A hidden gem in chino/ontario area! Our family came in for pedicures on Wednesday and were greeted with roughly a 30-minute wait time. Once we were seated, they helped us right away. They're incredibly gentle and thoughtful while working on your nails. I've had rough experiences elsewhere--even to the point of bleeding... but this place is the complete opposite. They're gentle, yet thorough, and still manage to remove all the dead skin and nail buildup effectively. Very AFFORDABLE here!! My only concern here is that they only had 2 nail techs working? I started coming to this spa a few months ago and I love my nails. I originally came in and got in a full acrylic set French tip. I kept those nails on for two months, crazy I know but I didn't need a fill at two weeks so I would just go in for a color change. I got one fill at 4 weeks. Now I went in and asked for a whole new set since my natural nail nail grew out. I've been getting my nails done by Thu she is amazing this set we did sculpted gel with metallic gold. And for my pedicure it felt so nice with the hot stones and hot towel. Definitely recommend coming to this spa. read more

This nail salon is really great. The technicians are very pleasant and greet all with a smile and hello. I enjoy getting my pedicure and manicure are always great. On draw back to this place. It could use some tlc. It is a little worn and unorganized. Also, one technician brings her young son to the salon. He is just a child, however, very disruptive to the business. He sat at one of the stations and had his feet all over it, one of the technicians brings out and sets up a hammock for him. This is totally unprofessional for a business that MUST practice sanitary means at all times. I hope they correct this issue as children cannot be supervised properly when they have clients all day long. The technicians take time away from their clients so they can attend the young child's needs. read more

I've gone to Cielo Mio off and on since about 2015. I always have Tina as my technician. Honestly, I'm picky about my nails - I've been getting acrylics since about 1986, so it's safe to say I've had my share. I adore Tina and the techs at Cielo Mio because they take their time, get to know their customers, and take good care of them. When my son got married back in 2019, they basically shut the salon down for a couple of hours so the bridal party could get manis and pedis. I don't live in La Verne anymore, so I don't get over there too often, but I always make a point of it when I have the time. They're worth it. read more

writing this review for future CHROME NAILS reference. Tip #1: if you decide to get chrome nails whether is a pedicure or manicure. PLEASE let them know ahead of time the nail color you would like. I say this because I picked one of their white chrome nails and she ended up giving me clear coat with chrome and my toe nails looked silver chrome at the end. So take your SPECIFIC color that YOU want in mind. I made the mistake of not specifying my WHITE color but in my defense, I picked one of their samples and trusted their judgement. Chrome is a $10 charge. Gel is a $15 charge. My pedicure came out to $57, excluding tip. Experience: they did not let me know the $10 charge of chrome nails after the fact that it was on my toes. The nice lady that was working on me, was asking the male employee for directions of the white chrome nail. I was watching trial and error the whole process. I asked her if it was her first time doing them and she just smiled and nodded. from personal experience of chrome nails. you're suppose to chose a color for your base, then just add the chrome dust. very simple but I feel like because it was her first time doing them, it took her longer than expected. she put a clear coat on me, did the chrome dust, back to clear coat, and proceeded, one nail at a time instead of doing them all together. So I got charged for that :) definitely learned my lesson today for trying something new and not sticking with my true white go to. read more

Pedicure was fine, just got the classic from their menu and the only complaint I have is first the water was too cold then it was way too hot and they didn't add anything to it, was just plain water. It's the full set I got that I'm totally disappointed with. I wanted square with rounded edges and it seems like all my nails came out different shapes with one being completely lopsided. Also, i chose a light pink color for the gel polish and as soon as she started painting i was afraid of problems. The paint seemed too thick and the paint strokes are noticeable. She did 2 coats and the paint job is just all wonky. My nails look sloppy and uneven. I'll never come back for another manicure again. Will be back for a simple pedicure though. I have to update this...the next morning I put on shoes and socks for work and noticed that one of toes was hurting, just a slight twinge of pain. Felt it all day and by the end of the day I felt like I couldn't so much as move without the pain. Finally got home and took my sock off and examined my toe. She cut me, there's a small scab forming near my nail bed. I pray this doesn't lead to an infection. Now I must say that I'll not be going back to this salon for anything. So disappointing as I live so close. read more

Just went to get my nails done which I rarely do because it's expensive. I came in to get a dip manicure. I don't know the name of the lady that did my nails, but ouch. I came out with bleeding cuticles and a bubble in one of the nails. When I pointed it out to her, she said "no". I said, "you don't that see that?" And again she said no and proceeded to finish my nails when there was clearly a small bubble where it looks chipped. I'm so upset because it takes a long time to get this service done and is not cheap. Will not be coming here again. read more

