This food truck has found a nice spot with parking across the street. Has a nice area next to it to sit and eat. Though watch out for the mosquitos at dusk!! The churros were sweet and delicious! Service was friendly. It's a little bit of a wait as they fry up the churros and top them. Excited to try more flavors in the future!

This food truck in South ATX is the perfect sweet treat! The churros were warm and fried crispy. There are lots of different topping choices available. I picked the standard cinnamon, sugar and an apple topped as well. Delicious! The service was speedy. Parking on South Congress is always tricky, but I had no problem finding a spot on a cold Sunday evening.

Best churros in Austin!! Lots of dipping sauce options with seasonal specials that are always delicious and so fun to try. It is a good truck but there is plenty of outdoor seating all the time and the staff are always incredibly friendly. I always try to visit when I get the chance!

I loved the bubbly personality at the window when ordering. So welcoming and cheerful and EXCITED to take our order. Ordered one of the seasonal churros (strawberry shortcake - fresh strawberries and sauce with whip cream ) very yummy and crispy. Also ordered the traditional churro with CBD infusion and Nutella topping . Overall very pleased with the taste and price. Seating is a few picnic tables!

The churros were great! I'm always worried about them being too sweet but they were actually just enough sweetness. We went on an evening that wasn't busy and we got our churros in less than 10 minutes (probably even less than that!) the eating area clean and the area itself it was located it was quiet. I'd definitely go back! We got the s'mores churros and hot cocoa.

Fast and friendly service. Husband and I each tried a different t one. I tried the Texas one and he tried the apple pie one with added ice cream. They were really close in flavor so wish we got a different one with chocolate or something. They were both really good though! Will be back when visiting the area again.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Why? Because I've never had a good churro before in my life, and Churro Co basically said "hold my beer". My wife was told about a s'mores and hot cocoa Facebook event that was going on here where you can buy s'mores and hot cocoa, so that's the original reason why we came. The thought of getting churros never entered my mind until coming here. After seeing someone pickup their order of these giant churros with ice cream on it, I knew I had to try. My wife and I decided on getting churros with some goat milk caramel sauce, and an apple soda float. Let's talk about the churros first: they were fresh, crunchy (but not overly so), and decked out with cinnamon and sugar. Just those by themselves were grade A level. Then add in the caramel and I had no words. Now on to the apple soda float: I was blown away. We all know what root beer floats are by now, so to have something completely different like this was a unique spin that I am super glad I tried. I should also mention the staff was nice too. The guy who took our order seemed friendly and approachable compared to other places I've gone to recently. Ok let's end this review by saying that YES you need to go. I don't care that the place is roughly 20-30 min away from where I live, because I'm going to go back again in the very near future. Thanks Churro Co for making me a churro lover now. One last thing: After eating it all, I stupidly realized that the napkins were up at the front so make sure to grab some to avoid super sticky fingers.

I don't know how I've gone this long without trying Churro Co! Its was the perfect sweet treat. My husband and I split the Campfire, which includes 2 churros, Mexican chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallow, and whipped cream. We also added on a scoop of ice cream. YUM! the perfect end to our date night. We'll definitely be back.

Last night we went to get our sweet tooth fix. The churro was good but a little on the thinner side. I guess I was expecting the churros you get in Mexico which are filled with caramel or a filling which are a bit thicker. But it was still delicious. The service was fast that we had to wait for about 10 mins and sat on the picnic tables. We had to get some ice cream on top of it because it was warm outside. We also tried a hot chocolate which was a cold drink and it was good. We finally tried this place and it was good.

This food truck hit the spot for a late night snack. Of course, they have churros. They also have ice cream. You can get specialty churro snacks. They also have root beer floats. If you want to eat there, they have a small sitting area. I went at 11 PM and it was pretty busy. I ordered just the traditional churros. They were perfection. They had right amount of cinnamon, sugar and crunch. It didn't take long to get my order ready either. It took about five minutes. Parking is limited. Staff was super friendly.

