First time at Cicis Pizza w/ my wife and sister for dinner today! Upon entry we paid & the total came out to $43.98 for us three with drinks. Decent ambiance of the pizza spot with an arcade on the other side for kids to play at. If you and your family love pizza it is a good spot to come and visit.

This is the best value. Everything on the buffet is delicious. Even if pizza isn't your thing, then there is a salad bar with 5 or 6 dressings, a hot soup, pasta with a red sauce or with a white sauce. Cici's provides you the opportunity to try one of the unusual pizzas without having to commit to purchasing an entire pizza. They have barbeque chicken, macaroni and cheese, Eggo waffles and chicken, and spaghetti with teeny, tiny meatballs. The company seems to understand their demographics. After all of those pizza slices, your customers are going to be looking for dessert. They have that also! Brownies, soft cinnamon rolls and an apple struesel type "pizza". I'm glad I do not live close to Cici's. I would be coming here way too often.

Overall the restaurant was a bit busy with families and kids. There is a small salad bar and the lettuce was not the fresh and had signs of freezer burn and some was brown and not crispy. The salad bar has dressings, ingredients you can add, and toppings. Pizza was thin and not many choices to choose. The soup broth is separate from the broth you must add your own noodles. Desserts are brownies and cinnamon bread. The garlic cheesy bread was the best of all of it. Average spend per person is about $20 if you want a beverage.

My man took me out to Cici's pizza buffet in Naperville. I've never been here before and always wanted to check it out. This place advertised an $8.99 all you can eat buffet and the stupid part about it is the fact that drinks don't come with that deal and you have to pay extra. That's how they rip people off. I personally think the fountain drinks should already be part of that deal. They had options but my favorites were the bbq chicken pizza, spinach and plain cheese. I also checked the desserts and enjoyed the cinnamon roll because it was ooey and goey. Take your kids here!

Brought my now adult child to the first Cici's we've seen in years. Most of the restaurants in this chain closed several years ago. I used to take my kids to a Coci's when they were little, and they had very fond childhood memories. Came here tonight mostly out of sense of nostalgia and curiosity. We were VERY pleasantly surprised. The staff are super friendly, the dining room is IMMACULATELY clean. The salad bar (always a good test of freshness and cleanliness IMHO) was likewise pristine. All the ingredients were very fresh, and being kept quite tidy. The pizza was the same as we remembered. Good quality; not a gourmet experience by any means, but tasty and fresh. On par with most value chains (think Papa John / Domino, not Malnati's). Dessert offerings of brownies and a frosted apple-tart style "pizza", and cinnamon buns, were likewise tasty. Nice little "games" area for the kids. All in all, this hit the sweet spot for nostalgia with the millennial child, and salad, pasta, pizza and sweets were good. Would definitely recommend for anyone who remembers this once ubiquitous chain from its glory days as a great place to feed your kid's satisfying fare on a budget. Shout-out to the owners for EXCEEDING expectations on clean, fresh, well maintained establishment! Thanks for the memories

Dirty, slow and poor layout. Pizzas were cold and not made well. We have been to other Cici's and this was the worst.

However, when I asked for a water refill or a new plate, he got it. I would say average but not above average service. We ordered dragon fries, baked ziti, and supreme pizza with the caramelized crust. Overall this is like a 3. 3 for me is a one and done. I wanted to try a new pizza place but this was a disappointment. -dragon fries 5 - this was good. The sauce is tangy with some spice. It's not super spicy but this would go well on wings. -baked ziti 2 - I had a lot of pasta and this one was one of the worst. The noodles tasted a bit too rubbery, it should be softer. The sauce had no flavor. -supreme pizza 3 - maybe I should have gotten the tavern style because the supercharged pizza tasted doughy and kind of bland. I even reheated it on my pizza stone at home and it does taste better with a crispier crust. However, it was still mid.

While serving a martinis at the table, our server had an accident. The shaker lid came off and the blue martini spilled all over my wife, soaking her top and skirt. Our night out was ruined. So compensation for getting get a blue martini dumped all over you is brushed off with a single drink. I buy people at bars a drink for any reason. I asked the host about it and he said we didn't ask for anything more so... We are not people who are out fishing for free meals, but because we didn't beg for anything, the host evidently felt he was off the hook for trying to make it right. Ouch. I've had some really great arancini before, and these were alright. The sauce was the highlight, with a nice flavor and a slight kick to it. We were told the pizzas were personal-sized, so everyone in our group ordered their own. When they arrived, they were huge. I went with the Fredo, a more traditional-style pizza, and it was pretty solid with good toppings and flavor. Others at the table ordered the Detroit-style pizzas, and they looked incredible, I wish I had taken some photos. The general consensus was that the pizzas were a bit too bready, but they had good flavor, great presentation, and a nice crispy crust. Service was okay. It took a while for our server to take our order, and I wish we had been advised to share a few pizzas instead of ordering individually. We all ended up taking most of our pizzas to go, but with dinners planned throughout the rest of the trip, they unfortunately didn't get eaten later. Overall, a decent spot with solid pizza and generous portions.

In the ongoing saga of trying to find a restaurant that works for all three of us: my vegan wife,…read moreme (a very NOT vegan) and our picky 8-year old, tonight's episode took place at Fiammé in downtown Naperville. Its very hard to find spots that can accommodate our very particular palates, and even more hard to find good vegan options outside of the city. Thats why I was excited to find this lovely Italian restaurant. The parking lot is small but there's a good amount of sidestreet parking. The inside is warm, cozy and super clean (including the restrooms ). The hospitality stood out right away. The owners and wait staff were very welcoming, and our server was fantastic; honest (which I appreciate), knew the menu well, and once she realized our situation, gave us some wonderful direction on what to order. I wouldn't say that the menu is overwhelming, but I rarely go to a restaurant where it takes me that long to decide what I want. There are lots of interesting options, from braised short rib ravioli to baked ziti, and several tasty appetizers (highly recommend the calamari). But we had come for the PIZZA. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza. It was surprisingly bigger than we thought, and at a great price. The kid only ate half before she said, "I like it...this might be better than [insert famous Chicago pizza brand]." (you MUST KNOW that this is high praise from a 3rd grader). My wife ordered the "They Don't Have Beef With Me" vegan Detroit-style pizza, and I have to admit, it was very good. Somehow they pulled off a buttery (but not butter) crust with melty vegan cheese (but NOT cheese ). Absolutely nailed it. I would have eaten more of hers if I hadn't ordered the Butcher pizza from the wood-fired menu. It was OUTSTANDING. Great flavor, perfect texture. Easily one of thee best wood-fired pizzas I've ever had. We're not drinkers, but they do have a good wine list and some nice zero-proof options, including the Amber Apple and The Drip. We didn't make it to dessert, mostly because the portions are generous, so our bellies (and our to-go boxes) were full. We will definitely be back to try other menu options and for dessert. If your family or friend group includes picky palates or dietary restrictions (the pizzas can be made gluten-free as well), then run...don't walk...to Fiammé. 100/10 recommend.
