I really love this place. It's a typical Chinese takeout and the food is tasty. Everything doesn't taste the same-- which is a big plus from some takeouts we have been to. Owners give you sauces if you want extra and are very kind people. My husband had pepper steak and he orders it all the time. I enjoy Singapore mei fun and it is a wonderful spicy curry noodle delight. All in all, food is good, fair priced, and hot when given to you. It's a win-win take out for us. read more

We ordered egg rolls, crab Rangoon and both are really good. For Florida Chinese food, this place is the best you can do. Their chicken and black bean sauce is delicious. My spouse orders the Moo Shu shrimp and loves it so much, it's a standing order. I ordered a combination dinner, beef with pea pods and these combo dinners are so good. They're always very generous with the portions, as well. My daughter-in-law swears by the sesame chicken and says it tastes better than any place near her house in Daytona. I ran here after grocery shopping. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm thinking maybe they were having an off day or something because the food was not something that I would go back for again. I ordered sweet and sour chicken to be safe. The egg roll it came with was fine. Not too greasy and was fresh. The chicken was just ok. The sweet and sour sauce was fine that had good flavor. The rice is where they lost me. It was the yellow fried rice which I'm not that much a fan of but will eat it if I have to. This particular location has he rice tasted like nothing. It was very bland. So bland that I ended up throwing it away because even after I put soy sauce on it it still didn't taste good. Maybe in the future I'll try something different but I'm not making a trip to just go there. read more

I received none of the sides I requested, when we called to ask about it, we were told they had run out but they didn't notify us although we had paid for what was requested. The food that we did receive was sesame chicken and it was not good. It was way too chewy, almost as if undercooked but visually we could tell it was cooked through. Texture was strange. Surprised with how good this little place was. Was scared to try but everyone suggested to try it so we did. Generals tsos chicken was nice and crunchy. Mangolian beef was good but had lots of onions but I love onions. Beef Lo mein was great. The chicken fried rice was okay didn't have much flavor. Also got the Szechuan wontons, I was expecting them to be crunchy but they were like steamed and in sauce. My husband and sister loved them and I was not impressed. I cannot believe this place is on Yelp. When I lived in Apopka, this was my favorite Chinese food place! They have $5 lunch specials and fantastic lo-mein. When I was going through my vegetarian phase, He Hops Vegetable Delight is probably the only thing that kept me from a severe vitamin deficiency. It's a pretty quiet place in a strip mall. There's a few tables if you want to sit, but most people get it to go. They do chicken wings now too, which kind of surprised me, but if that's your thing, you're in luck. Lo mein didn't have a lot of flavor and the orange chicken was pretty indistinguishable from anything else, except for a couple pieces of orange rind. The egg rolls tasted like the same egg rolls you get everywhere and the crab Rangoon wasn't bad, but I wouldn't get it again. So I was craving some Chinese food this raining evening , so I searched for a nearby Chinese restaurant near me, and placed my order, only one mile away from me, how convenient. I ordered vegetable lo mein. The man who answered the phone was very abrupt. I asked if they had spring rolls instead of the egg roll that comes with the lunch special. He said no. When I got there and I looked at the menu, I see they had vegetable rolls ... he could have mentioned that. When I went in to correct that he was again very abrupt and borderline rude. The portion was large but it had no flavor at all. Maybe other things are good but the vegetable lo mein was not.
