We visited this food stand on Sunday, for a chocolate filled churro and fried plantains. Street parking was free and easy right across the street in the afternoon. Service was quick and efficient. They accept credit cards for payment, which is convenient. And outdoor seating was plentiful just outside the Fruitvale Public Market in front of the food stand. The churro and plantains tasted freshly made and delicious, satisfying treats to enjoy in a casual and carefree atmosphere.

There's a sign on the back of the Churros Mexicanos cart that says "Los mejores churros rellenos" (The best filled churros), and the tagline is 100% true! I've been coming here for a while, and the churros are always fresh, hot, delicious, and consistent. They offer both regular churros and churros rellenos--filled with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, or caramel. They're all great, but my favorites are the chocolate-filled churro and the classic unfilled one. They also serve plátanos, but to be honest, I've never tried them because I love the churros too much. I always tell myself I'll give them a shot next time, but the smell of those freshly fried churros gets me every time. The cart is conveniently located near the Fruitvale BART station, with easy parking. The woman who works there is incredibly kind and always so sweet. No matter how busy it gets, she greets everyone with a smile, making the experience even better. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit.

Churros: Im a churros lover and this was FRESH!! They literally fry it right in front of you. And its so cheap! I'd be careful though, its piping hot . But it cools down surprisingly fast. But genuinely is really hot and I bit a few right when they gave it to me and had to toss it like a potato around my mouth to avoid burns. Delicious churros, crunchy and sweet, I'd come back for more. That was just the regular, imagine the other flavors! Extra In a pretty nice Mexican community They accept debit, I gave them my card and they did the paying thing for me. Wait time is fast obv 5/5 churros

Hot, crispy, and delicious. Quick and friendly service. The churro had a great flavor, clean oil, nice dusting of cinnamon sugar on top. Crispy on the outside with a soft interior. Perfect $3 dessert.

Our church catered their churro truck. They were efficient and fast and kept the line moving. Churros were so good. Crispy on the outside. Good and balanced texture on the inside. I got the caramel filling, expecting it to be very sweet. It was perrrrfect! This is probably one of the best churros I've ever had.

Hot and fresh churros with many filling options -strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Each was only $3 and they accept cash and card. This was a sweet treat and would love to get back, definitely check this our as it's made to order and fresh!

We had the plain churro, hot and smothered with cinnamon sugar. It was perfect - proper crunchy exterior, good balance of savory and sweet, and full of texture and flavor. The woman behind the counter is highly competent and very nice. The plantanos was by far the most delicious though! It was served perfectly caramelized and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. Food of the gods! Warning: be careful not to burn your tongue! Everything is *very* fresh from the fryer!

Flavor wise, always excellent. With inflation though, the prices keep rising and the churros are getting smaller for sure. I've been coming since I was a kid and was shocked at the size this last time. Still love this place though. There are other carts as well nearby, but I like this place. They take cash & card.

She was very friendly, full of smiles and efficient!

Made to order, flavorful, a large portion of what became my favorite churros spot in Oakland (no more waiting to enjoy them in Lathrop). I purchased 3 total-caramel and strawberry flavors- whew wee they were so fresh and hot! The parking can be a challenge up close, , but there is plenty in the area, and I'd park around the corner to enjoy this spot! My service was excellent! I'll be back and I'll return!!

I love their caramel filled churro. The chocolate one it's kind of like watery chocolate, but the caramel is the absolute best. Totally worth it.

*Drools* Churro rellenos!! Have you ever had a filled churro? I been missing out all these years. I just had my first ever filled churro and I'm addicted. I always thought Costco churro was delicious but damn this churro cart was even better. It was fresh out the batter and it was filled with your choice of vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. Super cheap, tasty, and fresh! We ordered one regular churro and 2 churro rellenos with chocolate and strawberry. My favorite was the strawberry and it was sooo good! I loved how fresh it was and the filling was not too sweet. It was $2/churro or $2.50/churro rellenos. I recommend ordering a few and you can always save it to eat later in the day or eat it all at the same time cause it's so addicting :) Churro cart is easy to find. It's right outside the market and near Fruitvale Bart Station - so I recommend visiting for a churro if you're stopping/waiting at the Bart. Simple to order and deliciously cheap :)

They were randomly parked I'm Vallejo and we got the churros (original) and loaded potatoes. The food and service was great! Wish they'd be around the area more.

