I got this sofa and chair set from a resale shop and it was I terrible shape. Chris was able to put…read morenew springs in, fix carpentry issues in the back of the sofa, put in new cushions and reduce the number of pleats. She even secured the cushions to the couch so they wouldn't slip off or out of place. It's Chris's great attention to little details like that that really make her finished product great. She helped me pick out a great fabric that would match my interior colors and was kid proof (as much as any fabric can be lol). Chris has great taste and is a huge help when you're not sure which direction you want to go. Chris does incredible work and I've been so happy with my sofa and couch that I'm having Chris reupholster my dinning room chairs as well.

I used them three times and every time they came out for the installation they did not do what we agreed on during the consultation and then said they gaslighted me saying telling me thats not what we agreed upon (it is MY home....I know what I asked you to do). One designer even ordered one set of blinds differently than agreed upon and said after the installation (oh I liked it better that way so I ordered it like that) even though it is different from every other blind in the house.

The lady spoke negatively of Budget Blinds and came off dishonest.. a completely different experience from Rich. I decided 5 mins into that interaction that I was sticking with Rich. Just based on the professional and friendly customer service. Unfortunately, my shades weren't what I wanted them to be but Rich & Mark did not take it personal and they were so patient and kind even though I was very blunt about what I didn't like. Somehow one of windows was a different shade, the valances weren't what was described, and we didn't like how they looked (personal opinion) but others liked them. They did everything within their power to satisfy us as their customers. They contacted the manufacturer to correct the issues that were pointed out and did it without any animosity. Rich owned the misinformation given to me and that's powerful. This could have been a 2 star review, just because of all of the things that "went wrong". I understand not every transaction will go smoothly, which happened to be mine, but the way they handled everything was Chik-fil-a top tier, lol. I didn't want to mention the series of unfortunate events but to me that is what brought out their best service. FYI the issues were out of their control and I am picky. At the end of the day, people buy from people. I will continue to refer business to them.

Total con man-RUN from ASAP blinds and Darryl Newborn!…read more Darryl Newborn is as slick as they come-paid 10K for customized roller shades to cover my back patio-took about a year from initial payment (dude requires 75% up front-that should have been the red flag but I was dumb) to when shades were installed-some story about shipping from China (came to learn shades came from Seattle-this guy can spin them), and they shipped the wrong shades-story after story Finally shades come in and employs some incompetent installer to do the work that had ZERO idea what he was doing When Darryl continued to ghost me after the faulty installation (and their attempt to fix the faulty instillation) i was lucky enough to find the original manufacturer of the shades (who btw told me that he doesn't do business with Daryl anymore cuz Daryl doesn't pay his bills-he couldn't get a hold of Daryl either) who got me in contact with a reputable shade installer who came and fixed everything-the install was a total mess-so lucky that this didn't fall and hurt/kill someone Never in my life have I dealt with someone this dishonest and deceptive-to be fair though it probably is just complete incompetence-claims he's been in houston for decades but the Houstonians I know don't act like this-go back to wherever your from Darryl Regardless DO NOT do business with him unless you just want to give him your $ for nothing

As some of my existing blinds were Hunter Douglas, I found that The Frog was my nearest dealer, and set up a consultation at my house. Pilar and Celene were great to work with on my two projects -- both extremely knowledgable, and made my projects feel important even though I'm sure they were pretty small (~$1200 in total). I chose to install myself; however, when I found that my custom fixed blind appeared to be a bit too big, The Frog sent a technician to modify the blind and get it up and running. Although my immediate blind needs are now met, I will not turn a blind eye to The Frog for my future window projects.
