This food truck has found a nice spot with parking across the street. Has a nice area next to it to sit and eat. Though watch out for the mosquitos at dusk!! The churros were sweet and delicious! Service was friendly. It's a little bit of a wait as they fry up the churros and top them. Excited to try more flavors in the future!

This food truck in South ATX is the perfect sweet treat! The churros were warm and fried crispy. There are lots of different topping choices available. I picked the standard cinnamon, sugar and an apple topped as well. Delicious! The service was speedy. Parking on South Congress is always tricky, but I had no problem finding a spot on a cold Sunday evening.

Best churros in Austin!! Lots of dipping sauce options with seasonal specials that are always delicious and so fun to try. It is a good truck but there is plenty of outdoor seating all the time and the staff are always incredibly friendly. I always try to visit when I get the chance!

I loved the bubbly personality at the window when ordering. So welcoming and cheerful and EXCITED to take our order. Ordered one of the seasonal churros (strawberry shortcake - fresh strawberries and sauce with whip cream ) very yummy and crispy. Also ordered the traditional churro with CBD infusion and Nutella topping . Overall very pleased with the taste and price. Seating is a few picnic tables!

The churros were great! I'm always worried about them being too sweet but they were actually just enough sweetness. We went on an evening that wasn't busy and we got our churros in less than 10 minutes (probably even less than that!) the eating area clean and the area itself it was located it was quiet. I'd definitely go back! We got the s'mores churros and hot cocoa.

Fast and friendly service. Husband and I each tried a different t one. I tried the Texas one and he tried the apple pie one with added ice cream. They were really close in flavor so wish we got a different one with chocolate or something. They were both really good though! Will be back when visiting the area again.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Why? Because I've never had a good churro before in my life, and Churro Co basically said "hold my beer". My wife was told about a s'mores and hot cocoa Facebook event that was going on here where you can buy s'mores and hot cocoa, so that's the original reason why we came. The thought of getting churros never entered my mind until coming here. After seeing someone pickup their order of these giant churros with ice cream on it, I knew I had to try. My wife and I decided on getting churros with some goat milk caramel sauce, and an apple soda float. Let's talk about the churros first: they were fresh, crunchy (but not overly so), and decked out with cinnamon and sugar. Just those by themselves were grade A level. Then add in the caramel and I had no words. Now on to the apple soda float: I was blown away. We all know what root beer floats are by now, so to have something completely different like this was a unique spin that I am super glad I tried. I should also mention the staff was nice too. The guy who took our order seemed friendly and approachable compared to other places I've gone to recently. Ok let's end this review by saying that YES you need to go. I don't care that the place is roughly 20-30 min away from where I live, because I'm going to go back again in the very near future. Thanks Churro Co for making me a churro lover now. One last thing: After eating it all, I stupidly realized that the napkins were up at the front so make sure to grab some to avoid super sticky fingers.

I don't know how I've gone this long without trying Churro Co! Its was the perfect sweet treat. My husband and I split the Campfire, which includes 2 churros, Mexican chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallow, and whipped cream. We also added on a scoop of ice cream. YUM! the perfect end to our date night. We'll definitely be back.

Last night we went to get our sweet tooth fix. The churro was good but a little on the thinner side. I guess I was expecting the churros you get in Mexico which are filled with caramel or a filling which are a bit thicker. But it was still delicious. The service was fast that we had to wait for about 10 mins and sat on the picnic tables. We had to get some ice cream on top of it because it was warm outside. We also tried a hot chocolate which was a cold drink and it was good. We finally tried this place and it was good.

This food truck hit the spot for a late night snack. Of course, they have churros. They also have ice cream. You can get specialty churro snacks. They also have root beer floats. If you want to eat there, they have a small sitting area. I went at 11 PM and it was pretty busy. I ordered just the traditional churros. They were perfection. They had right amount of cinnamon, sugar and crunch. It didn't take long to get my order ready either. It took about five minutes. Parking is limited. Staff was super friendly.

To die for churros!!! Came here on a Weds night at 9:50, right before they closed! I ordered the plain churros per my friend's experience and recommendation -- did not disappoint! These churros are the perfect balance of an outside fried crisp with a soft and fluffy center. I also ordered a salted caramel sauce on the side because I am a sucker for caramel, but honestly did not need it! My only regret was not getting one more order for my boyfriend to enjoy. The churros came out within 6-7 mins as promised and the service was wonderful! I really liked the cute camp style picnic tables and string lights..I would totally come here regularly if I lived in Austin. Definitely add this place to your list if you are visiting Austin! Also, one thing to note that hopefully will save you the trouble that I went through: this is the ONLY location and address. Apple maps shows another location on E 7th, but this is the OLD LOCATION and there is not in fact any churros there! Make sure you come to this location listed here in the yelp :)

i'm so upset. i'm visiting from west coast and have driven 30 mins 3 times to try this place and he last two times i've gotten there the woman said they're sold out. It's a good problem to have but not fair to your customers that are trying to become customers and aren't aware you're out. read more

