Went back and walked up to the window and requested some. One of the lady's was like "you got 3 biscuits right" ??? I was like yes. And she gave me 3 packets of honey. No complaints with the food. I am beyond disgusted with the service my wife received at this location today around 5:30 PM. This wasn't just a simple mistake; it was a complete lack of professional standards and respect for a customer's time. My wife stood there and watched as the staff bypassed her for 11 other orders. There is absolutely no excuse for 11 people who ordered after her to receive their food first while she was ignored. To make matters worse, after that inexcusable wait, the order was completely wrong. We ordered a 10-piece spicy, and they gave us original. If your staff can't handle basic sequencing or distinguish between spicy and original chicken, they shouldn't be on the floor. Corporate needs to pull the logs for the January 28th, 5:30 PM shift and look into why the "service" at this location is so broken. We paid for a specific meal and waited an eternity for it, only to be let down. I honestly hadn't been to Church's Chicken in years because it's never really been my go-to for fried chicken. The flavor and quality have always felt more like store-bought than freshly made. But my boyfriend was craving it, so we placed an online order for pickup. When I got there, the cashier, Abraham (who introduced himself as the General Manager), immediately rubbed me the wrong way. I asked for a few honey packets, and he told me it's "one per order of biscuit." The funny part? I didn't even order biscuits. So not only was that policy irrelevant, but he came off as rude and condescending while enforcing it. Things got worse when I noticed there were no utensils in my bag. I am Mr Fried Chicken people! I used to love this place, however the chicken has gotten too salty. The sandwiches are saturated with salt beyond normal. Like if you thought Chick Fil A was salty, this place has like double salt. So my suggestion for this place would be to ease off the salt because it only adds so much flavor and that's it. I am not chigging my 5 gallon water after eating. Lately, I have been doing Korean fried chicken which is more thoughtfully made with fresh oil and additive seasonings like sauce, raw onions. Our go to Fried Chicken place. Juicy, crunchy and usually good deals. Their App and the actual California Locations do not really have the same pricing. So I usually wait until I get to the restaurant to see if they have specials advertised on their window posters. They have a family Leg & Thigh special with two large sides and 5 biscuits, but we don't really eat the biscuits so it's just slightly cheaper to order the chicken only and order large sides a L's carte. I realize your savings is in getting 5 biscuits for like $1.20 more, so if you eat the biscuits, then get the family meal deal. The service is spot on. No issues with my order, since I ordered in person instead of the app. I like my mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side or else they mix gravy with the mashed potatoes and if I ordered it on the App, I would have no way to modify it. The workers here show poor customer service and are incompetent. They can't get orders right. They give you the wrong order or something is missing. When I asked an employee for ranch dressing (which they forgot to give me) she just stuck her hands out with packets and didn't even say a word or make eye contact. Went there today and was treated so poorly and so disrespectfully by Abraham C. Who claims? He's the manager? He told me that they were a private owned company, not a franchise and that he was the district manager. How are you? The district manager of something that only stands for one District matter means you're covering the whole region or area, not one location. The whole situation occurred based on a lie he told and created. I asked if I could get my chicken with the lemon pepper seasoning on it since that's what they've been offering. We came in on a weekday at around 6PM. The staff took our order and our food was out in about 5 minutes. Very quick. There's a few seats inside of the restaurant. We sat and ate at the restaurant since we wanted to eat it hot and fresh. Their biscuits are my favorite. So buttery and the glaze of honey is delicious! This Churches is usually to go to place for hot fresh chicken over the years. We go there about every other month. It's usually really good, and I always order spicy mixed because 90% of the time I have to wait, and that's OK cause it's almost a guarantee that it will be fresh and hot. But lately, this hasn't been the case. Today, I was told it would be 17 minutes for 8pc. mixed spicy, and as I watched, it seemed to come out on time, hot n fresh, but when I got to my car, the fries were super soggy and cold. Just didn't help the meal, just sucked. Then I had some Cole Slaw, it was terrible, old and runny and so soggy, no slight crunch at all, like when you have freshly made Cole Slaw. Went there last night and watched all the workers have major attitudes with customers. They were taking orders inside and making customers go to the outside window to pick up. We're all so quick to talk trash - but don't do the work! I sat for about 10-15 minutes to get my food, and the gentleman kept checking in with me - letting me know it'll be a few! I APPRECIATE THAT MORE THEN YOU KNOW!!!!! I honestly can eat the whole bag of biscuits because it's my favorite item on the menu!!!! My 2021 fried chicken tour continues...and it's Church Chicken this time. I got to the store right at 9. There were only few customers. My order got taken care fast. Placed my ordered, packed and pick up took maybe 6 mins. Oh, they had a very clean bathroom, it looks like they just remodeled it. Now the chicken. This one is GREASY. Took one bite and you can feel the grease is just right underneath the fried chicken skin. I am glad i am in my 20. Pretty sure i will need an open heart surgery if i am older. The portion size is generous. My 3 piece consist of 1 drum, 1 half breast and wing and large thigh, they are decent size pieces. and there is more. This is MOST tender fried chicken i ever had. The thigh leg bone is barely retained at the socket, it took no effort to pull the bone away. The only downside i can say about these chicken, is that it can use more seasoning. I really wanted to get the smokehouse meal because it's been good in the past. As soon as I went in, the lady helping me was a chubby Hispanic lady who had a REALLY poor level of customer service. She really didn't want to be there or help me. She rang up my meal then went and prepared my food. It seemed really unsanitary for her to do that and she didn't even wash her hands. I usually say something but I get tired of complaining to negligent food service employees who don't like their job.
