We popped in for lunch, there were parties outside waiting but luckily we were able to get seated right away. The dinning area wasn't too loud, however we did pop in during rush hour so everyone looked busy. Once we arrive to the table we were immediately greeted with chips and salsa. The salsa isn't the best but I recommend getting the queso! Our server was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I don't eat meat/chicken so the veggie enchiladas were already calling my name. We went to this location Wednesday April 28, 2026 at 6:44pm. It's sad that two kids maybe 18 years old each are being allowed to run the entire establishment. Specifically, the boy and girl working the hostess stand. We requested a table for two and not a booth. Got on the waiting list and waited patiently for our table to be ready. The female hostess then attempted to seat us in a round booth that would have held 7 persons. When we explained we had specifically requested a table, she and the young gentleman chatted quietly and she then informed us that all the tables were closed and it was a booth or we could go back on the waiting list. However, two tables had customers. They informed us that they didn't have the staff to handle the tables. Neither of the kids could comprehend simply have the waiter that was up for the booth next walk 5 feet and serve us at a table. Neither one had any common sense and could not understand the simple concept. Every booth but one was full. We then informed the hostesses boy and girl that we refused to go back on their waiting list as they suggested if we wanted to eat at a table, that we would simply leave and go to another restaurant. They girl started laughing and said "okay". My question is, why are two young kids being allowed to run a large establishment of such and cause the company to loose revenue?????? No manager anywhere in sight nor was one available. Interesting in that we see these numerous posts on tipping and wait staff not being tip or receiving very little tip. We have always loved the Pork Burrito. It used to be available on the week-ends only but since COVID they haven't put it back on the menu except for a few weeks this spring. It truly is the best thing on the menu and is what kept us returning for years. We suggest that you bring it back just for the week-ends like before. It's 100% TexMex, and good quality and very consistent across 15 years of eating here. The food and the decent price is always worth it. Always a great place to hang out and grab a bite or get the family out! It's run well but also still old school- Sometimes they get busy or make a mistake. You'll be greeted with chips, queso/creamy, and drinks/soda/water quickly. Then if they're busy, just enjoy the relaxed patio or lively inside until the waiter greets you, friendly and efficient. Bam! Just awesome Tex-Mex. All the standard favs. Burritos, enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, and... yes they do have salads with a TexMex flair. I will say the Boom Boom sauce makes anything spicy good without blowing your head off. Many menu options to pick from. Service is attentive without being over the top. Came on a Saturday lunch and there was plenty of space. My favorite appetizer is honestly just their chips and salsa + creamy jalepeno dip. The salsa has some serious kick (which I love) and the creamy jalepeno dip is the absolute best. Drench everything in it. For food, I highly recommend their fajitas. Pro tip: if you don't need the sizzling platter in front of you, their tacos al carbon with fajita beef is the cheaper version. Less tortillas, less sizzle but tastes the same more or less and you get all the accompaniments either way. Very well seasoned. Amazingly, Chuy's prices haven't really changed that much over the years either, so in the current inflation state, great way to take out the family but not break the bank. read more

PLEASE--Avoid this location. Rude, discourteous, unprofessional--and either petty or incapable of counting. If the service at the hostess desk is a precursor to the service at the table--I can't imagine how bad this experience could have been. We left as we were advised they weren't capable of getting a table that could seat 7 adults and a toddler after our 30+ minute wait. Before going to the restaurant, we called ahead to see what wait time was--the online waitlist advised that it couldn't be joined for groups larger than 7. Our party was 7 plus a baby. We were advised at arrival that they just needed to clean a table off and we'd be seated. We waited 30 minutes or so with almost no patrons (maybe 10-15 people, at most) in the restaurant. A separate group of 8 then comes in about 25min after us and is seated almost immediately. The hostess then makes a point to roll her eyes at us when we ask why they were seated prior to us. A 2nd hostess stated they had joined the waitlist online--the same waitlist that wouldn't allow for a party of 7+ to join online. We were then shown to a table that seated 6, located almost directly on top of another party of 6. We asked if this was a mistake (we needed 7 chairs & a highchair spot) and were advised they "didn't have any other options." The place was empty. We realized this situation was only getting worse, so left and ate elsewhere. Try the other Chuy's locations before wasting your time & energy here. We used to enjoy this location--what happened?? Just me again praising Chuy's . I know I have badmouthed them once , but they could have just been having a bad night back then. Used them this month, August 2023. Had a bunch of family and friends in and when that happens and you need food you call someone dependable, close to home, and who offers lots of delicious food. They did not disappoint. The fajitas, two big orders of the mixed, fantastic as usual, the taco package, Delicioso., and their chips to die for. All the sauces and guacamole and extras we all wanted did not go to waste...that's for sure. I can't believe I'm saying this, but after being a regular customer of this chain for over 40 years, I have absolutely no desire to ever eat here again. I appreciate the fact that our waiter took my plate off the ticket and a manager finally came over when we were about to leave, but everything we ate with the exception of the chips, salsa, and creamy jalapeño was barely edible. I've been a line cook for over a decade, and it's glaringly obvious to someone like me when the fryer oil hasn't been changed in a long time. The Baja shrimp tacos tasted of rancid fryer oil and made me feel ill after 2 bites. My dad's relleno was almost black, it was so over-fried, and the beef in my 10 yr old's crispy tacos tasted off. I very politely told the manager about the shrimp, then showed him the relleno and asked if he would send that out if he was working expo, and he kinda sheepishly said no. They offered to redo my tacos with grilled shrimp instead, but at that point my stomach was starting to hurt and I didn't want to eat anything else, so they did take it off the ticket. We've been going to Chuy's since the early 80's when they opened, and I told him that I honestly didn't have any desire to ever go back. I know what it's like to work at a failing restaurant, and I know how much that sucks, so I genuinely feel for our server and that manager, but... Damn, yall. F* Darden for trashing this beloved local chain of restaurants. It used to be one of the first places I'd recommend to everyone, and I can't in good conscience recommend it any more. The irony is that I'm currently between jobs and was considering applying after seeing the signs posted inside... before the food came. The food was also average. I ordered a Cobb salad since I was saving room for bbq that night. No wonder this place is highly rated and it should be. I'm from California where Mexican food is abundant but THIS does not exist in California.. and I mean the boldness of taste in the tomatillo sauce on top of the enchilada together with the perfectly stewed beans and the soft rice. The portion was perfect and they also provided a bag of free super fresh chips. What's more is is the salsa. You can pretty much imagine the tomato having sliced esp for this particular bag of chips. Chuy's is also generous with their portion of chips (probably twice or thrice the amount of chips you would get from Chipotle in CA). The only downside I have is the dryness of the chicken but the tomatillo sauce covers for it. The ones taking the orders were very attentive to their guests so that's definitely a plus. We recently had faquitas, tacos, and enchiladas and all 5 of us were totally disappointed. Some dishes were cold, others had little meat, or overcooked meat, etc. Service was slow and they forgot to bring us several items. It was also difficult to get the attention of the waitress or any waiter or waitress.
