The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. The only thing lovelier than the bartenders (that have been the same for years) was the loveliest companion that accompanied me most recently, and held such a wonderful conversation. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. I haven't had pizza in one million years, but if I were going to break the streak it would be here. It's got a real artisan feel and taste that can't be beat. If you dine in, I recall they had the bread strips they bring out - GREAT stuff. If you aren't sure what to get, go for that Texas Mule. Tito's...Ginger Beer... need I say more? If you live here and haven't been here - you are missing out. If you are passing through, stop in. It's a "go-to" for me the two times I am in Plano each year. I might have to simply go visit again just for the experience and company.

Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.

She stated that for special events the gratuity is 20%, and on normal days it is 15%. I expressed concern about being charged an increased amount without prior notification to the customer. I will definitely not be back! Can't even support your own people!
