We were looking for a walkable breakfast spot from our hotel in Paso and found Springside on Yelp, so we decided to try it out. The place looked really cozy and cute from the outside, and the inside had that same simple, homey vibe. We got seated right away and our server was so nice and friendly, which made the morning even better. We all ordered mimosas because why not, and they were a great start. I was craving pancakes, so I went for the short stack of buttermilk pancakes. Not sure if I was just hungry, but they were really good -- I finished the whole thing. My mom got the same plus eggs, and my brother ordered the corned beef hash, which looked delicious too. Overall, it was such a nice, yummy breakfast spot. I'd definitely go back the next time I'm in Paso.
What a nice little place! Was visiting Paso for an annual conference and happened to be out looking for some place quaint to eat. As I was driving I saw the sign for Springside and double backed. Glad I did! I got an omelette with a side of pancakes. Hands down the best pancakes I've ever had! Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
The fruit bowl at Springside Restaurant completely won me over. Overflowing with fresh, ripe fruit instead of the usual few pieces on the side, it set the tone for a fantastic breakfast. My California omelet was light and delicious, my husband's apricot cream cheese French toast was worth ordering, and the staff was genuinely kind and personable. Add in the relaxed patio, and it's exactly the kind of local breakfast spot we hope to find when we travel.
Sweet little spot very near the free pioneer museum. This is a quant house converted into a local breakfast/lunch spot. There is lots of outdoor seating and inside there is a wine bar . Standard breakfast offerings, the fruit we substitutes was locally grown & their salsa is homemade. Good prices & great service. We will go back again when visiting Paso.
4+ great little café located on one of the main street in Paso Robles. The service was great and there is seating inside and outside. Looking for a breakfast place conveniently located for most of the group we were with on the way out of town the day after a beer festival. We found this place and thought it looked perfect. Since I drank so much the day/ night before, I wanted something good but also something somewhat healthy. I ended up getting the veggie scramble, which came with potatoes and biscuit. I also ordered a coffee. I thought my food was great and the potatoes were nice and crispy. Overall, just a great place especially if it's a nice day sitting outside and eating a good meal. There's parking in the back lot. There's also plenty of street parking in the nearby area.
This is one of my go to places for quick breakfast! Every time I've gone I have been seated right away. I love that they allow dogs on their outdoor patio. Just remember to bring your own water bowl for them!

We arrived early, and it's a good thing we did because by the time we left it was packed! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, though the patio was closed due to rain when we ate here. Two of us ordered a scramble and the cambrian (egg plate that came with biscuits and gravy) to share, it was more than enough food for both of us and we ended up leaving a few bites of each behind. Both plates came with potatoes too, which were surprisingly crispy. Of the two items, the scramble seemed to be the winner. It was pretty flavorful since it was packed with green chilies and came with salsa that was really good. The Cambrian was less flavorful and needed a little bit of slat and pepper to help bring it to life. Overall a good breakfast option when visiting town if you're looking for a traditional and filling meal.
Good service, good food, and conveniently located. We came right when they open and we were probably seated. The server was very attentive. As for the food, the spinach and mushroom omelette was really good. The potatoes that came with it were cooked properly and very tasty. My only knock on the place had to do with the blueberry pancakes. It was mostly pancake and very little blueberries. In comparison to other places that have blueberry pancakes, these were light on the berries so that is a one star deduction there. Overall experience was very nice and I recommend you stop by for breakfast if you are early risers.
What looks like a cute little bungalow has been converted into a restaurant that is popular with the ladies. The food and service gets a 5 while the ambience gets a 4.5 only because the traffic is a bit loud if you sit outside. The iced tea is very special and the homemade strawberry muffins are a must have. I hade the tuna salad which came with the world's thickest honey mustard dressing-- more like a paste
Perfect spot to grab breakfast before a full day of wine tasting. The menu has all the classics, whether you're in a sweet or savory mood. The real star though was the fruit bowl. It came so expertly arranged it honestly looked like a little flower arrangement, but don't let that fool you, it was packed with a great variety of fruit that was cold and fresh. Bacon was good too, nice and crispy. Coffee cup was never empty, which is always appreciated. Service overall was perfect, unfussy, quick, and efficient, exactly what you want when you're trying to get fueled up and out the door for a day of tasting. read more
The food was good at this location, but the service put a damper on our experience. We went here because they are dog friendly. They seated us on the patio and gave us a list of all the rules that dog owners have to follow. The rules themselves were pretty standard, but then another group with a dog came and they sat them right next to us when there was plenty of space elsewhere on the patio. We couldn't enjoy our food as we had trouble keeping the dogs separated from each other. It was especially annoying because our server gave us a list of all the dog rules then sat a group with a dog right next to us. I did really like my meal. I got the country browns, essentially a Denver omelet. The portion was pretty generous and the patio was really nice. read more
We stopped by for lunch since it's close to the Electrify America charging station, where we were charging our car. We were greeted when we walked in and shown to a table. It was busy inside. It looks to be a popular local eatery. There is seating outside and inside. The inside was very nice with a moderate amount of seating. We looked over the menu and chose the chicken supreme sandwich with tortilla soup and the California chicken burger with fries. Our food came out within 10 minutes, which was fast. My husband really liked his chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a grilled chicken breast with cheese, BBQ sauce, tomatoes, sprouts and grilled onions. It was topped with sour cream. The soup was also very good. My California chicken burger was good, but the chicken breast was extremely dry and lacked seasoning. I had to add salt, and that made it better. There was bacon, avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion with a special sauce on it. The fries were perfect. I'd definitely stop by here again and try something else. Nice little breakfast and lunch place in Paso Robles close to main Highway. We were seated outside under the umbrellas. Very nice relaxed area on a quiet street. We met two other couples for brunch. All of us ordered breakfast and portions were large and tasty. Every item arrived nicely prepared and all together. The server was friendly and kept our water and coffee full. read more

