Decided to give this place a try and ordered everything to go. We got the spicy beef noodle soup, Tan Tan noodles, popcorn chicken, Xiao Long Bao, and an iced lemon tea. Everything was ready pretty fast, which was nice. The food did not disappoint. The beef noodle soup was spicy but had a lot of flavor, and the Tan Tan noodles were probably one of my favorites. Popcorn chicken was crispy and good, and the Xiao Long Bao hit the spot too. Also, the iced lemon tea was massive! Definitely wasn't expecting it to be that big. Needless to say, peak hour you'll be waiting (so join the waitlist). If you're being seated soon, the waiter suggests you to start marking up the items on the menu. Once you've call in, the menu is dropped so you better know what to order and start ordering. The turn around time is quick so be courtesy and not linger. Now the food, is yummy! I like their "dim sum" which really are dumplings! My favorite is the Dan Dan noodles and the Sesame noodles. It's been a while since I visited Mr. Dragon in Diamond bar. I arrived during the week for a late lunch. Parking is never an issue here even during peak times. I was seated asap, since there was no wait and the friendly waitress took my order immediately. Started off with the seaweed salad and followed with the beef noodle soup with tendon. Like all my previous visits, the food was solid. The seaweed salad was fresh and the beef noodle soup broth was served piping hot and was rich in flavor. The standard round noodles were bouncy and the beef was tender and tendon wasn't overly cooked and had the perfect chew. I recommend eating with a larger group so you can order many dishes and eat family style, since the menu is diverse and you'll be able to experience many flavors and textures. read more

Came here because I thought this was the same restaurant that used to be in HK Market in Rowland Heights. Learned from one of the staff that this is a different owner but the restaurant happens to share the same name. Needless to say, food was really good. Brought a bunch of non-Asian friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed. One thing I was happy to see was the sesame noodle. I feel like this Taiwanese dish is becoming harder to find in this area. Happy to report the flavor was pretty spot on. Chili wontons were also a huge hit. Just enough heat without overpowering the pork. XLB were also quite delicious. Very juicy and they held together when handling. It's always a bummer when you're eating XLB and they tear before you get them on your spoon. Beware that it's steaming hot when it first comes out and it can still be too hot to eat even minutes after. To cool it down, poke a hole through the inside. It's typically eaten with vinegar, soy sauce, and a bit of ginger slices which added nice flavors. 4/5 BEEF ROLL ($16) - I liked the crispy exterior and there was a good portion of meat. This was one of the dishes I liked more than others. 4.5/5 HOT OIL SHRIMP PORK WITH CHINESE CABBAGE WONTON ($14) - the wontons were larger than typical and while I liked the mala spice of the sauce, I wasn't the biggest fan of the overall flavor of the sauce. 3.5/5 HOUSE SPECIAL BEEF NOODLE SOUP ($15.50) - the broth was flavorful and the meat pieces were very tender. Everything here is always good. Recently came here for a group lunch (about 10-15 people) and while I don't think giant noodle bowls are ideal for sharing everything was great, especially considering how loosely gathered our party was. Their pan fried buns are the best I've had in OC (my fave in the US is in Flushing NY), so that's always a dish I have to order. Their mala beef noodle soups are solid, the broth is rich and the noodles are firm enough. The restaurant has very generous portions for their appetizers. The seaweed app is a heaping mountain and the popcorn chicken always comes on a large plate. Their drinks are also big so it's great to share with the group. I was craving noodles, so we had to stop by Mr. Dragon Noodle! We ordered the beef noodle soup, and while I personally wasn't a huge fan of the noodles because they were a little too firm for my taste, the Angus beef tomato ramen was definitely a hit. We added pickled radish and bamboo shoots on the side, which made the noodle soup even better. We also ordered the xiao long bao, which came out juicy and delicious. I definitely recommend eating them while they're hot because once they cool down, the wrapper starts to harden and they're just not quite as good. For drinks, we got the honey lemon green tea, and it came in a huge jug! It was easily shareable between two people, so I thought it was a really good value for the price. Service was amazing as well. We came around 6 PM on a Sunday night and only waited about 5 minutes. It wasn't too busy, and there was plenty of parking available at that time, which was really nice. These potstickers were slightly lacking in flavor, too. Pan-fried pork baos (6pcs): 4/5. Looked great and weren't greasy for being pan-fried. Good balance of having a soft top and a crispy bottom, but I just wished the meat filling was more savory. The parking lot wraps around the building in this small plaza, and there were spots available once we got closer to the restaurant around the other side of the building. We were seated right away despite appearing busy on a Saturday night. Restaurant looked casual and modern, with a good amount of indoor tables. Located at the Golden Springs Plaza, this restaurant isn't accessible via Lemon St. You'd need to make a turn from Golden Springs Dr. I've been to this same chain but at the location in Rosemead, and the food quality was similar here. The restaurant was busy but still felt clean inside. I got the house special beef noodle soup ($15.50), and we shared xiao long bao (eight pieces for $12.50). The soup had a lot of thin egg noodles and large beef pieces. The dishes here can be shareable, and they put little soup bowls each for us four. The broth was flavorful, but I think I would've preferred a soup with more spice. The xiao long bao was also really tasty and came to us hot in a steamer. read more

Yummy dinner spot! My friends and I went to eat on a Sunday night at 7PM and it wasn't that crowded. We waited for about 20 minutes before getting seated. The dining space was nice with lots of seating for smaller sized parties. We ordered the crab XLB, black pepper beef udon, popcorn chicken, sautéed spinach, and hot chili oil wontons. There are a lot of seats, but they turn the seats around pretty quickly so they can accommodate for many customers that lineup at their door. So finding a legit noodle spot usually feels like searching for the Tesseract... everyone claims they have it but it's usually a fake (Red Skull and Loki crave over this Tesseract). But the food here is actually excellent. The beef roll literally knocks it out of the park like Hulk smashing Loki in Stark Tower. We actually had take out from here one night,, and it survived the car ride home better than Captain America's shield takes a hit. The dumplings were quite good too - a bunch of them just packed with flavor. It was so wonderful we came back to eat inside a few days later. The inside feels great. kinda like the Sanctum Sanctorum of Dr Strange but with way better smells.