But since then and nowadays they have tougher competition that I prefer to go to over them and recently started to develop a hate and love relationship here. It used to be my die hard go to taco truck. This truck for me makes delicious carnitas burritos and pollo tacos. And a sleeper is the al pastor burrito and suadero tacos. That al pastor isn't made from the trompo but the seasoning and juiciness of their version in the burrito is what makes it one of the best burrito options on there if you haven't tried it. Carnitas burritos is super delicious because you get that nice crispiness of the fried tender pork with the rice, cheese and sour cream. I like to ask for onions, cilantro and tomato in mines for variety and freshness to cut the heaviness of the fats and dairy. Tacos I normally would get or recommend is the Carnitas, Pollo, Cabeza, Suadero, and Asada. Carnitas are as delicious as explained with the burrito. Pollo or known as chicken tacos are super tender and juicy. It's also very flavorful, and one of my favorite chicken tacos to get here because most places don't make chicken very well and are usually very dry. The cabeza is super tender and a great option. Suadero just like the asada is just a better version of the asada cut. It's packed with more flavor and seasoning than the asada and slightly more tender which is why I prefer it to the regular steak. I tend to find the asada more dry and sometimes tough. Recently the pricing doesn't reflect on the fairness of the portion size. $4 tacos but the meats aren't as packed. Felt like they started to skimp because of rising costs but has been happening before then. $15 burrito but the sizing isn't as filling as it used to be. I started to see more rice than meat. They've also started to be very stingy with a huge attitude especially the gentleman that works on the pick up station when asking for extra pickled veggies, limes and salsa. And it happens every time for the past several years now. For example he gave me 2 limes, 4 pieces of sliced pickled carrots, 2 slices of pickled jalapenos, 3 radishes, and 1 rojo salsa for an order of a super burrito and 7 tacos. When I asked for extras the gentleman gave me an attitude and said he already did and won't give more. Only reason I still go here is because it's close to home and if my favorite spots for tacos are closed for the night.

Their truck/tent was always colorful and inviting with friendly workers. My favorite and go-to was the shawarma wrap, which was huge, flavorful and delicious. I also liked their lumpia as a side dish. I just tried them again at the Spring Brews Fest in Todos Santos Plaza today and had to get my OG chicken shawarma wrap- it's literally been years since I had it. The wait was pretty long but expected at peak hours of the event. Although it was still good with the flavorful chicken, fresh produce, and tasty sauces, the wrap was smaller than I remembered and more expensive by a few bucks. The staff was working pretty hard cranking out all the orders so I gotta give them credit for surviving during the pandemic and economic crisis. The menu has some other tempting items like my people's pancit, adobo - I'll have to try their combos and the shawarma fries next time I see them in town!

This is a local business that I stumbled upon one night when I was highly craving tacos. I love how they still have seating despite the weather, rain or shine. If you're pulling up to this place, you're in luck -- because they have the best taco meats in all of Oakland. Whether you go for al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, or lengua-- they are all generously seasoned and rich, with that juicy, well-browned texture that makes each bite memorable. From what I've heard, Oakland locals often praise the quality and depth of the meats, and you can tell they're working with ingredients that stand up to the hype. The corn tortillas hold up beautifully too, as they were charred, warm at the edges. It's laid-back street food at its best--tacos that hit hard on flavor and make you want to come back for another round. They have two trucks, but this one had more people at it, so decided to order from this one. I went with 4 tacos (2 pastor, 2 carnitas) and a super burrito and a can of coke. $36 but my card was charged $39, guessing tax, so lesson learned bring cash. The tacos were pretty good. All the meats were on the sweeter side, but much preferred the carnitas over the pastor. I usually order a super burrito , and what I didn't realize was that a super burrito here means a larger burrito. At first I was like , why is it $20 - then when I got it, it was so massive that it could feed a small family or for me it was multiple meals. The burrito itself was tasty, I thought the carne was good, again a little sweet tasting, but the rice beans and sour cream made the burrito simple yet good. I ate half for one meal, then saved the other for later. Overall, it's one of those spots that I'm glad I tried it, and if I was in the area, I'd try it again.
