I'm usually not a huge pepperoni pizza fan because it tends to be overly greasy, and I almost always prefer plain cheese. But I have to admit, this deep-dish pizza surprised me. Ok. This was the second Chicago style deep Dish pizza restaurant we tried in Naperville and wish we could have eaten here. The service was super friendly and helpful. They will Pack the frozen pizzas you buy in an insulated heavy duty bag. It kept our pizzas cold for like 12 hours. It kept our pizzas good for our flight home to California. We then cooked the pizzas at our home and had family over to try them. These pizzas were great. We liked them Better than the Lou Malnatti's pizza because Giardino's crust is better. The pizza is so filling with yummy gooey cheese and great crust. This is more like a pie than typical Californian pizza. Can't wait to eat there for our visit next year ( God willing). read more

Oh how I've missed Giordano's since moving out of the region decades ago! When we spotted one near our hotel, we knew we'd be dropping by during our visit. We were greeted and seated fairly promptly, as soon as a table was cleared. The ambiance was nothing special, just a pizza place with some TVs here and there, but we skipped the appetizer and went straight for a medium sausage and mushroom. Great cheese pull, great ratio of ingredients, just wish we had bigger stomachs to eat more of it! We were only a party of two, but we were hungry and ambitious. This is my review on a take out order. Actually, I bought 2 frozen pizza to go. I bought one from Lou Malnatis and wasn't to do a taste test. I was a bit disappointed with Lou Malnatis pizza. Any who I came on a Saturday afternoon and they weren't busy. The layout of this Giordanos is different. The dining room is hidden behind a wall. You are faced with a long counter and a window to the kitchen. The man who helped with was very pleasant and kind. I bought 3 pizzas which included a freezer bag. Lou Malnatis does not include this. The bag draws plenty of attention at the airport. Everyone knows Giordano pizza! So glad I can take it back home with me a a souvenir! read more

The special was pretty good! Plenty of toppings. Wasn't a big fan of the deep dish. Felt as though there was a thick layer of cheese that was not melty enough, but cooked perfectly with excellent sauce and toppings. We also god a spaghetti for the kids and that was devoured so fast! read more

Placed an order to go for 3 pizzas, 2 appetizers and an Italian Beef. First, all of the plastic containers for sauce in appetizers were melted and then spilled - perhaps held under a heater or in a warmer - either way, a mess of sauces made it difficult to eat and soggy. One deep dish pizza was perfect, the other was stuck to the cardboard so the entire bottom crust was lost - I have never experienced that before. Also ordered their new thin crust tavern style which was not good at all - very dry and overcooked and no one ate more than a few bites. Aug 7, 2023 Monday. Went to Naperville to try some deep dish pizza with family. We ordered a large "meat and more meat" . Omg, so far the best pizza I ever had. Actually this was the first deep dish pizza I ever tried. Service, ambiance , staff were all great. Place is clean. No desserts because pizza was already filling. I usually go to the Willowbrook Giordano's but was in Naperville and stopped in. It wasn't busy but the food delivery was off completely! Salad for two came with an overwhelming amount of dressing, which was to be on the side! the thin crust pizza took over an hour and was super hot and the crust was very crispy. If you can wait 45 minutes, this is just evidence that Chicagoland is only great in Chicago-style pizza. If you're from the East coast, you will be disappointed in their thin crust pizza. There is no comparison to NY style pizza. The pizza was not what I expected and the crust was burnt. The alcoholic drinks could have been better.
