    Shrimp fried rice
    Zinnia V.

Food was good, my favorite thing was the pan fried bun. The beef roll was good but it needed more hoisin sauce. The XLB was yummy. Shrimp fried rice was a favorite among my family members.

Meet up with my sister and niece for lunch at Mr. Dragon Noodle House in Diamond Bar. We ordered Cold Seaweed as appetizers and cold dishes, Xiao Long Bao, Pan Fried Pork Bao, House Special Beef Noodle Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Green Tea. Today is Mother's Day, and we were lucky to get a table right away, so there was no need to wait. All of the foods we ordered arrived quickly, and the Green Tea I ordered was huge cup. All of the foods we ordered were excellent, with the exception of the Shrimp Fried Rice, which was little dry. Hopefully the next time we order it again, it won't be as dry. Happy Mother's Day to everyone!!

Mr Dragon Noodle House *March 18th, 2026 *6pm- Wednesday *4 Stars Environment: *Small Parking Lot *Indoor Seating *Quick Service *Take-Out Food/Drink: *Beef Rolls *House Special Beef Noodle Soup *Dan Dan Noodles I've eaten here a handful of times with friends before, but this was my first time ordering takeout. Instead of placing the order online, my sister and I decided to go in person, and the whole process was pretty quick (about 15 minutes). The portions were generous across the board. At first I was a little surprised by the price of the beef roll, since many other places usually price them around $12-$16, while Mr. Dragon charges closer to $20. However, once I saw how much beef was packed inside, it definitely felt worth the price. The House Special Beef Noodle Soup was rich and comforting, and a great choice overall. The Dan Dan noodles had good flavor, although they were a little on the salty side for my personal taste.

Angus beef with pickled vegetable rice noodle soup = savory, delicious
    Laura H.

Angus beef with pickled vegetable rice noodle soup with fun (wide) noodles: 5/5. Easily one of the most satisfying and flavorful noodle soups I've ever had, especially on a cold night. The perfectly umami yet slightly oily broth had a lovely mouthfeel and wasn't heavy-tasting. The sliced meat, bok choy, and pickled greens went well with the broth and wide rice noodles. I'd go back just for this bowl. Popcorn chicken: 5/5. A generous portion of these lightly coated, crunchy, fried chicken bites didn't disappoint. Yummy and addicting! It was hard to put the toothpicks down haha. I didn't need a sauce for these cuz they were good on their own. Beef fried rice: 2/5. Sadly, this fried rice was extremely bland; it's not something I'd order again due to its underwhelming flavor. We seasoned the leftovers at home. Xiao long baos (8pcs): 3/5. Average filling with the meat and broth, and the wrapper was a bit thick and chewy. Chili pork wontons: 4/5. Decent wontons in a mildly spicy chili oil. The chili oil can be used to add more flavor to certain dishes, too. Pork potstickers: 3/5. The wrapper was also a bit thick and dense compared to the amount of filling it was encasing. These potstickers were slightly lacking in flavor, too. Pan-fried pork baos (6pcs): 4/5. Looked great and weren't greasy for being pan-fried. Good balance of having a soft top and a crispy bottom, but I just wished the meat filling was more savory. The parking lot wraps around the building in this small plaza, and there were spots available once we got closer to the restaurant around the other side of the building. We were seated right away despite appearing busy on a Saturday night. Restaurant looked casual and modern, with a good amount of indoor tables. Service was straightforward, and food came out pretty quickly, with each dish arriving one by one instead of all at the same time. Overall, the food was very tasty and seemed to be made in-house, which is a nice touch.

love the food here, we've been going to Mr. Dragon since it's inception decades ago and always keep coming back. Taste change slightly, owners change, locations change, but it's always the familiarity of the dishes and the common taste of the dishes we have come to love that remind us of our culture. You will be satisfied with every dish you order here.

We used to eat at this noodle house often decades ago. Didn't know it opened a location in diamond bar. Glad I found it on DoorDash so we ordered delivery on a weekday night. We had beef noodle soup, sour fish rice noodle soup, seaweed salad and popcorn chicken. The food was comforting in big portions. But the popcorn chicken medium spicy was too spicy for me. I really enjoyed the seaweed salad. We will order deliveries from here from time to time!

First visit was a success! The pan fried pork buns were so good, we had to get another plate. Definitely visiting again soon!

This place is the spot! Service is super quick and the food is delicious. Huge portions and good prices! While you wait in line you can fill out the sheet for your order and once you're seated the food comes out super fast. The teas are also HUGE and refillable. Definitely a great spot for value.

Mr Dragon Noodle House is one of my favorite restaurants for Chinese comfort food. One must order item is their beef rolls - the scallion pancake is perfectly crunchy and the beef is perfectly tender. Other notable items are their pan-fried pork potstickers. The meat filling is bursting with flavor and the crispy skirt adds a nice crisp. The angus beef noodle soup with rice noodles is the perfect comfort noodle soup - flavorful and warming. Their ginormous teas are a great addition to the meal and I usually walk out with almost a full drink from the leftover.

Treated to a Monday lunch that 5 of us shared, appetizers, noodles and dumplings, vegetables. All dishes we ordered were great tasting: Dan Dan noodle, spicy beef soup, popcorn chicken, xia long bao, pan fried pork dumpling, garlic bok choy. All dumplings were juicy. Service was courteous. We got a convenient table for a guest in a wheelchair. Handicap parking space was in front of the restaurant. Restaurant was clean with comfortable seating. We look forward to returning to try more items from the menu.