To die for churros!!! Came here on a Weds night at 9:50, right before they closed! I ordered the plain churros per my friend's experience and recommendation -- did not disappoint! These churros are the perfect balance of an outside fried crisp with a soft and fluffy center. I also ordered a salted caramel sauce on the side because I am a sucker for caramel, but honestly did not need it! My only regret was not getting one more order for my boyfriend to enjoy. The churros came out within 6-7 mins as promised and the service was wonderful! I really liked the cute camp style picnic tables and string lights..I would totally come here regularly if I lived in Austin. Definitely add this place to your list if you are visiting Austin! Also, one thing to note that hopefully will save you the trouble that I went through: this is the ONLY location and address. Apple maps shows another location on E 7th, but this is the OLD LOCATION and there is not in fact any churros there! Make sure you come to this location listed here in the yelp :)

Good heavens. Churros are not easy to come by, and this is one of the places my boyfriends sister found while looking for a dessert place. I was totally up for it because churros by themselves is good, but I've never really got to eat them with anything else. I got the campfire and one of their special's. Both were sooooooooooo good. I can't even come to explain how I felt when I sunk my teeth into the churros. Definitely a must try if you are in Austin!! read more

Deliii! There's no better way to describe this churros with one word. The churros by themselves reminded me of the ones I used to have when I went to visit my family in Tampico during the summers. I've had other churros here but nothing comes close to this familiar taste, I was not expecting that. They took an authentic Mexican dessert and turned it gourmet without losing its wonderful flavor. I had mine with Nutella sauce and vanilla ice cream and they were sooo good! Julian had the Wake-n-Bake, it felt like a fancy banana split because he ordered it with ice cream. The best thing is that you can go simple with something like mine or go extra with something like Julians and you'll still get something amazing. The guys there are super friendly and a customer told us that the guy handing out the orders has been there every day since he found them a year ago. That for me feels so much more special because that's the way it was back in Mexico, it felt friendly and familiar. 100% recommended! Can't wait to go back to Austin and get something else from their menu. read more

Ok y'all, not going to lie I crave this place on a day-to-day basis. Got the traditional and CampFire. If you're sharing and looking to save money, there was enough sauce and toppings from CampFire to share with the traditional plain one. I liked the toppings but the churros were over cooked in my option. I like them a little softer in the center. Also, the traditional should be filled with custard/cream. read more

My first time to Austin, TX and we ended it on this note! This is by far one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life! I got the campfire s'mores churro and my boyfriend got the comfort apple one. We were blown away. Now we're back in FL craving their churros and the closest thing yelp has for us is Taco Bell.... guess we're moving to Austin! If you're in town, you have got to stop here!! read more

The churros were so crunchy and delicious that even the watery chocolate sauce cannot make me rate anything below 5 stars. They are fresh and made to order, they are hot, they are not soaked in oil, they are y-u-m-m-y. My recommendation to Churro Co: Please serve a thicker, hot chocolate sauce. As Valor does... Excellent churros. I had the Texas Comfort. Churro was perfect- crisp and crunchy on the outside, soft in the center. Add some excellent warm apple pie filling, a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, some whipped cream and a caramel drizzle and you have one of the best treats ever. My wife and I went for the first time this past weekend. We were both pleasantly surprised. Who knew churros could be so good? We got the date night and it was awesome. The guys running the show were super great too. Really friendly and clearly willing to put in the extra effort to make customers happy. We'll definitely head back again soon! Holy churro was this place great! My friends and I went on a lovely Saturday afternoon. We each enjoyed a delicious churro (well 2 because each order comes with a pair)! They were all so delicious (we ordered different ones and tried each other's). We were all impressed with the cajeta (and the churros overall)! Delicious churro.. got the churros with added scope of vanilla ice cream and Nutella chocolate. Not overly sweet with the Nutella so that was good. The churro seem freshly made as it was crispy and not chewy like at a market lol. Price was decent, it was $3 for 2 churro and $1 for 1 scope of ice cream and 50c for a small cup of Nutella. Overall I'm satisfy. I guess price can be a little lower to make it a 5 star lol. read more

I was VERY excited to try this place out but was VERY underwhelmed. Not sure if everybody has had really good churros before but these are not it. My husband and I got 2 regular churros and to be honest, they were small and dainty and tasted kind of burnt. Not to mention at the time that we went, they were not busy at all and we waited 25 min to get two regular churros. The guy working on them..wow, never seen someone work so slow before. Not sure how they would survive if they were actually busy. Very cool environment but would not recommend this place. read more

A wonderful little churro truck with large portions and generous sides of chocolate sauce / Nutella for 50 cents extra. While the churros were a little crispier than I usually like, I did enjoy the cinnamon sugar coating (it really adds texture to Nutella if you eat it separately), and the charming outdoor seating. A must visit if you're in the area and need a quick sugar fix. read more

