I know it's fast food and not the best pizza on the planet, but I still really like it sometimes. I love a cracker thin crust and I love that I can order a mini and keep my calories in check. I also love that it isn't greasy. I never feel sick after I eat it The pizza always comes out pretty quick and always with friendly service No table service. I've been to this location a few times and enjoyed the food and experience. My wife and I visited a few days ago The pizza was great. My wife got a caesar side salad for $7 that was seriously puny and nothing more than a small handful of lettuce tossed in a bowl. My bigger issue was the guy that took our order. He spoke very quickly and softly. I had to repeat instructions several times or ask him to repeat what he was saying. My requests were met with the same machine gun delivery. I honestly think he was being purposely rude. I don't think either of us received what we wanted when we walked in. Very annoying. Any way, if you go, the pizza was fine. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Paid for a pizza and asked for a cup of water and the lady cashier would only give out sauce cups for water. She did this to multiple paying customers, not just me. It's 90 degrees outside today and can't give a cup of water to a paying customer?? Horrible service with attitude too. They said so many people steal soda that they have to do that but why punish paying customers?! Find another solution instead of sauce cups that hold 30mL of liquid. Affordable wood fire pizza that you can make your way! They have pizza that they have on their menu as well. It's like a CiCi's but 1,000 times better and with a fire grill oven. The cheesy bread is not like your typical cheese bread it's a whole pizza, may hold off on ordering that. read more

I was excited for my pizza but not he RUINED MY DAY. He even got super cocky and waved at us mad to tell us the pizza was ready. MOD needs to reevaluate their employees. 3.5 stars The pizza I got looked great. The price of $8.27 was fair. The food was prepared quickly. The crust was nice and crispy. But...there wasn't much flavor. I had plenty of veggies, basil, parmesan, and garlic, but still not much flavor . Even the garlic pieces by themselves had little flavor, meaning they weren't fresh; probably jarred (which I suppose is expected at this price point). Pizza was fine but I have NEVER seen this place as insane as it was tonight. Due mostly to a party of boys (8 y.o. or so) absolutely screaming their heads off and getting in the way no matter where you turned in the restaurant, including on the stairs to get out to the parking lot (liability waiting to happen!). If a parent was present it sure wasn't evident. This is when a manager desperately needed to step in and tell them to pipe down because it was off-putting to literally every other person in the shop. I don't exaggerate when I say that we only stayed long enough to order and get our pizzas to go and my nerves were utterly on edge by the time we got outside. I know this is a chain and I know the assembly line approach may bother some, but this is the best pizza in Naperville for thin crust pizza. Given there has to be 20+ pizza shops that is saying something. It is refreshing that you can pick as many toppings as you like for the same price. The kids that work there are always friendly and responsive. Back to the pizza... For me, the crust is the most important. Thin with firm structure and a nice chew. We always pass by this joint everytime we are at downtown Naperville. We decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. The place is clean, nice and well-lit. We were greeted by a big hello by the entire crew in the kitchen. The wall was decorated by pictures of i guess all the guest that came in the restaurant. Its like the "subway" version of pizza! You choose the size of the pizza and the toppings you want to go with it. If you are overwhelmed with the choices, they have a classic that is listed in their wall and they will make it for you. A-Ok as Yelp Would suggest is exactly what you will get from Mod. Mod allows you to make something delicious for yourself using decent ingredients and pick it up no hassle. The environment inside is also nice and classic pizza shop. They do these things perfectly and that is it, based on my experience. If there is more to Mod someone let me know but honestly its perfect for what it is. You aren't getting the best food or service (like a sit down place or craft dough) but you are getting insanely great consistency. It's like the Starbucks of Pizza but one tier up. My rating system... is based on the local area and not of the world wide scope of quality & service. Comparing an experience in Berlin to Nepal wouldn't serve either justice. However judging each establishment based on their neighbor is a great way to determine the relative quality of an establishment. 5/5 - The most stand out performance compared to all other places of service in the local area (almost shocking) 4/5 - The highest level within the context of the local area (great/fantastic) 3/5 - On-Par with local area (Edible for all persons/usually good for families or a quick fix) 2/5 - Worse than other options locally (worth it only if it's the only thing open) 1/5 - Should seek new management or completely reinvent themselves. So I'm gonna have to downgrade my experience here. Never had this issue at any other mod location but when you ask them to put cheese on your pizza, they look at you like you asked for a kidney. I had to asked the pizza maker to put more cheese on my pizza 3 times and I would consider that a normal pizza. I never get a pizza with "extra" cheese.
