Food price / quality rating 8. The atmosphere is "roadhouse". This place has "open mic" nights, and sometimes live entertainment. The menu is a mix of well chosen sandwiches and some unique food ensembles. The dining area is open with a small bar. I had the Pesto Grilled Chicken Wrap. The wrap was a tomato/basil wrap, which was excellent. A generous amount of chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheddar. It came with potato chips, but for $2 or $3 more you can get fries or a salad with it. They have one beer and one cider on tap, and many canned and bottled beers. The wife had the Fiesta Bowl and especially liked the sweet potato in it. This place is certainly a great hangout, and they serve breakfast all day long! Friendly staff, and owner on the premises typically.

What a great little find. I stopped here with family this morning (Thank you for being open on New…read moreYears!), and was so pleasantly surprised. If you don't look and turn too quick, you can easily pass by without noticing. It has a small parking area out front, and it's clearly a local gem. This is not the place you go to for a high end meal. You won't find fancy dishes being served. Instead, you walk into this quaint storefront and a friendly cashier standing in front of the push pin menu board. This is where you go on a lazy morning when you want that home cooked meal feel without needing to do any of the work at home. Think potato buns cushioning a warm homemade sausage cut, a griddled egg, that melty sliced cheddar, and add on a perfectly crispy hash brown. It was like my favorite relative made it for me as I sat in my pajamas. Truly a trip worth stopping in for, and as an added boost, walk around their little shop while you wait. You won't regret it.

The coffee is hot and reminds you of a diner drip coffee. The sandwich Bacon, egg, and cheese (add a hash brown to the sammie with Salt, Pepper and Ketchup and you have a GEM! 5 out of 5! The sausage, egg, and cheese is just as good! They are serving these on potato buns...you read that correct.... And why the heck not. Going back tomorrow morning!

My girlfriend and I went to Le Perche for the first night of a monthly summer dinner series. We…read morehave been for brunch, for their fresh breads and for their many amazing baked goods, but Le Perche is rarely open for dinner so we did not know what to expect. Dinner was OUTSTANDING. We started with their signature focaccia, fresh out of the oven. Then, a seasonal Asparagus Tarte that was very much a deconstructed version: a delicious butter crust at the bottom of the plate, frisée lettuce, perfectly prepared asparagus topped with a pecorino creme vinaigrette. The perfect spring dish. Next was a Tuna crudo with ramp oil, watermelon radishes, fresh microgreens and toasted hazelnuts. Finally, their take on a Frisée aux Lardons, served with pickled figs. The lardons themselves were nicely crisped, and very satisfying. We had Negronis for cocktails, and a generous carafe of rose, served off the tap. All around one of the best meals I've had. Can't wait for the next menu that Chef Jeffrey Gimmel puts together. Apparently this is a monthly series, so keep a look out and don't miss the June dinner, guessing end of June on a Saturday night?

They did not have a long selection but whatever we tried was great. We had their French omelette which was delicious: kale pesto and poached eggs with a side of salad. The pesto was so good. We tried their French onion soup and cinnamon roll both of which were great. Service was great. The staff was sweet. Must visit if you're in Hudson.

Best hidden gem in the area!!!…read more Want a totally cool experience on a clear summers day? Want some place to take a kid to make their eyes widen in disbelief as a real airplane slowly moves up towards a fuel pump to refuel? Best breakfast/brunch (brunch on special occasions) in the area! Food is good, had the avocado toast! Eggs over medium! Hash browns with a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes. The biscuit that everything was over was definitely homemade! I absolutely enjoyed it! The wait staff was so accommodating. Asking the baby if she was old enough for a crayon to occupy herself. (Wasn't any air traffic on the crummy memorial day weekend) My wife had the biggest pancakes with a side of fresh cut fruit. The kids order of pancakes were huge too! The little sprouts used as a garnish really make it elegant! Really worth the ride if you're not local. Come on a clear day for a once and a lifetime experience!

On the lastest visit, had to ask three different employees for a coffee refill. Side orders of biscuits and gravy and corn beef hash were lost in the shuffle. Arrived 15 after the mains. Our waiter was trying her best but not getting any support from the young staff. She constantly had to remind them what they were there for. Chocolate shake never arrived. We left without it. They have a winning recipe with what they have built. But variations on what I described above has happened on every visit. Bring a book. Have a long chat with a friend. May be after an hour that chocolate shake will arrive
