Hot food came on freezing cold plates which made it immediately turn cold. Prices were incredibly high for the food quality and quantity. But the one anecdote which really sums up our whole experience: I asked for a cup of hot tea (it was COLD in there). They came back around 4 or 5 times to ask me what kind of tea, if I want milk, should the milk be hot or cold, like a "cup" of tea or "something else"? It took about 20 minutes and the involvement of three people for them to bring me half a mug of hot water, a little cup of (hot) milk, and a celestial seasonings English Breakfast tea bag and then had the temerity to charge 9 DOLLARS for it. It was so utterly ridiculous. I'm usually willing to give people a second chance if there was anything good about the experience but this one is just a no from me.

The atmosphere is supposed to be calm and relaxing, but one of the servers was extremely loud, which took away from the overall experience. I also noticed a child behind the bar, who was later driving a scooter around the back parking lot. Whether or not this is typical, it definitely added to the feeling that the restaurant lacked organization and professionalism. To be fair, the food was once again very good, and I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the food. The biggest issue is the customer service and overall management of the dining experience. There is clearly a lot of potential here, but the service needs significant improvement. It's especially disappointing because I originally heard about this place through an employee who works across the street at their other location. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and had a great personality, which gave me high expectations coming here. Unfortunately, the experience at this location did not come close to matching that level of hospitality. I really hope they take this feedback seriously because the food is genuinely amazing. I had a decaf to warm me up - very good - nice sized cup too. My daughter got a beautiful shrimp and corn dish; my son, Buffalo Macaroni and cheese; moi - Mushroom Pappardelle! We all absolutely LOVED our meals aaaand a rare for us dessert - Blueberry Scone .. WOWEE! Homemade whipped cream too. Absolutely delectable!!!