Very excited to try this place based on the great reviews and pictures. I order the campfire, as I love smore's and added a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Presentation was on point - but the churro was hard. We were given utensils to enjoy this dessert, but were unable to cut through the churros with our plastic knives. I was expecting a soft crispy churro that would melt in my mouth. Fun concept, but missed the mark for me. read more

I came here because of the hype this place got on Yelp. I tried the "Date Night" churros and they were okay. I have had better churros. I'm giving them 3 stars for creativity. The churros I had was too tough on the outside and not enough fluffiness on the inside. The flavors like the salted caramel sauce and salted popcorn coating were innovative. But that's all they got. It's not bad if you're looking for an Instagrammable place. Also this place smells bad cause it's the outdoor. I don't know if it was the soil or what but it wasn't pleasant. read more

Not worth it. Go to Manolis or something. I chose the churro campfire with ice cream. I was expecting a mind-blowing creative combination, instead of something I can make from HEB. Looks pretty though! Parking is hard, I went during the day. The man who took our order made fun of my little sister for being excited. We saved up for this, it hurt my feelings. read more

I love churros, and I love hot apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The Texas Comfort (with added ice cream) perfectly combined these two desserts. The churro was crispy outside and soft inside (and without the cream filling, which I'm not a big fan of). The apple pie filling tasted like it came out of an apple pie, but my girlfriend did say she wished the slices weren't as long. The whipped cream wasn't too heavy and the ice cream was rich. For the price, it's not something you could buy everyday, but it's definitely not a splurge either. read more

Solid $3 churros for 2 basic churros, and $5 for some fancy schmancy ones. We opted for the basic with nutella sauce (50 cents) and it was made fresh (took 5 mins). Superb snack while you're eating your way through Austin. The guy told us each churro was about 6 inches. definitely was closer to 9... :P that's how they do it in Texas. read more

They make this look so good and make it taste even better! No need to describe it too much, warm churros with whatever sauce and vanilla ice cream - basically heavenly. Got the one name CampFire and the marshmallows, graham cracker and brown sugar toppings were THE BEST! Wish they would stay open longer till 10 or 11. Cmon let us appreciate them, give them traffic and help them stay open later. If sugar tastes like this, its worth killing your self slowly with it. (Disclaimer - I intend to go a month with no sugar now so I can regret less when I reward myself with another trip here next month). read more

Wow that's all I can say I got the campers one and OMG. So good, I can't believe how crunchy does churros were. I can't complain, they even have bug spray!! I am just so glad my dad took me there and the combinations they have on the churros are really good. I don't know but that place made my tastes buds jump and dance like no other. All I can say if I could I would do anything so everyone can have a chance to try this churros. read more

The Churros were delicious, fast and hot. Best churro I've ever had. They have a few creative options, so venture out and try something new. The lot has plenty of parking and there are several park benches, if you want to enjoy on-site. I only wish they were open later. Worth the $2-5 price. read more

I have come to Austin for vacation 3 times in 18 months, and the dessert highlight of my previous trips was the Date Night Churro. I stopped by Sunday, May 17 around 8:30pm and they were sold out and returned Wednesday, May 19 at 9pm and they were sold out again. Please make more Churro dough. You have a fantastic product that locals and tourists are feening for. read more

These are the most creative and well thought out churros I have ever seen - they toss the churros in different flavored sugars to complement the toppings: Cardamom Sugar + Apple Pie Topping, Graham Cracker Sugar + S'mores Topping, Popcorn Sugar + Caramel Topping, etc. I have had every churro on the menu and they are all incredible (even the plain churros with chocolate dipping sauce)! I really appreciate how well each component of the churros complement each other - a lot of thought went into every item on the menu. The only issue with this place is that it closes at 9 PM. This would be an excellent after-dinner weekend dessert spot, but I find they close too early for me to make it there after dinner. Otherwise, this place is awesome! There are benches and a few other food trucks to enjoy - definitely a great time when the weather is nice. read more

Definitely a worthy trip to make when you have a sweet tooth craving! I enjoyed the Date Night churro, with its salted caramel and vanilla ice cream combo! The tables provided in the lot with Churro Co. and other food trucks were a bit packed (a great sign of a thriving business or two), so I strolled over near Lady Bird lake, where there are chairs in the dog park and a direct path to the new Austin Boardwalk. Parking is on the minimal side, definitely carpool if you're making this a group outing. All in all, 5 stars (because I found parking pretty quickly lol). read more

I'm in LOVE with churros definitely hit up my local panaderías every Saturday to land a wonderful sugary snack and never miss a churro during my Costco trips. Now back to this little piece of heaven... I went here graduation weekend after having it on my Austin "musts" list. Wow this place is amazing! My mom went with the camp fire and added a scoop of ice cream and I went with the Rico Suave also adding a scoop of ice cream. The Rico Suave consisted of chocolate churros and when I say chocolate folks I mean chocolate in the batter, no syrup or none of that... The REAL DEAL no Holyfield. Also it gets better because the Rico Suave was accompanied with Nutella and strawberry jam. I never finish my desserts completely, but that day I had nothing left and wanted more. Not too much to say about the outside because it was raining when I stopped by, but the table set up was nice. The owners were very friendly and really need to pop a truck up in Houston, I'll be there first customer. In the meantime, I can't wait to be back read more

