We had a very disappointing experience here. My husband and I came in last night for a later snack (8:30 pm) and sat at the bar. It took some time to get a beverage (we had to wave one of the bartenders down) and then took quite a long time for one of them to take our order. We ordered the Panacho's; which are their nachos with chicken added. It took over 30 minutes to get them and that's where even more disappointment happens. The nachos must have been in a high oven the entire time we were waiting because they were so overbaked, they were dry and the chips were dark brown. Place was dirty, food was a 2/10 and it took forever to come out. They have a ridiculous online payment system that absolutely does not work. I tried to pay using the system, and left. Apparently my payment didn't go through, easily a misunderstanding. But they sent a very rude and obnoxious waitress out to follow us, berate us and yell at us, claiming that we were trying to "steal drinks", saying "I bet you thought you were real cool" and "somebody better pay for it". We were really looking forward to dining here.... the experience was slightly below average. We expected service to be slow, that's true in most restaurants now days, what we didn't expect was to wait 20 minutes for chips & dip to be served. We ordered, food came out in reasonable amount of time, unfortunately my order was wrong. Another wait .... I have been to Chuy's in other States and love the food. They have the freshest salsa and the creamy jalapeño sauce is fantastic. I stopped in this store on a work trip and sat at the bar. They were busy but well staffed and the bartenders very friendly. I had a few beers and got the Mexi Cobb salad to go, very good and fresh. Stop in and try this place out if your looking for fresh Mexican food and a great atmosphere. read more

Well... we had a bad experience here and the manager called and sent us a free two dinner coupon. I was happy with this and we decided to give it ago once more. What we got, once again, were two entrees containing dry meat, hard tortillas and spotty beans and rice. On top of that, the piece of Tres Leches cake had GARLIC on the back side of the dessert. Garlic. I will always give a new joint the benefit of the doubt, but come on. I guess that apparently to go dinners here are cardboard-y and dry. We like Chuy's, typically. But they have one strike left and we're not sure we want to give them the opportunity to strike out. I'm pretty much a shut in since Covid hit. I am jonesing to eat in a restaurant and go to a movie. I have eaten at the Cool Springs Chuys since it opened and have always received great service and delicious food. Dinner at the Brentwood Chuys was not good. I ordered quesadillas; the tortillas were hard, cold and the filling was all onions and very little cheese. I sent them back and ordered soft chicken tacos. Again, the tortilla were cold and hard, chicken was ok. I asked for no beans on my plate; I got beans and they were all over the rice, so I couldn't eat the rice. Our server, Evan, was unconcerned and seemed to find my displeasure amusing. Management was nowhere to be found. read more

Too bad you can't give 0 stars. Waitress did not care. She just wanted to operate on her schedule, not the customers. I am allergic to cilantro and she assured me that the sauce did not have it even though it was listed on the menu. Her response when I pointed it out was " I guess I never noticed". I was really disappointed in the service this evening. Food is always consistent, but the service sucked. My husband and I had a planned date as we have a small baby and we had 1 hour to ourselves this evening. We were looking forward to having some time together to get Chuy's, which rarely happens. Just puts such a damper on what should be a good experience. Server didn't check on us. Our drinks were never refilled, and she came back only once after the food was dropped off to ask about the check. Just felt rushed and like we were an inconvenience to her. Tonight may have been my last visit to Chuys Brentwood. Our family dined at Chuys Cool Spreings for a number of years and anxiously awaited the opening of Chuys Brentwood . Sadly, tonight, may have been my last visit. While the food and the service was fine, management failed to acknowledge a large group of 10 children sitting behind us ( & next to the table of parents). The parents refused to acknowledge or discipline the children for their disruptive behavior. We (nor our server, nor the table beside us) could not hear one another to engage in normal conversation. My table (and the patrons in my area) continued to look over our shoulders at the children, their parents, and at one another, waiting for someone to intervene to end the children's poor behavior. They screamed, they yelled, they squealed, and they threw food onto the ceiling all while the parents refused to acknowledge the situation. When it was called to management's attention, all they could do was offer our choice of dessert. It was too late. No one in our area wanted to stay for dessert. We just wanted to get our food and get out as quickly as possible. No discount was given on the food to offset our poor experience. read more

We have been to this Chuy's twice now and both times have been treated poorly by the staff. A male host was extremely rude the first time, but the waiter was attentive. The second time, our waiter in the bar area was the rudest waiter we have ever encountered. He didn't introduce himself so we didn't know his name. We asked for creamy jalapeño dip twice and he never brought it, but brought it to other people around us. Overheard the lady next to us say "we have this guy every time we come here and he is so f------ rude". After being ignored a few more times, we left. read more

Happy hour highly recommend - great frozen Margaritas. Ranch sauce is great. Severely understaffed but our waitress managed well.
