I grew up in La Crescenta and tried Cibo Thai for the first time today - pleasantly surprised. I was craving Tom Yum Soup so I got the Tom Yum Noodle Soup with tofu and it was delicious - I love lemongrass but it's not for everyone. My friend got the Pad See Ew with chicken which was also yummy! Overall, I'd stop by if you're in the area and craving Thai food. The lady who served us (I believe she's the owner) was the sweetest and gave us recommendations! I would say there aren't many workers so don't dine in if you're in a rush :) The interior was very homey and cute - I would definitely come back to satisfy my cravings.

Very good Thai food, and low prices. It is family owned and run, so sometimes service is a little slow. This is our favorite Thai place.

The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, with warm lighting and a comfortable, inviting ambiance that makes every visit feel relaxing and enjoyable. My favorite dishes are the drunken noodles with shrimp, turmeric curry with chicken, and the sauteed eggplant with tofu. Their Thai tea with no sugar is absolutely fantastic and pairs perfectly with the meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience!

Staff was very nice and friendly. Food was good, got great, I would consider this modern Thai, some of the dishes had extra ingredients that were not as common. They put more vegetables in there dishes, like their Pad thai, and Pad see Ew. They definitely put a lot of proteins in there dishes, packed with chicken and beef depending on what you order. The wings were good, the pineapple fried rice. They have a Thai, Alfredo pasta dish which was different but my family really like it, especially the kids. Nice regular drink and beer and wine, good deal on the drinks. Overall a good experience, i think a little overpriced for the portion size, but still tasty food. Parking in very difficult in Glendale, and again, not the biggest place, so not the best for group over 8. Dragon Egg approved.

I don't know if they take reservations so call them. We waited only about 10 minutes for a table. The place is small, but ever so cute and clean. It has interesting art on the wall that you will enjoy. The seating is comfortable and spacious. We love the service, they were very nice to us and got our order right the first time. I loved their hot tea. All of their curry dishes are great, we have tried them all but the tofu as we don't usually like it. We love their starters. They have great egg rolls and spring rolls. Their satay is so cute and it is tender. Their cream cheese wontons are super tasty. We also love their shrimp dishes, they are all great. The prices are fair. Have fun.

Although her tone already made me uncomfortable, I still politely followed up and asked whether it was made with coconut milk or regular milk. She then replied, "Right, it's coconut milk." Food allergy questions are never "stupid questions," and I believe most customers would appreciate a restaurant where servers can answer them with basic patience and professionalism instead of attitude. P.S She literally let the door slam on us while I was trying to push our double side-by-side stroller through the entrance. (She was outside while we're entering.) It felt incredibly rude and inconsiderate, especially seeing a parent struggling to get through the door with kids.

Solid 3.5 (A-Ok)…read more This is a cute restaurant on Foothill, super close to Descanso Gardens. PARKING. There is a huge lot out back. A few spots on the street too. SEATING super comfy space inside with great views of the surrounding mountains. There are plenty of tables for bigger parties to push together. FOOD Lots of options for the vegetarians in your party. You can omit egg for some to be vegan. Adding Gluten to your dish will cost more than meat option? (-1 Star). Tasty dishes. Spice level is very good. Spicy = spicy. The recipes are a little on the sweeter side here. Overall nice flavors and well cooked greens. Blistered cherry tomatoes in Pad Kee Mao were excellent. PORTIONS are pretty small. **This was not a "lunch special". I finished the Thai iced tea in one long sip. (Small glass, filled with ice when tea was done) SERVICE Fantastic. Both servers that came to the table were super friendly and attentive. ** We were the only people in there until we got the check. One other patron was picking up an order to go. PRICE Perfect "date lunch" prices for the portions. The restaurant atmosphere and convenience close to Descanso Gardens makes it a great choice.

Last time I was here, the Moo Krob was served plain with only green sauce. This time around, I enjoyed how it was plated and served with mustard greens. Some of the dishes run a little salty (the thai aguachile and the nam tok tataki) , so an order of rice is mandatory. The calamari with brown butter sauce is a standout dish! I believe they put Szechuan chilis in the sauce--it has a nice mala tingle. My bf and I look forward to coming everytime they update the menu to try something new!

The restaurant is small, so there can be a wait. But there re tables inside and outside, with some bar seating. The dishes run about $25-$35 a plate. The menu does change and is updated frequently. Two drinks, two appetizers, three entrees was about $200. The panang curry was sooo tasty, but the pork jowl was chewy. Maybe needed a bit more pressure cooking, but the sauce was so tasty. Pad kee mao was very tasty. This was the group's favorite entree. The added cost for the beef makes sense; it did make it about a $30 dish. The flavor and heat of the noodles were lovely. The beef was very tasty and tender. The snack/appetizers were both tasty. Very true to name, with bite size. The sauces were so well done with sour, salty, sweet combination.