We had the Texas comfort and the pura vida. Both amazing flavor and crunchy/soft churros! The ice cream was absolutely amazing and different. Oh and also had the cola float. Also amazing. The cherry dust on top was really good!! 5/5!! read more

If you are in the area of East 7th you should stop by for Churros. If you are anywhere in Austin you should make a trip to try Churro Co's creation. If you are visiting Austin for a weekend you should get over to East 7th and try their Churros. Basically get over and try these decadent desserts. The guys who run the truck couldn't be nicer and their passion comes through in the final product. The whole area they are in is brimming with food trucks and the vibe has a great feel to it. Try some BBQ, try some wings, and then finish it off with some of the finest churros you have every enjoyed. Sound like a good day of deliciousness? Of course it does. read more

If anyone knows churros, it's me. Trust me, just look at my Instagram account. The only reason I dont give this place 5 stars is because i've had incredible churros in other cities. However Churros Co. in Austin is without a doubt my favorite dessert stop. Sure I can say the local Mexican grocery store has good Churros filled with authentic fillings, but Churro Co. is different. These churros come with ice cream, torched marshmallows, and made from scratch signature sauces that'll leave you licking your fingers and wanting more. My only complaint is that it can cost you a bit, but it's very difficult to resist all the toppings and signature churros this food truck has to offer. read more

Service is fast/nice here and the churros definitely come out hot/to order but I just wasn't feeling it. The inside of the churro was doughy/almost undercooked despite the crunchy outside. Not a churro connoisseur but I prefer the ones at La Mexicana or Chuy's Panderia over here. I tried the camp fire, and the toppings (whipped cream, marshmallows, graham cracker) are all just store bought from a bag. For $4.50 I guess I expect more but it wasn't bad. read more

Got the smores churro. Added icecream to mine. You can also add bananas or anything else you like. But definitely worth going to. Cost me about $6 and can easily be shared with one other person if you cant handle all that sweetness. Super delicious churros. read more

This place was amazing! I had never heard of it before but wanted something sweet before we headed to Emos for a show. This place hit the nail on the head. This is exactly what I want from a churro. The crispy outside and really soft center. We got the Rico suave. Nutella?! Yes, please. Of course we got ice cream on top because why not? I'm not sure why this place isn't more popular but go try it! I think that one is enough for two people. One order comes with three churros plus all of the toppings. Can't wait for our second try. read more

I've been wanting to come to this place for awhile and boy did it not disappoint. I got the campfire, which is 2 churros drizzled in chocolate sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, graham cracker and toasted marshmallows. I've had churros before but those didn't compare to the quality of these. Parking was a bitch but what else is new in Austin. They are worth the effort. When you have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and check this place out stat! read more

Churro Co. Austin specializes in traditional style Churros with a twist. Crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, tossed in cinnamon sugar and topped with a variety of delicious concoctions. The menu contains rotating dessert variations with generous puddles of Mexican chocolate or caramel sauce (Cajeta) along with a wide range of topping selections from torched marshmallows, to made-from-scratch blackberry sauce, to ice cream. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over. I was hoping to treat my nieces and I to a sweet take-out treat at dinner. I looked at the menu ahead of time on their website and priced out what I would be ordering. I planned to buy 3 of the Traditional Churro orders with Nutella dipping sauce for my two nieces. According to the menu, my total amount of goods purchased would be $10.75 and with Austin sales tax (8.250%), it should total to $11.64. However, when the woman at the counter rung me up, she charged me $15.70. I paused and made a comment about the sales tax being too high and for a moment I tried to do the math in my head. Meanwhile, I went ahead and handed her my card because I HAD to get the churros no matter what (I'd already promised my nieces I'd bring them home to enjoy with dinner) and before I could figure it all out on my phone for peace of mind, she ran the card and closed the sale. I would have appreciated being asked if I would like to receive a receipt (which Square sales offer) because I wanted to double check the order for pricing to see why it was so much higher. But then she just turned the screen around and called on the next customer. I felt a little cheated and unseen, especially after voicing a concern for the high price. The churros were okay--nothing remarkable. I think for another $16 I can get a Churro maker off of Amazon and just make our own at home. So bummed. Ladies and Gents, I don't usually leave reviews unless I'm completely mind-blown. I'm so committed to this place that I practically go every weekend. You can immediately tell they put a lot of love into their dessert. I've tried everything on the menu and I must say that everything is amazing. Probably the best churros I've ever had, and I've had a lot. The plain charros were excellent, very crunchy outside with a study middle, not too greasy and a nice mix of sugar and cinnamon. Had the date night from the specialty menu. It was good, but there was a little too much sea salt and it really overpowered it. I wish they would update their hours when they are not open. I have gone a couple times now and they have always been closed when it says they are suppose to be open. read more

These were so yummy! Loved that we could sit outside and the area was relaxing to just sit and enjoy! They came out super fresh as well as presentation was A+ read more

they are not open and we drove all the way over there to find it closed :( there was no information anywhere about it not being open
