Horrible, and I'm a fan of Chuy's. Ordered through Door Dash. Food was warm and packaged well so this isn't a complaint on delivery, it's a complaint on quality. Boom boom enchiladas were literally bland boiled chicken wrapped in tortillas and smothered with sauce (usually good enough but it was so bad it couldn't make up for it). That's it. A child could make better food. Choked it down (dry, bland food and all) because I was hungry and wanted to go to bed. You should be embarrassed. Terrible. read more

We are locals and have been to this location several times. Usually the service is great. We went on 10/4 for national taco Day around 8pm and the service was awful! We asked to be seated outside because it was a nice evening. After waiting almost 15min we never saw our server. I asked the hostess what was going on and she told me the server had disappeared and is we wanted to get service it was best to move inside. We should have left at that point but we were hungry so we moved inside. It took sometime for the server to get to us and almost 45 min to get our food. She apologized and said the kitchen was behind. We never once saw a manager except when we were leaving a couple seemed to get huddled in the corner by the host stand. No one told us goodby or offered an explanation as to what was going on. Chuy's promoted this day for a month and we were excited to come in. Next time we will go elsewhere. read more

LOVE this restaurant! It's a must-go for my boyfriend and I when we're in town to visit some family. We always have to make at least one visit to chuy's. They have super fresh Spanish/Mexican food with huge portions for normal prices. We usually get a platter of some sort that comes with a combination of tacos, chalupas, or enchiladas. Their spicy level is pretty high, so watch out for the dishes that seem spicy (like the chicka chicka boom boom enchilada platter...delicious but dangerously spicy!) We also always get a side of fresh guacamole or queso. Super super delicious. Sometimes service is a little slower because things are made fresh, but the food always arrives hot and not warm, and service is always great. The ambience is really cool in there. All of the seats are shiny and glittery and are made with the plastic you would see in old school diners. There's a bunch of old rims from vehicles that line the ceiling and everything is decorated like an old drive in from the 50s. The staff all have really cool shirts with puns all over them. Some of them are available for purchase in the front, and we usually walk away with one or two purchases. We really wish they had locations near us in Broward county. We happened to have ran into a manager or owner last time, and he said they were planning to expand there soon. REALLY HOPE SO!!!! read more

10 of us showed up at this restaurant during a family vacation. While it wasn't the best Mexican food I've ever had the food was good and the service was outstanding. What can I say? If your looking for good Tex-Mex, then this is it! Hands down the best, freshest Tex-mex I have ever had. They serve chips and salsa when you arrive, which are freshly made everyday! Ask for the creamy jalapeño sauce, it's amazing and not hot! My favorite is the fajitas, cooked fresh with fresh veggies and comes out smoking at the table. The only down side is they don't serve table side guacamole. Hope they change that! Never have had anything here we didn't like. Went here the other night. We went to the one on Semeron Drive. Nothing special. It was typical Mexican American food. The service was fun to watch though. The people bringing stuff out had no clue where to go with it. One girl actually brought food to our table while we were eating out meals. I said that we didn't order that and she said and I quote "are you sure ". Now keep in mind I'm already eating my meal. Then another huge pet peeve of mine is servers that walk around with phones hanging out of their pockets. Yep everyone of them had a cell phone hanging out of their back pockets. Just looks so unprofessional to me. But the kicker is watching them checking their phones in view of the customers. Oh well when you hire servers with no personality and obviously don't take pride in their work that's what you get for service too. Will not be going back just based on food. Very plain. read more

Never had a problem before, but our server was completely incompetent. Two other groups sat, ate and left before we even got our food. Our drinks also took 30 minutes to show up. He said "we just got really busy" but other tables were getting their orders. During happy hour they have a free nacho bar in the bar area. Happy hour is 4 to 7. Don't remember if this is only m-f or includes weekends. All of the bar area is open seating including the high tops and booths. Staff is friendly. Since it just opened I will have to wait and see if the staff develops an attitude like a lot of the chain places here have. read more

