The worst Customer serves. I dropped my family at this place, while I was going to do some errands . I approach to the cashier to pay. For my wife, sister-law and two kids. I explained that I am not going to stay to dining. She got upset. Because I refused to pay for myself. I explained one more time. I am not going into the restaurant. I am not staying. I am here to pay for my family while I doing some errands. And she asks for a minute. I wait for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally a manager came over. He didn't even ask me. If you have kids...and kids that like pizza...this is the place for you! You can't beat $4.99 (for adults) and $2.99 (for kids 10 and under) all you can eat pizza and dessert! They also have a salad bar as well as a pasta station. The dessert pizzas and browies are absolutely delicous. Oh and you can ask them to make a custom pizza for you that has any topping(s) you can possibly think of. Now mind you this is far from gourmet food! But, for the price it's hard to complain. Drinks are extra, but my daughter and I typically end up drinking water. Also, this new location is fairly clean. The seating is somewhat cramped in my opinion - and it can get really crowded in here on weekends. So it's best to try and go when they first open if you can (that's when the food is the freshest as well). They do have a little gameroom in the back - but it's nothing to brag about honestly. This is about Cici's Naperville located in Rt59. Its always my go-to restaurant whenever i go out for shopping.The hospitality they show will be a pleasant experience. Right from the time you enter and leave the place you will be treated well. They recently started serving Chicken Wings and Beer. Nice combination is a buffet restaurant. We will get $1 off whenever we complete a survey from www.cicisvisit.com and note the number t the end of the survey. The cool thing we can order a special Pizza in a buffet. As nice as you see. Never seen such a practice in a buffet restaurant. I order Chicken Pizza with 1 topping and white sauce. My kid loves the chicken they use for topping. So i always order that one. They have good pastas and dessert. Good enough to try different varieties. The pizzas in the buffet were maintained hot always. Completely disappointed in the customer service at this location. The buffet usually only offers a small assortment and when we ask for a special order that doesn't include pepperoni or sausage we are told they are out of it. Seriously? They just want to pinch pennies and put whatever they think the majority eats. Because my kids favorite place in the entire world is Chasers, and because CiCi's delivers to Chasers, I've had my share of CiCi's Pizza. CiCi's Pizza isn't my first choice by any means for pizza. But for $10 for a large pizza, any large pizza they offer, and quick delivery, CiCi's deserves some credit. Their pizza reminds me a lot of Sbarro's or Pizza Now. A little extra salty with chewy crust. While I avoid buffets in general, I might consider going to this location because I already know my kids will definitely eat CiCi's anytime. read more

I have been there multiple times and it gets worse every time I go there. The last time we went, we were 8 people and several of us had food restrictions so I went to order specific type of pizza and the owner was so annoyed and walked away in the middle of the conversation. Extreamly Rude Employees!!! I had to wait 5 minutes before someone even approached the counter so I could pay. Never apologized for the wait. 2 employees spoke the entire time in some other (indian language). Ever yelling to each other in the kitchen laughing. I asked if they could make a custom pizza they refused. When a different employee aproached the counter I ask a second time for a custom pizza. I was told no a second time. The employee immediately started speaking in another language to the first person who told me no and started laughing. I told the employee in the past when ever I've asked no one ever said no was there a problem? His immediate response was you can choose from what we have made. Then laughed again. I find it EXTREMELY Rude when someone knows English, however intentionally speaks another language in front of you. I felt direspected by having multiple employees more or less laugh in my face. Had I not had a 7 year old with me I'm sure I would have given them a whole lot of 4 letter words. I'll never go back to this location!!! I had another customer tell me "they are always @ss holes here, I only come here because it's close and cheap. If I could leave a negative rating I would. This is a great place to go to have a bite with the kids and hide from the heat outside! The place is clean, the food is CHEAP but decent and the best thing about it is that it is all-you-can-eat and the kids can get up anytime to serve themselves. Very casual environment. The arcade in back is small, but enough to keep a bunch of kids entertained for a while. Although they have ready made pizzas, I found out today that you can actually request special order pizzas & they will deliver them to your table. They switched from reusable cups to disposable ones and now water costs 11 cents. My son dropped his cup and I was asked to pay again for a new cup. There were very few options of pizzas and salads and quality was lower than other times we visited. They were understaffed, at dinner time I saw only four people working. I overheard a conversation between the manager and a customer who had lost money in the arcade area that he was not going to be reimbursed because another company provided support for those machines. Actually, I kind of liked that since it was easier to say no to my kids when they asked to go in the back and play! So, I give them a start for that! read more

Loved cici in California but this was the worst cici I have been too. You couldn't make special requests. During a slow time there were at least 5 tables full of dishes and dirty tables. The only special pizza was a macaroni pizza and when that was out he pulled from under the counter a spinach that tasted like it had been under there since opening. Horrendous service. The manger is dating one if the employees which in sure is some sort of regulation violation. Not only are they dating but they constantly put it on display. It leads to bad judgment calls just to impress the manager and leads the employee to become pretentious and superficial. Not to mention being extremely rude to the customers even going so far to berate a 10 year old child who just wants to put salad dressings in their bowls for dipping purposes. The employees also refuse to wear gloves when serving and cooking food and refuses to wash hands when touching foods or plates. One customer even used a water cup to drink tea out of, which in itself is bad, and addressed the customer so poorly that they were threatened to be charged for a soda cup if they didn't use the water cups properly. How incredibly rude. The two ONLY keep eyes on each other and no other employees. But they do plenty of peeping on unassuming customers. Over all this location is run by a blindsided manager who should be fired immediately for his rude staff and terrible treatment of his customers. Today was my visit to this location. This is a minor thing, but I was a little disappointed that they are not observing the advertised special of $5 all month long on tv. Anyhow, I enjoyed the pizza and the manager was very nice about trying to accommodate everyone. He really went above and beyond trying to have a variety of pizzas and also honoring special requests. We came here when the Cici's by us closed down. It is very clean. The staff is awesomely nice and welcoming. The food was fresh and pretty well stocked when we got there although the longer we were there the less stocked it was but we just special ordered instead of waiting. Very family oriented place. This place is terrible. Has terrible customer service. Really knows how to embarrass people. We asked for a cup of water. along with a soft drink cup that we paid for. We asked for a cup of water for the purpose of putting some of our soft drink into it. We asked if that was fine and the lady said it was. Well she later came to our table and said very loudly that the clear cups are for water and continued to make a scene and embarrass us. We told her why we wanted the water cup. For my 2 year old so we could pour a bit of our drink into it. And she said it was fine and gave us the cup. She did not have to embarrass us in front of the entire restaurant.
