First time at Cicis Pizza w/ my wife and sister for dinner today! Upon entry we paid & the total came out to $43.98 for us three with drinks. Decent ambiance of the pizza spot with an arcade on the other side for kids to play at. If you and your family love pizza it is a good spot to come and visit.

This is the best value. Everything on the buffet is delicious. Even if pizza isn't your thing, then there is a salad bar with 5 or 6 dressings, a hot soup, pasta with a red sauce or with a white sauce. Cici's provides you the opportunity to try one of the unusual pizzas without having to commit to purchasing an entire pizza. They have barbeque chicken, macaroni and cheese, Eggo waffles and chicken, and spaghetti with teeny, tiny meatballs. The company seems to understand their demographics. After all of those pizza slices, your customers are going to be looking for dessert. They have that also! Brownies, soft cinnamon rolls and an apple struesel type "pizza". I'm glad I do not live close to Cici's. I would be coming here way too often.

Overall the restaurant was a bit busy with families and kids. There is a small salad bar and the lettuce was not the fresh and had signs of freezer burn and some was brown and not crispy. The salad bar has dressings, ingredients you can add, and toppings. Pizza was thin and not many choices to choose. The soup broth is separate from the broth you must add your own noodles. Desserts are brownies and cinnamon bread. The garlic cheesy bread was the best of all of it. Average spend per person is about $20 if you want a beverage.

My man took me out to Cici's pizza buffet in Naperville. I've never been here before and always wanted to check it out. This place advertised an $8.99 all you can eat buffet and the stupid part about it is the fact that drinks don't come with that deal and you have to pay extra. That's how they rip people off. I personally think the fountain drinks should already be part of that deal. They had options but my favorites were the bbq chicken pizza, spinach and plain cheese. I also checked the desserts and enjoyed the cinnamon roll because it was ooey and goey. Take your kids here!

Brought my now adult child to the first Cici's we've seen in years. Most of the restaurants in this chain closed several years ago. I used to take my kids to a Coci's when they were little, and they had very fond childhood memories. Came here tonight mostly out of sense of nostalgia and curiosity. We were VERY pleasantly surprised. The staff are super friendly, the dining room is IMMACULATELY clean. The salad bar (always a good test of freshness and cleanliness IMHO) was likewise pristine. All the ingredients were very fresh, and being kept quite tidy. The pizza was the same as we remembered. Good quality; not a gourmet experience by any means, but tasty and fresh. On par with most value chains (think Papa John / Domino, not Malnati's). Dessert offerings of brownies and a frosted apple-tart style "pizza", and cinnamon buns, were likewise tasty. Nice little "games" area for the kids. All in all, this hit the sweet spot for nostalgia with the millennial child, and salad, pasta, pizza and sweets were good. Would definitely recommend for anyone who remembers this once ubiquitous chain from its glory days as a great place to feed your kid's satisfying fare on a budget. Shout-out to the owners for EXCEEDING expectations on clean, fresh, well maintained establishment! Thanks for the memories

The pizza was very good, a lot of kinds of pizzas. The employees are very kind and very security of there job. The place is very clean. We would come back

Sad excuse for a "pizza". Flimsy is all i can say.

Dirty, slow and poor layout. Pizzas were cold and not made well. We have been to other Cici's and this was the worst.

The best hot pot in the burbs, hands down…read more The location is a fun re-purposed 70s build. It is a cozy location with a lot of space. Always feels welcoming and warm (especially in the winter). I cannot say more than all of their food is delicious. The meat is great and fresh, the buffet veggies are tasty, and the extras they offer (sesame balls, spring rolls, etc.) are a nice touch! You can't go wrong with any of the broths, but don't be shy to try the spicy. It is not overwhelming and adds great flavor. The staff is great and always willing to answer any questions. They are quick to refill broth or bring any refills for meats. Perfect for a group or a delightful date. Many happy returns to this favorite!

This one's building looks like a beautiful lodge. While there is an online Yelp waitlist (that goes up to 6 people), we had a party of 8 so I called the restaurant and they were happy to put my name down for a reservation. We came to celebrate my dad's birthday. We brought a cake to share, and when we arrived, our server was gracious enough to store it in the fridge until we were ready. We had 6 adults and 2 kids. Kids under a certain height (I forget the details exactly) are free. So we didn't have to pay for the little ones, and not like toddlers appreciate hot pot anyway. It was more, "how do we make sure they don't touch the pot?!" which went totally fine. It's to position the high chairs the furthest away from the knobs/hot surfaces. On our end of the table, we got the half-half broth of classic marrow and the gold cabbage marrow. The golden marrow was SO GOOD. I would get this again and again, because it's hot/sour; the flavor of pickled cabbage and the spice of Szechuan peppercorns. Our server said the spice builds over time, and it did. It was so flavorful that I barely used my dipping sauce. If you like hot/spicy and sour, choose this broth, it is DELICIOUS. The sauce station and the prepared food buffet was located in the middle-back of the dining area. It's a little packed and cozy in there, especially during the dinner rush, you may need to wait a little longer or keep an eye on the area to determine when to get out of your seat. This same area has self-service personal ice cream cups, soda, additional toppings/veggies/proteins, buffet (fried rice, fried chicken, egg rolls, fried buns) AND the sauce station. What I did love is there was a gentleman who was making balloon animals/hats/characters for sale near the front of the restaurant. He says he does this occasionally when he doesn't have other gigs like parties or weddings, etc, so my kiddo and my niece each got a cat and a bunny, respectively. This made their day! And it was nice for them not to be strapped into a high chair the whole time, and have something to entertain them. Overall, 4 shining stars! It would have been great if they had private and semi-private rooms like the Bridgeport location, but I think this wasn't possible due to their building. It looked like they took over a from a Mangia Bubala Roadhouse (Italian and Jewish fare) which took over from a Connie's Pizza. This place has gone through some changes, but it looks like Happy Lamb will be there for the long-run.