The chips and salsa here are the highlight. The salsa is actually the best I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. It left MW hopeful, but that only lead to disappointment. Great Tex-Mex! Chips and salsa (comes with all meals). Salsa is fresh and has a nice kick to it. The chips are AMAZING!! They are freshly made and served warm. They are ooh so thin and crispy that you will have to stop yourself from not eating all of them before your meal comes. :) Chile con queso for the chips is also very good, although for almost $6 I rather just eat my chips with salsa. Fajitas both steak and chicken are delicious, one of the best I've had. The flautas and enchiladas are also very good. All meals come with some side sauces that are good. Stopped in for lunch, sat at the bar. Had chips & salsa. The chips are light and crispy which I like, the salsa has very little flavor. Ordered the steak burrito. Came on a platter with rice and beans. The burrito looked very appetizing. However after a couple bits into the entrée, it was obvious to me that this is the driest, most tasteless burrito I have ever had. Even though there was some sauce drizzled across the top, there was no flavor. Imagine a dry tortilla with dry steak inside, wrapped up. That's exactly what it taste like. Since I am in town for flight training, I could not wash it down with a margarita, only diet coke. For a full size restaurant, I expected more. I have had better Mexican at fast food restaurants. Service wise, the bartender was extremely kind and friendly. So much so that I did not want to make her feel bad about the food. read more

Chuys is always a great option for Mexican food. The fresh hot chips with multiple salsa options to start off the meal is a nice complimentary treat. We always ask for hatch green chile, creamy jalapeno, and Ranchero. I can not do the hatch green chile but my spouse swears it is the best. The fajitas are always perfect. We get them with the corn tortillas and chicken and beef, which make for an excellent combo. Also enjoy the deluxe quesadillas are one of my favorites. There is more than enough to make it a meal for me instead of an appetizer. I even end up sharing with my spouse. The waiters and waitresses are always pleasant. We end up chatting a bit. They even have a little bit of a show while you eat. You are able to watch the tortillas being made with care on a large spinning wheel. The atmosphere is definitely busy and eclectic. I often find myself seeing something new and different each time I am there. The one area even has hubcaps hanging from the ceiling. I like the dog picture room. They even tell their patrons they welcome pictures of their dogs to add to the collect. If you are craving some Mexican for lunch or for dinner this place is a great choice! read more

Chuy's felt like a safe option since we have been to so many in Texas. This one was awful! Hostess stand was nothing but disorganized. We asked for a patio table, and were told to go look and find one ourselves. We did and then waiter said he couldn't serve us until the hostess put us there. Beyond that our waiter was great. The food, NOT SO MUCH! Good tortillas are a must and Chuy's normally does them well. Well, these were tough and undercooked, almost like stiff dough! Hard to enjoy fajitas when the tortillas are horrible. Just very inconsistent to the Chuy's in Texas. read more

Rubber Band In My Food - Last night December 29. My first and last. Me being a big guy, and always extremely thirsty and do say I drink a lot when I go out. And by drink I mean soft drinks. I could say it could get bothersome for the waitress always coming back to find my cup empty. But no excuses to receive rude/annoyed faces and responses when coming back each time, especially when one is placing an large order for the table. Unfortunately thats just the beginning. After 35 minutes waiting for our food, what appeared to be a manager came and told us our food was being re-done because the food plate fell. You'd think we'd get a discounted check. Nope. Nothing. Today for lunch I reheated my leftovers and found a rubber band mixed with my food that i thought was a rough piece of chicken, which again, turned out to be a rubber band in my food. I took a picture and still waiting for someone to contact me back about the ordeal. read more

We decided to sit outside and we had to wait approximately 20 minutes on a Sunday. We sat outside with menus for approximately half hour without any server checking in to take order or food or drinks. One person from our party went inside to get the attention of someone and we waited 15 minutes for someone to come out and another person from the party went in to get a server. We finally ordered and waited 35 minutes for the food to come out. The food came out and simple things like the condiments were wrong but the food is overall good and tasty The food is good but service was was terrible. Would not come to this location again. Thank goodness we live in Wesley Chapel and won't have to come here. read more

Service is always prompt and welcoming. My girlfriend and I ordered the #6 combination platter that included a chicken chalupa, a cheese enchilada that you can substitute for beef (I'm pretty sure they didn't upcharge), and a crispy taco. They are known for their specialty sauces. My girlfriend's favorite sauce is the Deluxe Tomatillo since she doesn't like spicy food. I tried the Hatch Green Chile which the waiter warned me against in case I couldn't handle the heat but to my surprise, it was only mild in spiciness. With that being said, I didn't find it all that appetizing. However, Chuy's is still one of my go-to spot for when I'm craving tacos! read more
