I really want to love this place but they need to be aware that they are often overcooking the meat. I've eaten here 3 times for lunch and once for dinner and everything about the place is fine but many of the cuts of meat are medium well to well done. Just went for the first time and it was great!! The staff is super attentive, the salad bar is stocked and has a ton of unique options. Also the hot bar had so much available to choose from - you always can find something delicious to try. The meat was excellent - very well seasoned, not dry, but I prefer things more on the medium side and I found sometimes the cuts they were offering were a bit more toward the rare side. However if you wait and/or ask they will bring you a more well done piece which was super nice! The cocktails are good too - overall great experience. read more

This is the restaurant I picked for my recent birthday dinner. We arrived shortly after noon on a Sunday and were seated right away. They have the option of just going to the buffet or buffet and meat service. We picked the meat service which included the buffet. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered one of the drinks featured on the menu (it was delicious). We first went up to the buffet to get our sides... they had a huge buffet, but not much interested us. My husband got some cold sliced beets and I got some Caesar salad. My husband would have got salad if they had regular salad and he was interested in getting some carrots and broccoli, but they were cold and on ice. After we sat down they started coming around with the skewers of meat. Ribeye steak, New York sirloin, leg of lamb, sausage, chicken and grilled pineapple. A few of the selections they came by twice and it was all very delicious... especially the ribeye ( but we only saw that once). When we got home we were looking at the menu and realized we weren't offered almost half of the meats listed. We never were offered filet mignon, filet mignon with bacon, beef ribs, beef short ribs, lamb chops, pork ribs, chicken hearts and grilled cheese ( we didn't want those 2 anyway). Ambiance-4 stars, it was nice enough and very clean. Service- 5 stars, our server was excellent. Drink Menu- 5 stars, they seemed to have a full bar and had some good drinks on their menu. Beer menu - 2 stars, not much offered. Food- 4 stars. Food we had was delicious, but we were disappointed we didn't get much in the higher price meats for the $50. we paid per person. read more

Host, men going around with skewers of meat, and manager all provided excellent service. The waitress seemed uninterested and was very slow/absent. I enjoyed the side dishes the buffet offered more than the beef they bring to the table. I found most ofthe beef to be difficult to chew. One and done for me. It wasn't worth $50 a head. read more

What an experience. You get to experience many different kinds of meats which are on a spit and sliced thinly at your table. There is a huge salad and sides bar. Most of the food is delicious. The wait staff was excellent, especially Alexander Mateo. read more

Note: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE WORCESTER LOCATION AND NOT THE NORTH DARTMOUTH LOCATION. Churrascaria Tropeiro's Grill opened recently at the Piccadilly Plaza in Worcester. This is their second location with the first location in North Dartmouth. I arrived at Churrascaria Tropeiro's Grill around 5:30 PM for dinner. I was greeted at the host stand and seated in the main dining area, all tables were covered in white linen table cloths. They also have a bar with seating and TVs showing NFL highlights. For dine-in, they were only offering only the Full Dinner Experience ($48.95 plus tax in 2024) with salad bar and hot bar included or just the salad bar and hot bar only. For takeout, you can help yourself to the food bars with a container to fill and they charge by weight. The Full Dinner Experience (Rodizio) meal includes unlimited trips to the salad bar (greens, salads, vegetables, cheeses, deli meats, mussels & shrimp salad, dressings), hot bar (white rice, rice biro biro, feijoada, Feijão tropeiro, mashed potatoes, yuca fries, buttered zucchini, roast pork, chicken frango, spaghetti, cheese bread, corn cream, fried banana), and several different kinds of meats which are sliced and served tableside. The service works like this: a two sided card is placed on the table (red side up means: no meat service (ie. eating the salad course) and the green side up means ready to be served meat. Throughout the meal, I kept the card green side up and flipped it back to red when I wanted a pause. The servers brought out one meat at a time and carved each meat off of the stick and I used my tongs to grab each slice of meat off his carving knife. I enjoyed filet mignon, baby top sirloin steak, ribeye steak, lamb chops, chicken wings & legs, picanha, bacon wrapped chicken breast, bacon wrap filet, chicken heart, pork loin, linguica, and grilled pineapple. After several rounds of meat and three plates from the food bars, I was all set! They presented the dinner check after I said all done with card red side up and no dessert for me. I did get fried banana and small pieces of yellow cake at the food bar. Overall, the meal was very good with the meats brought out were juicy and tender and the service was extremely attentive. I was surprised they stopped at my table to offer meat even when the card was turned red. The dining room wasn't that busy and one server actually gave me three sausages when I only requested one. I think they were trying to clean out the stick of sausages. The meats in general had a salty flavor and some of the sides from the bars balanced out the flavors. The small stuffed cheese bread puffs were really good. I spent about 75 minutes here trying to take my time to not eat too fast since there was a good variety of things to choose from. read more

