The red hot salsa was a different consistency and taste and so was the jalapeno ranch. I didn't even eat it, the taste was so off I just threw it away. I asked the bigger Hispanic lady that is always there for cilantro for my bowl, and she made a face and told me they were all out of it. I expected her to go to the back and get some more like every other restaurant does but I let it go. However my boyfriend who was behind me in line received cilantro. Which means they were not out, she simply was too lazy to walk 10 feet to grab some for me. Mind you, there was NO one behind us in line and it was not busy. Pretty busy for a weekday lunch. It's a build-your-own entree kinda place . Choose from tacos, burritos, bowls, or nachos. They have a lot of meat protein options and veggie topping options. The veggie toppings weren't as fresh. The food was just okay, nothing outstanding. They put the burrito on the flat top for a bit of toast. The medium red sauce added a much needed flavor to the burrito. Chips that came with the order were good, not oily. Their spicy salsa is very spicy. Parking is pretty limited, as it's in a shared small space with other businesses and eateries. read more

I love this little strip mall find, I just wish they were open more days and hours! This used to be a once a week staple for me and now I'm lucky to have our schedules align once every couple months. Checked it out for lunch, burritos are really good, you get more meat than Chipotle, Qdoba, Moe's, at around the same or better price. Free chips too with their delicious jalapeno ranch(tastes like Chuys creamy jalapeno didip. It was pretty busy but didn't take that long for 2 burritos, maybe 10 minutes. They also have more options like refried beans and different cheeses. Had it to go but the interior seemed like a fine place to eat a giant burrito and drink a beer. read more

Luckily a friend recommended Burritos & Beer to me a few months and I have never had bad take out Mexican since! Burritos & Beer has so many options to choose from and all of their food is made to order. This is a constant go to place for me and family as we LOVE Mexican food. Their burrito game is STRONG!! Putting chain restaurants to shame since opening their doors, this local gem serves up deliciously grande portions of authentic Mexican grub. I feel like i did a bad order and will definitely go back and update my review in the future. I'm moving to fishers in a few weeks and my new house is across the street from burritos and beer. I felt compelled to check it out to see if it would be my go to spot once I moved. The set up is similar to Qdoba and chipotle where you pick the toppings for your burrito. Few things I loved: the jalapeño ranch is a show stopper for sure. Get an order on the side to dip some chips into to. They grill the burrito after they put it together- very nice touch. Really good sized portions as well. They have an expansive menu featuring pork, steak, chicken, al pastor and a few more exotic offerings. I went pretty simple since it was my first time. Went with standard chicken burrito with white rice, queso and spicy green salsa. I thought the queso was below average in terms of queso. The white rice was also definitely not the smart choice. Should have gone with the Mexican rice. Everything was fine, but I'd prefer chipotle or Qdoba. Again, I feel like my average experience was due to my poor ordering skills. Next time I go, I'll be more bold in my selection. read more

Pretty good food! And, it's available for GrubHub delivery! There are tons of options here and customization for your entrees. They have tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and burritos, with several types of meat and toppings. I got the carne asada tacos. They do not come with chips, so I ordered a side of chips and queso. I added pico, cheese, cilantro, lime juice and verde salsa. The green salsa has a kick to it, so beware if you are not into jalapeño. This was a solid combination and added a lot of flavor to my meal. The queso blanco dip was also superb. Very creamy, and definitely had a little kick to it (not spicy at all) to add depth to the cheese. The chips are served hot as well. They have lots of drink options to go with the meal. read more

If you have ever thought, like me, "I really like Chipotle even if the food is a little bland" then you will love Burritos and Beer. It's a more flavorful, spicier version of Chipotle. The ingredients are good quality, fresh and hot. The rice tasted freshly prepared and was quite good. At other quick-serve burrito places I am often disappointed with the rice, as it tastes old, flavorless and dry. But here the rice was delicious and added to the tastiness of my burrito. The veggies were perfectly prepared: slightly crispy and full of flavor. No limp, overcooked veggies here! The guac was quite good but had a slightly overpowering lime flavor. The mixed cheese was a great addition to my veggie burrito. I added onions and tomatoes, and the superb jalapeño ranch sauce. Then my burrito was grilled, which is a unique touch. I also got a side of the jalapeño ranch for my chips. That stuff is so addictive that I could drink it with a straw. What a find! I will definitely be a regular here. read more

First timer! Was a bit difficult to spot at first in the strip mall, but there is plenty of parking! Once entering, there is a menu board immediately to the left, and you order at the end of the counter closest to the door, then pay at register once your meal is built. Lots of options for protein, and several options for salsa, cheese, and other toppings. I had the taco salad, and my bowl was made perfectly to order. There are a few beer options and fountain drinks available, too. There is indoor seating, or meals can be ordered for carry out. Meals are greatly priced (~$10/person). I was all set to call shenanigans on a previous reviewer's claim that this place has burritos that are on par with the ones you find on the West Coast. Fortunately for everyone, I can't pooh-pooh Burritos & Beer, because this place is the $&%#. Let me tell you how to order a good burrito, though, because you can't be trusted to do it without futzing it up. There are way too many options, and you're likely to add sour cream or queso and ruin everything: 1. They will ask you what kind of rice you want, and you will say white. 2. They will ask you what kind of beans you want, and you will say refried. 3. Your only two options now are vegetarian or carnitas. a) If you choose vegetarian, add mixed cheese to your burrito, and THAT'S IT. Stop right there. b) If you choose carnitas, then they will add a hot, juicy, heaping pile of shredded pork, and you will smile inside because that is what carnitas are supposed to look like: shredded and juicy. They will ask you if you want anything else on your carnitas burrito, and you will say mixed cheese and pico de gallo, and THAT'S IT. Have them wrap up your burrito quickly before you go crazy and ask for corn or guacamole or some other thing that doesn't belong in a burrito. There -- now you know how to order a good burrito from Burritos & Beer. Go forth and be happy. read more

Used to love this place until they decided to have inconsistency. They change their hours on a regular basis and give smaller servings. I drove out of my way to eat here only to find they were closed even though their hours online and on the door said they're open. Good food, terrible service.
