It was a tasty meal after a little skating sesh. First, the black bean dip that accompanies the chips and salsa is absolutely delicious. You could really just eat that and a tortilla and be content. The salsa had the right amount of spice. We ordered a chimichanga that had good flavor. The crust on it seemed a little soggy, but that could have been potentially due to the sauce on top sitting a little too long. The quesadilla was hands down a favorite. Super cheesy and perfectly toasted. The rice had great flavor, plus being paired with those black beans (substituted the refried beans) made the sides even better. The flautas were a little too crispy/fried, so it overpowered the meat/cheese flavor. The guacamole was a great accompaniment to different dishes. The korbel rita with champagne was fantastic! The original folks were great and the food and service was really great. I am not sure what happened but I do not recommend this establishment any longer. The staff just does not care about the service. My wife decided to stay after waiting for 20 minutes to get some one to take her order. They were not busy either. She had to ask for service by stopping them while they were taking orders from people sitting directly behind us and who had come in 15 minutes behind us. My wife and I decided to give this place a try for a nice date night/ Cinco de Mayo celebration. THE LOCATION Easily found on West Parker, not even 45 seconds from the 75.... Maybe a little longer if you catch a red light or two. PARKING On most days it seems decent. Cinco de Mayo was a bit of a different story. QUICK TIP: The strip mall next door seems to be protective of their parking. So avoid parking there during business hours. SEATING There's outside and inside seating. We wanted to sit outside but we didn't call ahead. The other issue was that there was a 70% chance of rain and it was a bit windy outside. We decided to sit inside. Still a nice experience. Indoors is decorated very festive. It kind of reminds you of a Mexican food dive that would be located on a beach. I can't explain it but the place definitely has a beach vibe. THE MENU Lloyd to choose from. They even have burgers THE STAFF Very friendly and hard working. Cinco de Mayo wasn't terribly crazy but the kitchen was backed up and there were quite a bit of people there to eat. The staff handled it like champs. Our waitress was very friendly and got our orders right. THE FOOD I have to be honest. I'm a bit disappointed.... IN MYSELF that I didn't stop by this place a long time ago!!! My weakness is for chimichangas. Not only did they have them, they made it exactly the way I asked for it. And they have charro beans! We haven't been here for years, but we were recently at a friend's house near the restaurant and I suggested it. I love the atmosphere allowing the front of the building to open up in nice weather. Our waitress started off by offending one of the ladies in our party. She asked to see ID when alcohol was ordered, the lady smiled and someone said you just made her day. She then said, oh your my dad's age and gave the ID back. Not cool. I went with my usual, the ground beef nachos. I've always loved these and they are still just as tasty. They are stingy with the beef it seemed, but still very good. My wife got her usual, the beef fajitas. They absolutely do no skimp on the meat with these. I've been on the hunt for that perfect little taco shop with great margaritas. I found it at Senor Locos on a Saturday evening. The glass garage doors open to the patio made the place feel more festive. Our bartender was fantastic- she was making margaritas, directing the wait staff, checking on orders and answering all of our questions. The open kitchen allows you to see cooks hard at work filling orders. We started off with margaritas (pic is of the Blood Orange House Margarita and the Luchador) which were not only pretty to look at but also reasonably priced and very tasty. The small guacamole went well with their warm complimentary chips and a variety of salsas. Ask for the Pendejo Loco salsa, it isn't that hot but tastes great with the black bean chorizo dip. Our street tacos were great, next time I'm definitely ordering their nachos. Just to make sure, we had another round of margaritas that were are good as the first few rounds. We met a few fun people eager to strike up a conversation. The staff was so nice to take pics of us around the place as we imagined we were on some tropical vacation. (Blame it on the margaritas).
