Went during opening week and as expected it was very busy. However the hostess greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. While we waited we enjoyed some chips and salsa that were in the bar. Salsa was homemade,fresh,and had just the right amount of heat for my tastes. Salsa was heavy on the cilantro. They have a full bar but no draft beer, only bottles. As we were seated we walked past the windowed area where they prepare and cooked the fresh tortilla shells., which was neat to see and I thought a nice feature. Decor was busy and interesting....lots of pictures and items on the walls. The ceiling was covered in hubcaps in one room. The chairs reminded me of chairs you would see in a 50s diner, which I thought were a little out of place. However it fit with the "anything goes" decor, which is their style. Waiter was friendly and attentive, which pleasantly surprised me considering how busy they were. Food arrived in a timely matter and was delicious. We had the chicka chicka boom boom which was terrific. Came with jalepenos on the side, but it was sufficiently spicy without them. Food had great flavor and nice heat. Chuy's is the best eating option in the Hamilton Town Center. Its amazing. Great Service as well as great scenery, the decor inside the restaurant is very unique, its like an art gallery. The service is also exceptional. Multiple refills on drinks and chips and salsa, in a timely manner as well. Very personable waiter as well, very funny and kind. I recently went with my mother, sister, and father. We all left very satisfied with our meals! OK food with an interesting atmosphere. Hit or miss with the service, guy in the bar appeared to hate his job, but our waitress in the restaurant was great! I do find it funny that they give you silverware with 3 common dinner prayers, however I was told that the employees are not allowed to wish you a Merry Christmas. What's the world coming to? We enjoy Chuy's! My husband is Mexican and tends to not like many Mexican restaurants here in Indiana (they don't compare to the Mexican food you can get in his home state, they really don't), but he likes this place because it's tex-mex, they aren't trying to be authentic. I love the chili rellenos and enchiladas. The fajitas are also tasty and the homemade tortillas are delicious. I'm a big fan of the creamy jalapeño sauce which they have started delivering with chips and salsa. When the place is busy, there can be a wait. I was visiting my sister in Noblesville and she suggested we go to Chuy's. They had a bright fun family friendly atmosphere. The chips and salsa were fresh which I loved. I ordered the chicka chicka boom boom which is spicy chicken enchiladas. The sauce was good but not enough of it, kind of dry on the inside. The rice and beans were average. I chose to celebrate my birthday by sharing a meal with my husband. We have only been here one other time. During our last visit they had free chips that was brought to us along with bean dip, and cheese dip. We were told during our last visit that it didn't cost. This time however it cost. We were not told that by our waitress that it cost. So the meal that should have cost $10 & change plus tax wound up costing $27 & change. My husband went and spoke politely to the manger. He explained that we were not made aware that the condiments for the chips cost as it was free the last time we went there. He also let the manager know that it was my birthday. The manager yes it cost then he walked away. My husband came back to the table to let me know. I asked to speak to the manager. I was nice explained that it is my birthday that we came in with a set amount to spend. I let him know that we were not told that the condiments cost. He said that he spoke to the waitress and she told him that she did inform us. I said no she asked if we would like the bean and cheese dip for the chips and we said yes. Not once did she mention that there was a charge. I told him had she of said that it cost we wouldn't have got it. He was very rude. He said now you know. I will take $8 off this time only. Honestly, the best thing about this place is the alcohol. I'm not a big drinker, but for pre-gaming before a concert at Klipsch, this is probably your best bet. The coronaritas are awesome. The food, not so much. I can't help it. I'm a complete Mexican food snob and I go for the authentic real hole in the wall places over a chain any day. This place reminded me of On the Border, which I'm not really a fan of. The food was just ok, but I ordered off the Green Chile special menu and the food was so spicy I could barely eat it. I had to cover it in sour cream. I cook with green chiles all the time, but only use the mild kind. Service was fine and we got right in at 6pm on a Saturday night, even with a concert going on that night. My friends said the nachos are really good. I'm just not a big Tex-Mex fan. read more

I can't say that we were super impressed by our lunch. Usually there is a long wait for a table at dinner time so we were happy to get seated quickly for lunch. Our server was prompt and friendly but we weren't super happy with the food. Their coke products are flat, I tried several. The chips and tortillas were fresh and tasted homemade. Aside from that everything else was pretty standard. Chicken tacos were boring and my rice and beans weren't fresh. My fiancé likes her enchiladas but wasn't a fan of the plain rice and beans either. I still don't understand why these Mexican restaurants charge at least a dollar for a scope of sour cream? Drives me nuts. Overall we weren't impressed enough to spend 30$ on lunch again. read more

The enchilada was alright, sauce that was over the top of it had flavor but no spice. Ground beef in taco lacked any seasoning and fact that do not have salsa did not help. Your only thing close is the pico de gallo which has no spice. I think my biggest let down is NO SALSA... Good Tex Mex spot that's a bit pricier than similar restaurants. It's usually busy so be prepared to wait if you dine in. My family usually does take out and I love that they have dedicated parking spaces for take out orders for which they'll bring out your order to you. I called in a to go order and my experience was not the greatest. My order was ready upon arrival, but the young lady who cashed me out seemed a little out of it. She provided me with the amount, I gave her cash, she handed me a receipt. That was it. I had to walk over to another counter to get my bag, as she didn't hand it to me, nor did she put napkins or silverware in it. I paid about $15 for veggie enchiladas, which I thought were overpriced for the quality. I've been to Chuy's 4 times and 3 of them they screwed up my order. Their margaritas are average, very expensive and small. The only nice thing about this place is the free dip and chips during happy hour. I've only gone back because others wanted to go there. i came here a while back when shopping in Indy. my dad and i came at a weird time, so the place was empty aside from about two other people. the chips are awesome. they're bigger than your average tortilla chips. i also really loved their salsa, and i'm not even a huge salsa person. i ordered the chicken fajitas. the portions aren't super huge, so finished it all. it wasn't the best i've had, but it wasn't bad. their guacamole was pretty good as well. our waiter was attentive and checked on us multiple times. overall i recommend and i'll probably visit again. read more

My first visit to this chain restaurant from Texas after hearing rave reviews. It's my 7y/o nephew's new fave (though that changes with the wind). Make no mistake, this is not a Mexican restaurant. Rather, it's authentic Tex-Mex, a style to which Chili's and others strive (they even have Shiner Bock beer nestled among the Mexican options) . This is bonafide chile lovers cuisine; the real deal. It's unpretentious tables with vinyl upholstered chairs resemble kitchen sets from the 50s. A 10 minute wait but responsibly handled and quick delivery of chips, salsa fresca, waters, appetizer and drinks to soldier us through the wait for food as it was really busy today. The queso dip is A large rich and flavorful portion served with warm corn tortilla chips. Hatch chiles were just spicy enough to make a pork filling and house made sauce beg for a lime and some fat to cool the heat. Chicken stuffed Fat Boy enchilada was a cooler counterpoint in a well flavored masa wrap. Both items were nicely balanced with excellent lime rice and creamy refried beans. Tami, this her second visit, reprised the soft chicken tacos of her first. Sauces and tortillas made fresh daily. If anything disappointed, it was the too mild roasted chiles offered as a side.
