So I'm the type of person who likes to plan ahead, especially if I know I'll be too busy later on. I contacted Theresa 2 months in advance (there's no such thing as too early) inquiring about baking a custom marvel/iron man cake. She quoted me several prices and options and was very quick in responding to my questions. The fondant was thin and easy to cut into. The cake was moist yet springy. Not sweet at all which was a good balance since sometimes the cake itself is too sweet. I tasted a dash of salt that balanced out the buttercream. The buttercream also wasn't as sweet as I expected which was a plus! Surprisingly the fondant was edible! Theresa was professional, friendly and helpful. I did not have a clear visualization of the cake I wanted. Long story short...I had this champagne custom cake made last minutes by Theresa from CiCi's Cakery. I am so happy that she was able to take my order so last minutes as bakeries usually require 2-3 weeks notice in advance. I placed my cake order within a week and my cake came exactly what I expected and wanted (See picture below). The cake was super delicious. I can't remember exactly how many people asked me for Theresa's contact, but at least several throughout the night. Basically, I chose green tea and sesame flavor, but you can't tell the flavors from the picture until the cake's cut. My guests were shocked when they taste the cake. Reason 1: My guests didn't know the cake's flavors are green tea and sesame so it made it even more surprising. Reason 2: The green tea and sesame flavors are incredibly delicious as it's not too sweet and you can definitely taste both green tea and sesame flavors and it doesn't taste artificial at all. Reason 3: The cake texture is very soft and moist.
