Grilled cheese with goat cheese and arugula
    Wendy G.

My friend and I decided to split a sandwich from here to go along with salads we had gotten elsewhere in Paso Market Walk. We were helped by two sisters that look like they were identical twins, but they weren't. They were very polite and helpful. Once we ordered, we were given a food beeper so we could find ourselves a seat we're waiting for our food. It came out quickly and was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and made from scratch. The grilled cheese was a great compliment to our two salads and we found a lovely seat outside on a gorgeous day to enjoy our lunch. I definitely recommend the third degree if you have a chance to visit the Paso Market Walk!

    Bacon and avocado burger yummy!

We came here for lunch and it was solid. We got two burgers and chicken tenders for the kids. We got our burgers with fries and onion rings. The burgers were both delicious one had bacon and avocado and the other one was the one with sourdough and grilled onions. Both burgers tasted great and cooked nicely. We sat outside in the middle patio area and it was great for family and kids. The chicken tenders were great as wells

Very good meal to start the day! Servicer even brought to table even though they gave me a number to pick up from counter, very nice of them. Great spot in Paso Robles and nice cafe right next to them!

    Looks sooo good...!

The Third Degree is located in the Paso Market Walk 1825 Spring St in Paso Robles, CA. Easy to find, with decent parking...should you, my dear Yelp Review Reader(s), decide to go and go you should...getting there will not present any issues. Since this establishment is in fact in the Market Walk, you won't need to worry about getting a table and seating...there are plenty available, and there is an outdoor seating area as well. There are paper Menus or you can view the Menu Board in order to decide your choice of "eats". Upon deciding on our order, we stepped up to the counter and Daniel greeted us promptly. Daniel was courteous, helpful and accommodating. Thank-you for your Customer Service Daniel! With Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches and Paninis being the offerings here, we ordered a Salad - Berry Hill (WOW, this was "the bomb"...a definite 5/5), 2 Burgers - The Suspect (amazing taste...another 5/5), and The Lawyer (very yummy...4.5/5) and finally a Sandwich - 2X Crispy Buffalo Chicken (both could have been a bit juicier...4/5). From the Sides & Extras - Onion Rings w/Ranch (delicious...5/5). Our drinks...a Clown Shoes IPA , a Cliche Wine Seltzer and a Firestone Walker 805 Beer. The order was brought out to our table by Daniel (a nice courtesy) and our feasting began. Good conversation, great company, a very casual atmosphere and darn good food made for a memorable meal. Therefore, on this occasion...in this Yelper's opinion, The Third Degree "firing on all cylinders", truly earned this "highly recommend" 5 Star review.

Was trying out different meals from the local market. Decided to get a few items from this place. The burger was okay 3/5. The buffalo chicken wings were really good 4/5. The fries were thin and crispy 5/5. Good spot for American food.

Inside the Paso Market Walk, this is one of the three locations opened early morning. We were walking around looking for some breakfast at Third Degree happens to serve a few breakfast items including the delicious chorizo burrito. With a hint of spice and sides of sour cream and salsa (more spice if you like!), it's a greasy but oh-so-good breakfast! It's a pretty huge burrito so perfect for sharing with another. Great service, would be happy to come back!

Quick Summary Really good burger spot inside the Paso Market Walk. It's a fast-casual spot and you can eat in the Market Walk's community tables. Really liked their double fried French fries and the Interrogation burger Food- 5 stars French fries- I really love double fried French fries, and the Third Degree did a great job of them The Interrogation- really enjoyed this burger. Such an explosion of flavor with their signature Thousand island, combined with the cream cheese and jalapenos. Service- 5 stars Fast casual spot. Really fast and easy; food came out in 15 minutes Bottom Line Excellent burger spot to try some unique flavors / burgers. Definitely add on some fries!

I ordered the Prosecutor burger, with sweet potato fries, which was very tasty. The service was great prepare for a small wait due your food being freshly made to order. They give you a pager to alert you when your food is ready. The signage was very eye catching. They did not have dedicated seating therefore it's open seating among the many eateries and relaxing decor.

Previously operating her own daycare, test batches of Bread developed after an internet search often finding their way home with pupils and their parents, July 2025 finally saw Kopper open up shop at 1306 Pine Street where her goods now frequently sell-out daily. Working exclusively with a Sourdough starter named Dough-Rita, even Black Sheep's Cookies subject to traditional fermentation, guests now will find both sweet and savory treats alongside full loaves with clever names like "The Basic B" and "Mob Boss." Originally sold at the Paso Robles Farmers Market, opening of a storefront delayed as she relied on friends and family for everything from paint to plumbing, May 2026 now sees Paula regularly trying new things ranging from hefty Cinnamon Rolls to an absolutely stellar Sourdough Blondie that starts sweet and sticky before dissipating with an almost boozy sort of linger. Leaning into the "Black Sheep" name with some clever signage, a Sourdough "Cinny Roll" weighty beneath tangy Icing, those looking for something breakfast-y will note Scones and "Breaky Bombs," or their sweet brethren called "Lachee" filled with Fruit and Cream Cheese riffing on Czech Kolaches.

The steak was tender and well cooked, the avocado was fresh and the salsa was very flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My wife had the blackened tofu tacos and wasn't as thrilled as I was. She found them a little bit bland even with the peanut sauce and didn't understand putting cabbage on something that's already lettuce wrapped. Overall it was still a good experience and I'd definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

But if you're planning a visit, build in serious buffer time. We stopped in on Memorial Day and, with several parties ahead of us in line, didn't place our order until nearly 20 minutes after arriving. By the 45-minute mark, our food still hadn't come out for two paninis and a soup. What made it especially frustrating was watching parties who arrived after us get their cheese orders and drinks served before anyone had even started assembling our sandwiches. It was clear the shop was understaffed for the holiday weekend, with one person managing the counter and another in the back prepping. We ended up asking to take the sandwiches cold just to get out the door, only to have both stuffed into one small bag, sloppily wrapped. The soup, unfortunately, came out lukewarm regardless. None of this felt malicious. The shop has an unhurried, artisanal quality that's part of its appeal, but that can't fully account for the gap between the experience and a nearly hour-long wait for a simple lunch order while others moved ahead of us. Come for the cheese, come for the atmosphere. Just don't come hungry with anywhere to be.

This location has no indoor seating, it's all outdoor patio which is covered. Basic patio, not alot of character or ambiance. But so much potential. As I was sitting enjoying my food; I noticed a lot of folks taking their orders to go and many picking up catering. It's counter service and not particularly roomy inside with folks standing in line and others moving about can get crowded. We ordered a plain toasted bagel with roasted red pepper schmear. They are generous with the spread. Nice! Lactose intolerant me just popped a pill and indulged. And we also ordered a breakfast sandwich on croissant with bacon. Yum. That croissant wasn't flimsy but also not too dense either. The sandwich was picture prefect. Next time I'm in Paso, I'll give their downtown locale a go.
