An impressive menu I guess. Lots of options for pizza and salads, wings, and calzones and some pastas too. A hotel go to after midnight. That's my excuse for tonight's late night box steamed wings and pizza. If size matters, the wings weren't impressive, well, one was. The majority were only better than wings I've received from a pizza chain named after a game played in prison. They weren't terrible, but outside of circumstances such as tonight (delayed flight from point A to the convection causing me to miss flight to point C aka home) wherein I'm stranded near O'Hare in Chicagoland, starving and it was approaching midnight. No other scenario that I foresee would require this order of pizza and wings recur. The pizza, a decent Hawaiian style pizza, but with doughy gross crust, at least had a really tasty sauce. Lots of bacon and the pineapple was sweet. The delivery, although 5+ minutes late, was still a reasonable quickness. Price for all wasn't terrible, though because I shouldn't have ordered the wings, was a tad high for just myself. I can't believe it took me this long to try Sarpino's, especially as a vegetarian! -- I ordered delivery one night (directly through their website) and was excited to have another vegetarian friend over so we could try some new stuff! We ordered the create your own (CYO) and I added the plant based pepperoni and sausage and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I literally want to eat this at least once a week going forward. So dang good! I saw they also have a lot of vegan options too, so you can definitely venture outside of just pizza - but the pizza was bomb, so why fix something that's not break? 12/10 recommend. I feel that it is in a class of commercial pizza trying to claim homemade authentic style and it could never meet my expectations unless the quantity & quality of cheese and mushrooms were increased significantly. Sarpino's offers pizza and breadsticks, but after having both I can really only recommend the breadsticks. We ordered delivery and had a large half-sausage half-pepperoni pizza, a 12-piece Double Cheesy Bread, and an order of hot wings. The wings were just okay, the flavor was decent and they were of good size but they were nothing special. The pizza had one issue and it was the sauce. It seemed to lack flavor and left a mediocre aftertaste in our mouths. The breadsticks, however, nearly made up for the other items. If you've ever had a Pokey Stick from Gumby's then this is right up your alley. It's a circle of breadsticks cut into strips and covered in cheese. YUM! The marinara served for dipping was great too! Actually, that was the odd part: the pizza sauce tasted lackluster but the marinara was tasty...? I'd think they're the same sauce...? We always like trying different pizza places in the area (even though we already have our go-to two) and I'm glad we gave Sarpino's a try. We won't be getting another pizza from them but I can nearly guarantee that more cheesy bread is in our future. read more

What I like about them is that they offer free delivery, I have used them many times without any problems, I also like that they are open late and weekends holidays so that's a plus. I used them mainly for the free delivery. The online order sometimes is confusing and take Me long to go through, once they offered a free pizzas deal and I wanted to order the free pizza, it was complicated, the app crashed and I ended ordering other deal with a free drink instead and was a bit disappointed because I had people over and we could had used the extra pizza. Living so close to this location means my family orders here a lot. Their pizza is good and timely. When it comes to food taste and cooking, solid place. I usually put in the order and my brother picks up. I always order square cut pizzas and the last 4 times, they cut it triangle. It's not a big deal once or twice but consistently doing that makes me suspicious of if I am getting a fresh pizza or not. Also, if it's too hard to follow our request to cut in squares, how do I know they actually cleaned their pizza cutter before using it, as I always ask. We have asked them to fix it once and the guy just added more lines to a triangle cut pizza and there were such messed up pieces. If their pizza wasn't good, I wouldn't come back. I really love this pizza place! It's not your typical heavy, greasy pizza joint. I love all the different choices on the specialty and gourmet pizza menu. Was it super easy to order what I wanted online? Yes. Was the delivery fast? Yes. Was the food good? Eh... The pizza crust was very soggy, which I hate. If I can't easily hold up a slice of pizza with only one hand, the crust isn't crispy enough for me. Also, I'm not big into sweet sauces, and their marinara sauce definitely tastes sugary. The cheese tortellini was fine, not great, and the garlic bread that it came with was the same. Overall, the value just wasn't there for the price. I get the same level of enjoyment from Domino's for 2/3 the cost. Will not be ordering from here again. read more

But somehow when he ordered online, he ordered no cheese, except for a few dabs of ricotta by mistake.
