Haven't been here in at least 5 years because it was so poorly run back then. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean the place looked and was greeted with a very sweet smile from a young lady upon entry. The food was fresh and I watched very closely and not once was there a space on the buffet counter! This place is very well managed now. Excellent choice and service. I will definitely be back. The girl lied and said there were a "couple" of pizza's in the oven when I asked her if anything fresh was coming out. There were no pizza's in the oven because I stood there long enough to see them load two pizza's and the same 2 come out. There was nothing on the buffet table except dried up partial pizza that needed to go...Why lie to the customer? It's just not necessary. It would have been better, if she had just apologized for not having any eatable pizza on the buffet line, I would have waited patiently along with everything body else and went about my business, instead I paid good money to endure a lie and wait a long minute for some pizza that btw, was not very good.. The cons are that it's nothing special. There was nothing bad to say about the pizza and dessert, though it's nothing spectacular. The salad bar looked a bit haggard. I usually love cici's so I decided to try this one out. The employees were pretty nice however I went to go get my drink, as soon as I threw my straw wrapper in the trash baby roaches crawled out. I told an employee and he just kicked it to the kitchen! I got a salad, all the veggies were soggy. I got pasta, was pretty decent. They didnt have much pizza variety, but I got a couple slices, they were terrible! It's like they been sitting out for hours!!!! The brownies were dry and Cold. I then went to the restroom and there were more baby roaches all over the floor in the stall crawling! I'm from NH. Let me just say that we have NO CiCi's Pizza up there, so when I went to TX to visit my brother in the Army, we were really interested in trying this place. My first impression was poor. The place is dirty as hell! It's dingy, dull and just gross and the customer base does not help. The girl at the counter was so chatty that there was a line gr owning out the door because she wanted to tell everyone her life story before cashing them out. Maybe it's Southern hospitality that I'm not used to, but after standing there for 20 minutes, I was rather annoyed. After listening to her chat with us about God only knows, because I tuned her out, we found a table and went for our food. The pizza is sad. It's nothing like the commercials, that's for sure. It's dry, the toppings are lacking, there is really no sauce and the slices are small. The cheese they put on the pizza is weird also. The salad is just a bowl of lettuce with a few cherry tomatoes thrown in, and the cinnasticks are also dry and hardly flavored. The buffet itself is also very dirty, and there is no one that's standing there making sure it stays neat, which is really gross considering people let their kids touch everything. EW. Another thing I was really ticked off by was that we ordered wings and they deliver them to your table, only ours were forgotten about. The reason why I even give it two stars is because after we finished our meals, I went up to the counter and asked to speak to the manager because we paid for the wings but never got them. She apologized profusely, and refunded the entire amount and even offered to make the wings and put them in a to-go box. Great for kids because they don't know any better. Tong for getting food were consistently found inside the food. So that part that EVERYONE's been touching, it's in your pizza, your salad, and your pasta. Yum. Trainee at check in but can't fault. Can fault the trainer who wiped her hands up and down all my cups to get something off these. Which is worse, the something that was there or your hands which have been touching money all day? I haven't eaten at a Cici's in years, and it has definitely improved. The crust is now normal instead of hard & they have some good artistic toppings as well as the usual expected ones. They can make you a custom pizza if you want toppings they don't usually put out on the buffet. If you don't want pizza, they have one pasta with white or red sauce & a noodle soup as well as a small salad bar (the salad bar could stand a few more options). The garlic cheese breadsticks are really good & so are the cinnamon rolls for dessert. They have a small arcade for kids. Atmosphere is very casual, so it's a good place for kids including rowdy ones. Staff was very friendly & kept tables cleared. The price per person is reasonable. read more

I have been to cicis a couple times and it seems that every time I go in, it seems as though it is getting worse. The managers are always on their phones or standing around talking. Once I even saw a manager making out with an employee near the bathrooms. I directed my daughter away and we left. The food is good but the service is horrible. read more

CiCi's is to me the 2nd best place to get pizza here in San Angelo, with Cork & Pig being first ( Cork is brick oven there and nice selection of toppings)...anyway...the buffet is good and much better than that Double Daves place. CiCi's was clean and maintained very nice I like that they have white spinach pizza in addition they had at least 5 other types of pies. They are also willing to make you a pie specially for the buffet if you do not see what you want already out there for that I gave them the "4th" star. By far though the Garlic Knots (not the bread sticks) but the Garlic Knots were the best thing there. If you do not see them there ask them for them. As far as desserts they had 3 different ones there and my husband had them and said they were good. read more
