First time at Chuy's! Great place to pull off the road and rest, eat up and enjoy. The music and decorations give it a fun and lively atmosphere. Chips are served with salsa which is like our homemade and the ranch dip has a nice kick. We loved it and quickly got addicted. Steak burrito was just flavorful steak and cheese. Wonderful! And it's awful for what it is.. two completely identical, DEEP fried from frozen chile rellenos are quite an alarming spectacle to behold, if I'm being honest. My fiance had steak tacos and he said they were cold. The steak was NOT from a freshly made steak; it was like the pre-sliced cuts of meat you get for salads and such. The person behind us also got tacos and theirs were out less than 5 mins after they ordered. Big red flag, especially the server saying, "look how quick that was!" We won't be back. Sad to report the chip police is still in full effect with carry out orders. We ordered family nacho kit to go and added a queso appetizer and they tried to send us home with one bag of chips. Two separate items that come with chips. It's not rocket science here. They tried to argue as usual but this time we stood our ground and they went and got us another bag. Even beyond the fact it's two separate items that come with chips if you were dining in you could get 30 refills on chips at no extra charge so why argue with your carry out patrons. I've visited Chuy's in Ohio so when I saw a location not too far from my hotel I decided it was a good lunch option. I sat at the bar and the bartender immediately brought me over chips with pico and jalapeño salsa. I ordered the deluxe chicken enchiladas with Spanish rice and refried beans. Service and food is great but the margaritas don't have much alcohol in them. Normally Mexican restaurants have good margaritas that have a good buzz too them. The ones at Chuy's were weak. First I have to say - Chuy's get's me. They could have a million things on the menu and they would all be yummy. But they n arrowed their menu down a bit and included a few new things and wow did they do an incredible job. The shorter menu has been around for a short time - but it is not the only reason I continue to go back. I go to the location in front of the mall in Noblesbville - Hamilton Town Center. And it is a hopping place - always has a crowd. But one time my wife and I chose to sit in the bar area to watch some sports while we ate. What we got was the most incredible service from the man behind the bar. Earl - who seems to be always there working when we show up is the GOAT of service providers. He's a busy bartender. But he is an incredible person for getting your order and keeping you happy with chips and drinks. When we go back - each time we go back - we go out of our way to sit in the bar because Earl is there. But the food...? Wow - I tried this burrito bowl which was a new item for me. Gees - such a great mix of flavors - I think it comes as CHicken or Beef or both. I had both and I was blown away. It was served up hot and showed up quick. It's about 12 bucks and worth every penny. The management in the Noblesville location should take note that your operation is a clean, efficient and happy place. The food is great, the service especially from Earl is the very best and it was notable how happy employees were interacting with each other. You are doing all the right things. Kudos! read more

As someone who spent many years working in the restraunt industry. I'm fairly forgiving. Wide and I went before doing some shopping in the area. I ordered a steak fajita burrito. It arrived to the table cool, the steak in the burrito tasted and had a texture akin to wet dog or cat food. I took one bite that I was barely able to swallow and sent it back. I cannot remember sending a dish back in at least 15 years. They offered to remake it or to order something else, but I had no appetite at that point. Wife's was decent enough chicken burrito with queso but nothing to write home about. Seems there was a change in ownership of this chain and that might explain the quality issue. We used to love eating at Chuy's, but they sold out to Darden Restaurants in 2024, and evidently implemented cost cutting measures that now make their food as gross as Olive Garden and Darden's other restaurants. In the before-times, Chuy's had great chile rellenos, but even they are greasy and gross now. When we went, they had most of the dining room shut down, so we were all crammed in one section with no breathing room. (I'm more understanding about being seated so close that it's hard to move your chair when they're busy and full, but most of the dining room was blocked off, and it was not closing time.) Our server was rude and kept telling me I probably wanted a different sauce than what I was trying to order. Then, after our food was dropped off, we didn't really see her again until she came back with the check. This was our second visit since their acquisition, and the time before wasn't any better. The girls also love Baja Shrimp Tacos (13.69), which come with rice and beans. It seems a tad expensive to me for what you get, so I tend to mix it up by trying something different each time I go. It's generally a consistent experience, now that we have gotten further away from the changes of Covid. Although their prices have definitely escalated like everywhere these days. I LOVE CHUY'S! it is such a cute restaurant and I have been coming here for such a long time. The bar is my favorite place to sit (probably because they have millions of photos of dogs that customers bring in). It is vibrant and just all around a great atmosphere. I get the chicken tortilla soup, every. single. time. It never disappoints. It's the best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had. It's so broth-y, there's a ton of yummy cheese in it, shredded chicken, and delicious veggies all with so much flavor. Could eat it every day. I also get the house marg! The last couple times it's been iffy (too sour for my liking) but still a great option. I will probably try the skinny marg next time. Saving the best for last, their chips and the jalapeño ranch. I found my new favorite Tex-Mex Restaurant! The best chips and salsa I've had. The chips are so light and crunchy. The salsa was super flavorful and you get a creamy jalapeño sauce with them too! This was my first time going into a Chuy's. The decor is really cute - very Cuban/Miami-ish. We were sat quickly on a Saturday evening. Service was a tiny bit slow for my liking but wasn't anything awful. The menu was surprisingly small. We got queso with beef. It was really good but the chips were a little thin and had many broken pieces. For dinner I ordered an enchilada meal and my friend ordered the tostada appetizer dish. The enchiladas were ok but it was as if the tortillas were served cold around the filling so they were very non-authentic. I did like the rice and beans. I tried Chuy's for the first time this past weekend and would overall say I had a decent experience. Parking at this location is a little crazy, but thankfully there is extra space behind the restaurant in Total Wine's parking lot. When we arrived, we were told there was a 20 minute wait or that there was open seating in the bar. We opted for the latter. Service in the bar can be questionable at some places, but I have no complaints on the service we had. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner and food was served quickly. Chuy's food is definitely based on a preference of the type of Mexican food you enjoy. Their chips are light and crispy, no complaints there. Their salsa on the other hand is very sweet and watery to the point that I just skipped it in general after the first taste. The creamy jalapeno dipping sauce was a nice surprise though! It had a subtle hint of spice that complimented the salty chips. We also ordered the queso and it was decent, but almost tasted more like a soup than a dipping sauce. Their entrees come with a ton of food, so come hungry. There were hits and misses on the plate, but we both felt overall that most of the food just was lacking in spice and overall seasoning. If you are considering trying Chuy's make sure you go in with the expectations of having general tex-mex style food. read more

It's located in the Hamilton town center. Driving into the shopping center, you can't miss it. Parking is very convenient. Walking into the restaurant on Monday we were able get seats right away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. After you get seated waitress brought out chips and salsa. I must say their salsa is excellent. I had chicken fajitas and my hubby had what's called Panchos. They were all good. Oh yeah in the middle of the restaurant there was a cooking section. An old lady inside a clear glass, I was able to see her cooking flour tortillas. I thought it was cool. I've noticed tables were getting disinfected between customers. Silverware is packaged individually so you can use it safely. Overall experience was good tonight. read more
