Really disappointed with this restaurant, came in today to have lunch and it took forever to get service. First someone else brought us our silverware,( over 2 minutes into being sat) later about another 3-4 minutes our server takes another table order. Still not greeted at this point. They get food, than, we get greeted, over 10 minutes there and all we got was chips and dip. I'm a former sever and this really pissed me off! The icing on the cake? Another table is sat and the server wasted no time in greeting them with a smile avec chips and dip and silverware in hand, all well within the recommended time for greeting a new table. Really!!!!! I've been here four times now, and the service and food have been phenomenal each time! The salsa is fresh, and the creamy jalapeño dip is great. I've tried their oven roasted chicken, steak, and beef "as big as your face" burrito. They were good, but I have to say the steak was my favorite. I'm having a really hard time rating Chuy's. The service was excellent and I wish I could remember her name. It was a packed house and a packed parking lot. The noise in the restaurant was very high and it was hard to have a conversation. The jalapeno ranch dip was in-freakin-creadible. I could drink that stuff. I ordered one of the burritos and it was really good, but I am SO glad that I asked for the sauce to come on the side instead of on top of it. The sauce was spicier than anything I've ever had. And I usually can tolerate spicy. I guess the food just wasn't different enough for me. When you take away all the crazy decorations and any other distractions, it's just a regular Tex-Mex restaurant with really spicy sauces. Maybe I'll go back after the hype has died down and they aren't so packed and loud. We'll see. I'm giving them four stars because of the service and the great jalapeno dip! read more

I have tried Chuy's several times now and I just don't understand the hype. All my coworkers love to go and I REFUSE now. The wait is ridiculous and the food honestly is lacking. The jalapeno ranch is pretty tasty and the tres leches cake. However if I eat ANYTHING else, I will be almost immediately sick. And I have a strong stomach. Love real spicy Mexican food and I can not handle whatever they make. It's so overcrowded and LOUD. read more

Great place for Iced Salad and a server / manager who couldn't give two shakes tamale about your experience. The service was fast, but the quality was low. If there was some apology or attempt to resolve the situation I'd have felt better about it. Instead they run off with your barely eaten ice laden salad and charge you for it. The worst part is that the taco salad shell had sogged to the point it fell apart on the plate and sent the ice everywhere. I ate here for the first time Saturday night. I was not impressed at all. Food came out cold, and they remade me a dish and it came out cold the second time!?! I asked that they take it off the bill, and they did. Was with a group of family members and we all got charged for the wrong order, wrong orders came to the table, two dinners were stone cold. What a fiasco! Will not go back. Discussed problems with manager and I really think he could've cared less. Again......won't be back to this establishment. read more

Good for tex-mex. I ate with my husband's family so I was able to sample a lot of dishes. We tried the combo fajitas, cheese enchilada, chuychanga, and the chicka boom boom thing. The chuychanga was the best thing. The tortillas are really good and the cheese enchilada tasted very good, too. The only disappointing thing about the evening was the service. I really wanted to like this place. It definitely has neat decor and a lot of hype going for it.. However the food is not that good at all. I work close by and have tried it out several times. I don't think it is worth the steep price tag. Lots of other tex-mex options around that are cheaper and better. read more

I love Chuy's in other towns; but the Little Rock location has horrible service. It has progressively declined over the last year. Obviously there is a problem with management in this location. Be ready for a long wait, a rude attitude and management that does not put its customers first. read more

This was my second time to eat here. The first was a good experience so i picked it for an anniversary dinner. There was no wait to be seated and it was not that busy but we were seated in the bar area. They really should ask if that is okay. The atmosphere was way too loud. The people working at the bar were loud. It was hard to talk to my husband sitting right across from me and really the place was not busy. I ordered a taco salad with ground sirloin. The portion was huge. The food came out quickly. The salad was big chunky pieces of very dark green lettuce with radish and carrots....I prefer shredded lettuce for my taco salads. The ground sirloin had a taste I did not like. My husband had the custom enchiladas....one ground sirloin and one cheese. He said he preferred the cheese. Overall the food was not that great. The service was fast but sloppy. Our waitress brought us the wrong check twice. I don't think we will be coming back. read more

My husband and I went to Chuy's Tuesday night. He had been before and enjoyed, so he wanted me to go. Well the service was great even the wait was only 10 mins. I ordered the appetizer platter and I didn't eat everything. Once I finished I felt terribly ill. I don't know what caused it, but I will not go back. My third time here and the food was great. Our server not so much. it was a busy night and I understand that but she didn't listen to us from the start. Almost didn't take the order from one of our party of 4 and any time we asked for anything she had to be asked for it multiple times. Came here with some girlfriends after work. Very noisy atmosphere and busy. Waited about an hour for a table and while waiting had a couple drinks at the bar. The mango margarita was passable, but light on the alcohol. The mojito was far better and very refreshing. We also had an order of guac, it tasted bland and was expensive considering that half the dish was filled with lettuce. Had the grilled fish tacos which were pretty darn good and well seasoned. The portions are very large. One order can feed 2 people. Restaurant is very busy but seating is usually pretty fast. The service staff handled their jobs with ease and were very prompt.I will continue to visit this establishment. Great job! read more

I just want to brag on the lunch crew today at Chuy's. They are amazing. I took a high school group in today after an event for lunch. Lacrista and Greg were so kind and gracious. They accommodated our large group as easily as they would have a small group. Thank you so very much for making our visit fantastic! The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Best Tex mex in the works!!!! Big as yo face chicken burrito with hatch green chili sauce and creamy jalapeño

We love Mexican food and me - a good margarita. So after rave reviews from friends and family members, we had to try it. The atmosphere was great. We had a sweet waitress, but our food was on the bland side. More specifically, my margarita was lacking in flavor. I was told by our waitress that they don't use mixer, but real lime juice and simple sugar. They need to squeeze some more limes then. It was not good - watery. An extra shot was offered, but that's not what was missing. Husband was disappointed they don't have any draft beer, only bottles. My burrito was huge. However, it had way more refried beans than ground sirlion. Long story short, we were disappointed. I said I'd give it a 6.5. My husband a 5 and our daughter said, "Less than that." Her chicken strips tasted like they were fried at the fair ... oil used over and over. I was told the new NLR Chuys' food is better than WLR. Maybe so, but we will likely won't find out. However, we did like their pico salsa, thin chips and green chile rice. read more
