutely has a place serving real, authentic Mexican food. The portions were generous and satisfying, the ingredients were fresh, and every dish was full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in both the quality of their food and the overall dining experience. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. Thank you, El Colima Mexican Food, for such an amazing experience. I look forward to visiting again the next time I'm in Denver!

We came with children and we were pleasantly surprised to see a restaurant that had more than just 2 high chairs which ended up accommodating more people who came with little ones z the kids menu has a good variety as well and the portions were great! We ended up getting the kids quesadilla and added ground beef to it and they were delicious! I'm so glad this place is so close to us and we are excited to try many more items from their menu, especially their guacamole which looked for good! We arrived early at 5pm and it was already packed! The secret is out! Service was friendly. Margs were delicious. Good was great. Loved that the Burria tacos are crispy and not so oily that so many places get wrong. Chips, salsa and guacamole were great. Breakfast burritos all day which made my friend and husband very happy. I would probably get the tacos next time. We will definitely be back! Parking was easy to find on the street.

When we arrived, the interior was super packed and super loud so I was very relieved when we got to sit on the back patio, which turned out great because even though there was a little noise there, we were able to hear each other much better. The server was excellent. She kept checking on us. She answered all our questions and was very kind and accommodating. I've been thinking about the tacos since then, it's been about a week, I can't wait to go back.
