So we came here last minute on our way to an open house that was highly suggested that we bring cigars. We've never been here before, their selection was superb but more importantly they were super organized. We got what we wanted and we were in and out in about 5 minutes. The staff was super helpful and the crowd was having a good time. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next weekend so we could really spend sometime checking it out! pretty good selection... Great bourbon choices... Prices were a little steep, even for Scottsdale

While their section is good. The staff is well rude and very unprofessional and I uninviting. I came in no one to greeted me or even ask if I needed anything. Then went to pay and he assumed I was taking it home. I said no I will smoke it here. He seemed very annoyed. There is not much seating, In fact the chair that was available had rips and holes and well look like it had been though WW3. Having been to the other Churchill locations this one is by far the worst . Several people came in and ask me if work here because the person that worked here had nothing to do with people walking. They only have beer which is ok I was not ask if wanted anything. And I am pretty sure this is a Arizona Beverage Control Board violation the employee was carrying. I don't think that a person serving alcohol can't carry firearms. Anyway very disappointed especially compared to the other Churchill's in the vall. read more

Great place to sit and have a cigar while having your favorite libations. The humidor is well stocked and the selection is quite impressive. After you select your stick you can sit at one of the many tables and watch your favorite sports team or sit up at the bar and admire the selection of bourbons and other sprits. I'm always on the Lookout for Nice Cigar shops, as my Husband has become quite fond of them and I like to bring them home and surprise him. This shoppe was particularly nice because not only did it have a large walk in with tons of cigars (see pics) They also had a nice selection of table top Humidor boxes, a couple large standing Humidor cases, a variety of other accessories and the best part, A dedicated Smoking Lounge in the back complete with Plasma TV and several leather chairs and a couch. Only one reason it's not 5 star is the sub-par ventilation (described below) Great cigar selection: - all the selves are completely full - back stock (extra boxes) are stacked on upper shelves - they even have some cigars stored in the back room, as their shelves are full. So, If you don't see what you want, ask whoever's working and they may have some in the back. Since my BF (M Carbonara) can't reply to the owners comments, he asked me to forward this on as his response to the customers at Churchill's: After the owner at Churchill's accused me of making false statements in my post, I thought a picture would be worth a thousand words, unfortunately Yelp wont let me attach a pic showing how much my BF actually saved going to Big Sticks.  Today, 4-10-21, I purchased 2 boxes of Patron natural 2000's at Big Sticks for $287.88.   So technically, the owner at Churchill's is correct, you wouldn't save $25 a box, but instead, you would save closer to $27 a box at Big Sticks.  I'm glad he pointed out my "false review" so that I could correct it. read more

Fantastic cigar shop! Arguably one of the best that I've been to in Phoenix, and possibly Arizona as a whole. The shop is clean and well-organized, with a fantastic selection of premium, as well as everyday cigars. One thing I appreciate about this shop is the fact that the prices of the cigars are clearly labeled throughout the walk-in humidor. I can't think of one box that wasn't clearly marked with a price. That is something that I definitely appreciate. The manager (Ikova) is running an excellent shop. Additionally, she's kind, thoughtful, and pleasant to speak with. Never ever have I ever been treated so badly like I had been by the night attendant. He treats us like we're stealing asking to check my son's pockets. We are cigar lovers and spend time looking at them. When decide on what to buy we spend $50 to $100 several times a week. I will never spend a dime in Churchill's again. We purchase some cigars here from time to time, but we would rather buy and take home rather than share the small lounge with other smokers. The back room is dedicated for smoking with 2 general seating areas and a big screen. They do not sell drinks of any type, and I like to have liquid with my stogie. Plus, if you have more than 3 or 4 people lighting up back there, it gets awful stuffy and smoky. The walk in humidor has a nice selection and all our purchases have been in good condition. I think they waste space with the few tables of humidors and ashtrays. It would be better used as additional seating area. Put the humidors on a shelf against the wall. read more

My husband and I stopped in on date night after visiting Mellow Mushroom across the street. Our first time here as we typically go to Fox's or the cigar lounge at Talking Stick. It's certainly a small quaint place compared to others. I wish they had more options for alcoholic beverages. They had a tap but it was empty. So we had to buy bottle and the price was a bit much- $6 for a 12oz bottle of Kiltlifter. It is what it is. I enjoyed the associate who assisted us and went over the cigar selection. He asked great questions as to our price range and taste preferences with cigars we've smoked in the past. The other guests were friendly and you certainly feel welcome here. The smoking lounge is one of the nicest free lounges in Phoenix with a large flat screen T.V. very nice and comfy leather chairs but it gets very smokey when 4 or more people light up. Compared to other cigars stores in the area this one has the most diverse group of customers from college students to CEO's of fortune 500 companies. I went to this shop today in hopes of killing some time in between errands. When I walked in a was greeted with a half-hearted "hello". It was an after thought. No one entered the humidor to ask if I need assistance. When I went to pay for my cigar I was not asked if I was going to stay and smoke it. The clerk simply bagged the cigar. He interrupted his conversation with another employee to ask me if I wanted a receipt and that was it. I felt very unwelcome; almost as if I was intruding. Won't be going back. read more

I guess this hole in the wall humidor doesn't see many females interested in cigars because the cashier behaved as though we were inconveniencing her. Please let her know she is just a cashier and not an aficionado as she had a difficult time with most of the cigar brand names. Secondly, it's rude to favor your male patrons in front of your female patrons and for that you have lost my business. The first time this poorly dressed cashier was rude to me I forgot about it as it might have just been a moment but the second time I went in with a female friend and it was evident to us she had no interest in working with us but as soon as an older man came in she perked right up and followed him around chatting about the weather of all things.