I absolutely LOVE this company! My siblings, friends, and I are all regulars here. The quality of the product is always amazing, fresh, and delicious. I can honestly say that I have yet to eat any flavor they have put out and Not liked it. They are all sooo good! The owners are so approachable and friendly they will instantly make you feel welcome and valued. One of my guilty pleasures in Austin. You really can't go wrong with any of the churros because they're all amazing. I'd highly recommend adding a scoop of ice cream to anything though. Staff is great and very friendly. I recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth. read more

This place is so good! I come here all the time when I am craving some dessert, and I love how the eating area is open and cute. My favorite thing on the menu has to be the S'mores churro combo! I like how they give it to me warm and I can really taste the S'mores flavors. Also, the extra addition of the ice cream on top is a must! I don't know why, but the ice cream just tastes so so good with the smores, and adds a different kind of sweetness. read more

I keep thinking about these churros three days after I had them. They are so. good. I caught a glimpse if inside the food truck and was able to see the churro being made. It is shaped in a machine and is then fried fresh inside the food truck. I got the traditional churro with Nutella and cajeta dipping sauces. The churro's taste was heavenly... super crunchy and golden on the outside and gooey and warm on the inside. The sugar/cinnamon sprinkled on the churro made the taste extra special. We also ordered the Mexican Iced Mocha (I believe that's what it's called), and it was deliciously creamy. It is a bit heavy on the cinnamon, but I personally loved the taste. They also have a cute mural on the back of the food truck where you can take pictures while you wait for your order. The vibe is super fun, there are even some hoola hoops to use and they encouraged you to "write a letter to stranger." AWESOME food truck that lives up to the hype. read more

I'm a huge fan of places that curate exotic flavors (a vegetable, really?) into their menu, which only increased my opinion of this place. Hill Country Honey & Vanilla Bean (E) - one of the smoothest vanilla bean ice creams I've had. It reminds me of a traditional ice milk soft serve. It wasn't the most impressive vanilla ice cream I've ever had, but it was still very good in its own right. Dark Chocolate, Olive Oil & Sea Salt (E, D) - such a great balance to the sweetness of the rest of the ice cream options. I always love little chunks of salt in sweets to cut through the sugary intensity, so this one was an instant favorite. GOAT Cheese, Thyme, and Honey (E, D) - a complete 100% hit. Probably my top, alongside the beets. My BFF said it tasted too much like a meal rather than a dessert and couldn't give it a high rating, but as a charcuterie fan, I know there are plenty of "dessert" cheeses. I mean... cream cheese, for example? But is that really a cheese...? Uhhh. Very Strawberry (F) - a clean strawberry flavor. A bit artificial, but still so great. It far outweighed the Sweet Cream w. Strawberry flavor we tasted later. Cookies & Cream (F) - I never liked cookies & cream before, but this changed my mind. It hits so hard when you get a full spoonful. Probably the only cookies & cream I would eat. My BFF's #1. Chocolate Chocolate (F) - love chocolate? Get this. That's all you need to know. Coffee & Cream (D) - oooh, reminds me of the keto coffee ice cream I had once. Would get again. Coffee notes are always great in ice cream. Was this a STRONG standout? No. But did it do its job? Yes. I was hoping to treat my nieces and I to a sweet take-out treat at dinner. I looked at the menu ahead of time on their website and priced out what I would be ordering. I planned to buy 3 of the Traditional Churro orders with Nutella dipping sauce for my two nieces. According to the menu, my total amount of goods purchased would be $10.75 and with Austin sales tax (8.250%), it should total to $11.64. However, when the woman at the counter rung me up, she charged me $15.70. I paused and made a comment about the sales tax being too high and for a moment I tried to do the math in my head. Meanwhile, I went ahead and handed her my card because I HAD to get the churros no matter what (I'd already promised my nieces I'd bring them home to enjoy with dinner) and before I could figure it all out on my phone for peace of mind, she ran the card and closed the sale. I would have appreciated being asked if I would like to receive a receipt (which Square sales offer) because I wanted to double check the order for pricing to see why it was so much higher. But then she just turned the screen around and called on the next customer. I felt a little cheated and unseen, especially after voicing a concern for the high price. The churros were okay--nothing remarkable. I think for another $16 I can get a Churro maker off of Amazon and just make our own at home. So bummed. Ladies and Gents, I don't usually leave reviews unless I'm completely mind-blown. I'm so committed to this place that I practically go every weekend. You can immediately tell they put a lot of love into their dessert. I've tried everything on the menu and I must say that everything is amazing. I wish they would update their hours when they are not open. I have gone a couple times now and they have always been closed when it says they are suppose to be open. read more
