It's ok. Taste is 7 from 10. But not so fresh salad for me. This will be good with thousands Island dressing

Chances are if you know this place, you've been coming to dine here for years-it's like that. Older building tucked away in a corner of Murray with patrons that are on first-name basis with the staff. It's a friendly joint and one that takes a slower pace, which I appreciate. On a Sunday morning, there was no wait-not something I can say for most other breakfast places around. The food was good-nothing outstanding, but filled our bellies. The pancakes, while extremely large, lacked flavor and were pretty dry. So while it might not be the first on my list of places to return, I would probably come back when the other places have a long wait and I'm in the mood for quick and simple.

This was a pretty good, average breakfast. The menu was 1 page so not super extensive but had all the classics. It was great because it wasn't too greasy or oily which breakfast foods can often be.

Solid diner fare in an old but kind of pretty strip mall. Seems like the kind of place where everyone knows your name and the regulars have been coming here awhile. Waaay Better than Black Bear but still just simple, sometimes blandish diner/home cooking type food. No big standouts but still one of the better diner type places we've found in the SLC area.

Their side of fruit also included tomatoes and cucumbers.

Their menu highlights that they use the freshest ingredients, which is a lie. While ordering take out they said they use frozen meat. Don't lie, Anna's. The sourdough toast and waffles were floppy and soggy. The omelette and hash browns had zero seasoning. The pancake and waffle tasted like Bisquick. Do not waste your money here, even Denny's is better.

Their coffee was solid but the waffles on a stick shine as a novelty that are also delicious. It's easy to love a waffle that's actually convenient to eat. If you're not specifically looking for coffee then I would definitely suggest The Szuri Slurrie that's a blended fruity lemonade. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and happy to help. The decor is clean and the view is actually fantastic. For a shop on the bottom floor you get to watch trains pass by and stare at the wasatch range. I'll definitely be passing back through, as the owner is always looking for new flavors and perfecting his craft.

I enjoyed our coffee, but what really stood out were the waffles in a stick and hospitality! We met the owner (Steve) and heard his story. Knowing the shop is in honor of his late mother, made the food even better. We were able to try 3 different waffles. As you can see in the pics, we loved them!! Can't wait to return to try the pecan waffles, soup, and grilled cheese. They also serve some kind of non-coffee frozen drink that looked really refreshing! I'd highly recommend giving Geraldine's a try!

They looked pretty legit so we went and checked them out. Walking in, this joint is really neat. There's coffee bags lining the ceiling. There's a couple old chairs that you can chill at in the corner surrounded by plants. The light was shining brightly through the windows. It has a very chill, easy vibe here. We got a couple drinks ordered and a CaBreezy panini started. I got myself an iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. My sister got a hot peppermint mocha. We chilled at the 2 big old chairs while our goodies were being prepared. My drink was so good! I did add a packet of Splenda and some cinnamon to my coffee, so tasty!! I appreciate that my americano wasn't watered down. I didn't get to try my sister's drink but she said it was really good! We did share the CaBreezy panini. It was delicious! It was balanced pesto, balsamic glaze and mozzarella. The tomato was fresh and ripe. The ciabatta was warm and crispy. I probably could have had another half but we are trying to save room for dinner. It was nice chillin here for a bit. Everything was great. The barista that was working did a great job on our drinks and food. Happy I got to check out this local coffee joint on this beautiful Sunday.

There is a lot more seating outside so would be a good spot to go when it's warmer out too!

I ordered the snickers in hopes it would be sweet but not overpowering. Maybe that was my mistake. I saw it and I was already nervous. The entire drink was dark brown. It looked like chocolate milk. Which idk, maybe that's what it's supposed to look like, but oh my goodness I couldn't even taste the extra shot of espresso I ordered. Literally straight hersheys syrup. So I poured half of it out, added some almond milk and it's still pretty concentrated. Idk I'm not the kind of person to veto a place for making one bad drink, but I like my coffee to taste like coffee lol. Hopefully next time I go it does! In other news, the raspberry muffin was yummy!

Immediately I liked the vibe-it's an edgy, totally local and co-created space with folks from the area. There is a bulletin board in the vestibule with fliers and posters about current events and services-totally haphazard and chaotic. Inside, there's art all over the place, unique decor and a calendar of events that look to be different support groups that meet here. How cool. This isn't a polished, bougie or uptight place. This is for real folks with real personalities and a bit of grit. And I like it. The coffee's pretty good too. ;-)