Food and service was great. We have tried to eat here after church on a Sunday a few different times and it's usually very busy. Today we didn't have to wait and there was a table for my wife and I. They have indoor and outdoor dining available. The prices are fair for our little town. We would love to try again in the future. read more

This place was okay. It was an easy go to during our long lunch breaks from class at Cuesta so conveniency was a factor in picking this place. FOOD: I got the corned beef hash with over easy eggs and a toast. You had options of homemade muffin (usually orange cranberry), english muffin or toast (sourdough/wheat/white). This dish was $14.95 (Oct. 2022 pricing). Corned beef was seasoned well not too salty neither was it bland. I love the crisp from the flat top! The inside was not dry either just perfect for me. The eggs were perfectly over easy and runny which I love to dip my toast in. The potatoes were just rightfully seasoned and cooked. Overall, happy with what I ordered SERVICE: they were very accommodating with the orders of the rest of my table. The servers were very nice and attentive. The foods came out at a fair amount of time given we were a party of 12 lol. I don't think it took 30 minutes to get our foods to be honest and that's pretty impressive. I am giving 3 stars just because this place doesn't have the wow factor for me. It's good food and good service but not on the top of my list. It's pretty basic food. If homey and simple cooking is what you are looking for without breaking the bank then this place is for you! read more

Visited 20 July 2022 Springside Restaurant is a quaint little eatery just outside of the downtown area. When my friend and I get off the night shift, we look for different breakfast places to eat. This was today's option. We parked on the side road where there were a lot of open spaces. The parking is free. We walked inside and waited for the hostess to seat us. We opted for the outside since it seemed like a larger area and the temperature was still cool. The outside seating was a good choice except for the one fly that kept bugging us. From the Omlets colums, my friend got Garden Delight omelet: tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, spinash, mushrooms, and jack cheese topped with sour cream - $14.95, with a side of bacon - $5.95. He stated that he really enjoyed his meal. From the Eggs Citing column, I got the two eggs breakfast: 2 eggs, country style breakfast, wheat toast, add chorizo - $13.95. I had the eggs and chorizo scrambled together. My meal was delicious. I also got a hot chocolate - $3.50, which was not very chocolate-y. It was more milk than chocolate. Both our meals also came with a slice of cantalope and I also received a small serving of refried beans. Overall the means was good and the service was great. read more

This was an enjoyable & short walk from The Paso Robles Inn. We sat on the cute little patio & started with coffee with vanilla creamer. Our breakfast was served hot & tasted amazing!! My husband had the breakfast burrito & for me the Garden Scramble... both were delicious! We also had great service & were offered coffee's to go!! read more
Came here today for brunch with a larger crowd (there were nine of us). Half the group ordered breakfast (you can order the breakfast menu until 2) and the other half ordered lunch. A bunch of us got the apricot French toast to share and it was delish. I got the tuna melt with a side green salad, pickle, and ranch dressing. A bunch of us also got mimosas! They are the kind that come with a little bottle of champagne and mini orange juice pour so you can make it yourself. Everyone was satisfied with their food and we appreciated having a long table set up for us! Our waitress was very attentive despite having many other tables to check on as well. I just wished the coffee was a tad stronger and the potatoes a tad crispier, but that's a matter of preference. Would definitely come back! read more

My wife Lori and I had the wonderful experience of eating at Springside Restaurant for a late breakfast and it was delicious! I had the spinach and mushroom omelette (added tomatoes) with country potatoes, biscuit and a side of one pancake and Lori had the sausage scramble and a side of biscuit and gravy. Her entree came with salsa. We ordered coffee and I got an iced coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! Excellent ambiance (cottage style cozy home converted to a restaurant. Very tastefully decorated--no pun intended and the service was excellent! Magdalena was our waitress. Springside Restaurant is a great brunch spot in Paso. It appears to be a favorite with the locals. It's a charming house that was converted into a restaurant. It can get pretty busy during peak brunch hours but the prompt service ensures quick table turnover. They offer a wide variety of options for brunch from classics like Benedict's to scrambled eggs. We tried the Eggs Sonora and the Apricot French toast. Since it was part of the brunch option, it came with a side of fruit and drink. The drink options are coffee, tea, champagne, mimosa or juice. We tried the mimosas and they were good. They give a generous portion of fruit as well. The brunch portion is extremely generous and definitely worth the price! read more

Ordered takeout from here. The employee was helpful and took our order accurately. Food was ready in the timeframe promised and it was on point. Their pancakes are really fluffy and their fruit is outstanding! I like how they serve it in giant pieces instead of cubed. Solid breakfast place in the PR area! read more

If you're looking for a consistent and delicious breakfast look no further than Springside.. I'm a local and can tell you from the 20+ options in town this is by far one of the best. Do I come here every week hmm yes Do I venture off the menu here and there absolutely .... because even though I order almost the same thing every week, when I do try something new it becomes my new obsession... great staff... service is amazing and they always make you feel like a local.... I do enjoy their ambiance.... looking for a cute brunch place for a friend or someone special this place works for both.... and nothing beats a place that pours a great cop of coffee read more