We came to Mr. Dragon Noodle House in Diamond Bar on a Sunday night and were seated right away, which was a great start. The restaurant was lively but not overly crowded. We ordered a few dishes to share. The beef rolls were crispy and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the pig ears, which had a nice chewy texture and were well seasoned. The xiao long bao were sweeter than what I'm used to, which was a bit unexpected but still enjoyable. For noodles, we ordered the tomato with Angus beef rice noodle soup. The broth was comforting and slightly tangy from the tomato, and the Angus beef was tender. Overall, it was a solid spot for noodles and dumplings with quick seating and satisfying dishes

We visited here for the first time on a Sunday at noon. They do have a Yelp waitlist queue, so there should be a minimal wait if you can time your arrival well. Located at the Golden Springs Plaza, this restaurant isn't accessible via Lemon St. You'd need to make a turn from Golden Springs Dr. I've been to this same chain but at the location in Rosemead, and the food quality was similar here. The restaurant was busy but still felt clean inside. I got the house special beef noodle soup ($15.50), and we shared xiao long bao (eight pieces for $12.50). The soup had a lot of thin egg noodles and large beef pieces. The dishes here can be shareable, and they put little soup bowls each for us four. The broth was flavorful, but I think I would've preferred a soup with more spice. The xiao long bao was also really tasty and came to us hot in a steamer.

Delicious food and average prices! This location is the nicer one and there's a free parking lot! I definitely recommend the beef roll but everything is delicious. I would definitely go back!

For skewers, we also ordered the squid, beef, and potato skewers which were all very tasty. Not alot of char but the meats were fairly tender. The golden pot was a pretty surprising hit at our table. The gold almost florescent broth has an interesting sour kick, almost like pickled veggies. Soup was a nice contrast to the meaty skewers and came with a variety of hot pot favorites like fish cake, imitation crab, napa cabbage, wood ear mushroom, vermicelli, and thinly sliced meat. Also when they see that you are running low on broth, they will pour some more in. This was especially helpful because they serve this over a fire which can evaporate alot of the soup. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, and was even packed on a Monday night. Had a great experience and the food felt very familiar!

Fortunately, they serve both. We both love siomai, duck, and crispy salted squid so we ordered the trio. The siomai was fresh. Tasted as if it was just off a lunch cart. It's delicious and the serving size is quite generous. The price is unbeatable too. We really enjoyed its balanced taste. Sometimes, siomai can be a bit bland but this was packed with flavor. The Peking Duck was great too. Reminded us of our time in Hong Kong. Less oily but still delicious. The buns were great too. We both enjoyed every bite. The sauce was excellent too. It had sweetness to it from the pineapple sauce. The salted crispy squid is balanced. Salty yet a bit sweet. It's definitely more of the indulgent side of things. Best paired with rice. We skip the carbs that night, but we'll definitely order this again paired with something else. The service here is great. Everyone is welcoming and helpful. It doesn't feel like rushed service. Ambiance here feels like your typical Chinese restaurant. It's clean and you can tell it has aged over time. You're here for the good food though, not the aesthetics. This is where Duck Palace really earns its name. The skin hits that ideal balance--lightly crisp with a slight lacquered sheen--while the meat underneath stays juicy and flavorful without being overly fatty. It's not trying to be trendy or reinvent anything; it's just done right. The seasoning leans traditional Cantonese--savory, slightly sweet, and aromatic without being heavy-handed. I did not try the supporting dishes, but they had a good variety outside the roast duck. This is where you can tell whether a place is a one-hit wonder or a true kitchen. They had BBQ combo plates, stir-fried dishes, and various sides. Service here is efficient, is part of the charm. You're coming for good food, done well. Best to call in to reserve a duck ahead of time because they will sell out by mid-afternoon. The space itself is clean and straightforward--more casual than upscale--but comfortable enough for both quick meals and relaxed family meals. What I appreciate most about Duck Palace is the consistency. The price is reasonable for what you are paying for and the duck combo meal is enough to feed 2-3 people. Pro tips: - Go earlier in the day if you want the freshest roast selections. - Takeout holds up surprisingly well (the duck skin still has some integrity if you don't let it sit too long). - Great option when you want authentic flavors without driving deeper into the valley. - Discount for paying in cash Bottom line: If you're in Diamond Bar and craving authentic Cantonese roast meats, Duck Palace is a reliable go-to. It may not be flashy, but it delivers where it counts--and sometimes, that's exactly what you want.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Do not waste your time or money here…read more The moment we walked into Fu's Restaurant, it felt like stepping into a sauna. It was 79 degrees inside, muggy, humid, and completely uncomfortable. We almost turned around and left immediately. The place was practically empty, which honestly should have been our first red flag. We decided to give them a chance anyway. Big mistake. My colleague and I were offered water or hot tea. We both ordered hot tea. The menu clearly says in English that hot tea is $2.99. Nowhere does it clearly explain in English that you will be charged differently depending on how many people drink it. When the bill came, we were charged $5 each. Apparently, there is some clarification written in Chinese, but how are customers who do not read Chinese supposed to know that? That is completely misleading. The tea portions were not larger, not special, nothing different. Just basic tea. The pricing felt deceptive. We also ordered popcorn chicken and chili wonton soup. Both came out in tiny portions that looked like appetizers, yet the menu does not clearly label them as such. For what we received, paying over $30 total felt ridiculous. The food itself was mediocre at best. Nothing memorable and definitely not worth the price. Because of the uncomfortable temperature, confusing pricing, small portions, and average food, we chose not to leave a tip. As we were walking out, the waiter chased us outside and pressured us about the zero tip. That is completely inappropriate. Tipping is not mandatory. It is earned. Confronting customers outside over a tip is unprofessional and embarrassing. Between the heat, the questionable menu pricing, the small portions, and being confronted outside, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. We will never be back. Next time, I am definitely sticking to my favorite, the Home Style Stir-Fried Silver Pin Noodles, since it is way better. We both liked the Satay Beef Instant Noodle.