Okay, let me tell you about Churrascaria Tropeiro's Grill. I went in there expecting a nice dinner. What I got was an education in the sheer, unbridled force of grilled meat. The 'salad bar' is less of a salad bar and more of a warm-up act for the main event. You see all these beautiful, colorful things, and you think, "Oh, this is lovely, I'll have a bit of this and a bit of that." That's your first mistake. Then the parade begins. It's like a meaty, skewered ballet. Waiters glide by with swords loaded with every kind of meat you can imagine. Beef, pork, chicken, sausage--all of it sizzling, all of it smelling like heaven. At one point, I swear I saw a waiter with a full-on pineapple sword, and I've never been more impressed in my life. I'm pretty sure I consumed my body weight in picanha alone. I had to loosen my belt, and then my pants, and then I considered just wearing the tablecloth. When they finally offered me dessert, I had to politely decline, not because I didn't want it, but because I physically couldn't. I was at my limit. My stomach was like, "That's it, buddy, we're closed for business." So, if you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this isn't it. If you're looking to be conquered by an endless procession of perfectly cooked meat, then Churrascaria Tropeiro's Grill is your Valhalla. Just wear stretchy pants. Trust me on this one. read more

Not a great experience. Our service was so bad, they literally vacuumed while we were trying to eat. Don't do that. Lots of servers around but our server was nowhere to be found. The place was empty, yet they seated us right next to the only other large table. We didn't understand the pricing. That may be on us because we couldn't hear the waitress. They should have it in writing. We heard the wrong price so skipped the meat. Big mistake. We paid a lot for just average food. Def get the meat serving. It looked good but we thought it was ~20 more not ~5. Again, our mistake for not understanding the pricing. On a redeeming note, we briefly complained to the server that did see us waiting to pay and he offered a coupon. That was nice. Will donate it to some other brave soul. read more

I know I know it was a Monday..but it was 7p.. they advertise 18 meats. We only saw 10 at best. Most only once. The drink had no alcohol to it all, all fruit. I wont be back. Just not worth the Brazilian steakhouse experience imo. read more

Right when you sit down there is an open salad bar where you can help yourself and pick whatever you like. Most of the vegetables were within freshness, but croutons would rather stale. The category of meat is vast, tender flavored decently well. It's similar to Fogo de Chão, where they have staff coming around to you and provide cuts of meets .Also had cake right at the very end which is a lot bigger than it is on the iPad photo. Filled with chocolate and cake filling. Unfortunately, within a few hours after, I had the worst food poisoning... this was the only thing I had for dinner so it had to be this restaurant. I'm afraid I can't recommend this to anybody as I am quite traumatized by this experience. If you're interested in trying, don't fully go based on my experience. The service was rather soft spoken and easy-going , though I wish the directions of how this work was more clearly because staff that would go around with the meat. They just ask you, but there is a card that you can flip to say yes or no if you wanted that choice of protein. But it doesn't seem like they follow up on that so I find that card quite useless. Sometimes the servers are nowhere to be found, and you kinda quite literally have to catch their attention for anything else. It was quiet during the time on a Wednesday night, but I'm pretty sure when it's loud and busy can't really enjoy the dinner as much as you like. This was my wife and I first time to this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and seated. We were greeted by our waiter Jason and it was about 1 PM Sunday, May 25.. The restaurant was full and we were explained how everything worked in the restaurant. My wife had the buffet and I had the buffet and Churrasco. Once the green card was flipped over assorted meats and sausages came out nonstop and cooked perfectly. My wife loved her buffet, and I had 1 Caipirinha which was perfect! We will be back again. Music too loud that you couldn't hear/understand the waitress. Last but not least, no take home leftovers, for what they charge this could be an option. The waitstaff, the managers, the food..... everything was absolutely wonderful. They came aroukd to your table endlessly carving fresh steak for you. Same with the cinnamon sugar grilled pineapple, the fried cheese, sausages, flavorful chicken wings, and pork ribs. The slicing of endless steaks were Filet Mignon, Ribeye, Cheesesteak, Sirloin, Beef Ribs, Tenderloin, Garlic steak, and lamb steak. We ate every single one. I never had lamb before but the way they cooked it, you would never know it was lamb; It tasted just like regular steak. The strawberry lemonades were filled with fresh fruit and was amazing. They had a salad buffet with everything so fresh it seemed like it was freshly picked out of the garden. They had another buffet table of hot food, and quite the assortment of Brazilian dishes. What I did eat from the hot food area, was delicious. The waitstaff was extremely attentive, so very sweet, always smiling with kindness, and personable. I spoke with two managers afterwards and they were just as kind as everyone else. I made it a point to stop just about every waitstaff, while talking to the two managers, giving the waitstaff the highest praise I possibly could. They couldn't thank me enough and one of them gave me a heart symbol with his hands while thanking me but we truly were the grateful ones. It was a wonderful evening at their establishment. I asked the managers to pass along to the chefs what amazing food they put out for us and we appreciated this entire dining experience.