This nail salon is actually walking distance from my home, but I have never tried it because I faithfully attend one in Chino. However, on a day where I really didn't feel like taking the drive, I decided to pop in on a Wednesday morning and get a pedicure. I arrived shortly after they opened and there were people already being attended to, but they were able to see me right away. Everyone was nice and my pedicurist was very friendly. The place was clean and the massage chairs seemed to be on the newer side. Some salons offer water or something to drink, there was none of that here. Not that it's a negative, I don't necessarily need severe pampering, but some people may want to know that info. My biggest gripe with this place is the price and what you get for that price. Prior to finding my favorite spot, I have tried a few places in the area - and this place is more expensive than all of them. What really upset me is that I paid $5 extra for the treatment with the callus remover, and what I got was no different than what I'm used to for a standard pedicure. Typically, when I pay for a callus remover treatment, my feet are wrapped in plastic with some kind of liquid/lotion, and then the pedicurist spends a good amount of time working on my calluses. That's not what I received here at all. You know when you get a standard pedicure and they scrub your feet with a pumice stone for a bit and then rinse it? That's basically what I got. At first I thought she may have been confused with the treatment I selected, but massages do not come with the standard pedicure, and she did give me a massage (massages come with standard pedicures most everywhere else too). I ended up spending about $32 dollars for a very regular shmegular pedicure. In my opinion, not worth it. read more

I do not recommend this place at all for many reasons 1. They don't speak any English 2. They talk amongst themselves always which makes people fell so uncomfortable. 3. They messed up on my nails I called them the day after they were done and they gave me an attitude when I went to get it fixed 2 days later another nail falls of I call them again and again they had such a horrible attitude. It felt like the whole time they were talking about me because I complained. Not once was I rude or disrespectful but I paid for my nails it's not like I was asking for anything for free. And I understand ok they made a mistake and they are falling off rite away but to have such a horrible attitude is wrong. Their pedicures are the best in Ontario area. I have not found another place that does a clean job with my pedis. I do not do my actual hand nails here so I can not recommend that but the pedicures are always a hit. All of the workers do an amazing job and are very friendly. read more

My husband and I are celebrating our first anniversary this weekend in Jamaica, so I figured it was the perfect time to talk him getting a pedicure (I've been trying to convince him for a year now that men do Do this too). He finally said yes so I yelped a bunch of places and settled on this one, I'm so happy I did. Let me start by saying I'm a huge germ freak, and this place was CLEAN and not run-downed feeling at all. And 30$ for the both of us combined??? Can't beat that!! Quinn (?) did my pedicure, and a gentlemen did my hubs. She was friendly, talkative, and made sure everything was to my liking. My toenails are even, painted pretty, and feet as soft as butter. And guess what.. Hubs actually enjoyed it. We both left the place feeling relaxed and relieved in knowing that we won't be embarrassed about our feet. Never been here before so I came in to try it out. At first it seemed great, nice seats and well kept. Then I asked for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. So I sit down and start soaking my feet. Then I picked which package I wanted. And I picked a combo for $61, which originally I thought was great. Then the guy is about to start on my manicure and tells me gel is an additional $13, which is outrageous on top of the $5 they charged to remove my gel. In between a costumer walked in to get a fill and all 4 employees just looked at her and began speaking to each other and never acknowledged her. She walked out after a few minutes and I found that extremely rude. While they man was in the middle of my manicure he left for 25-30 minutes to help another customer so I was just sitting waiting. Then after I told him I did not want gel because of the price he did a clear coat then started painting my nails a random color he just picked up. Needless to say I was less than impressed with their prices and professionalism and most likely will not be back. read more

NO... At first this place was great. I use to come regularly but work got in the way of my manicures. Slowly it has just been getting sloppy, my gel polish would lift in the corners less than 24 hours later, and I don't have the time or desire to come back and get it fixed... This last time I went and overall the experience was BAAAD. I wanted a color they had on the gel wheel, and then when I wanted to point it out to her later, she said they are all the same... the color was not there, I knew what shade it was, but she insisted so I gave up. I just went with a different color. Then she finishes the gel color, and completely forgot I had asked for a package so I can get paraffin and the massage for my hands... the lady doing my pedicure reminded her and then she did it... ok fine... I paid, and left. Irked about the whole experience I went home and sure enough... less than 24 hours later (heck... 7 hours later), I look at my nails and the polish is already lifting. When I looked closer, my cuticles looked terrible! I mean... I could have done a better job... with my left hand... o.0 I did nails for 3 years... yes I am a licensed manicurist, and this is just sloppy. Sorry... no matter how convenient it is for me to go to this place... I will not go back here again, that was the last straw for me. Does customer service exist anymore? Walk in, and I was greeted. I was asked if I had an appointment, I told her no and I was willing to come back. She said no, that its OK. I get seated, feet in water. Tools are out and ready to go. Here comes 2 more customers after me. She fills water, seats them. Then starts to work on the lady that came in after me. No communication was made with me. I sit there and finally ask how long before someone starts on my service. Im told 15 min. I get up dry my feet and leave. I've visited Red Persimmon on Grove, True Nails on Euclid, Lovely Nails Spa & Hair on Grove, Rainbow Nail & Spa on Grove, Elegant Garden on Euclid, Fun Nail on Euclid, Queen Nail on Archibald. I'm a busy mom that works full time, kids, sports, kids school etc, etc. Now that I'm 38 and have been doing my nails on and off since I was 18, we know a good spot when we find one, right girls. Ok my checklist for a nail spot: -Clean -Great customer service (& don't feel like ppl are talking about you in their own language). -When staff tries to talk to you and are friendly. - ***Takes their time on a pedi -*** Spends more that 3 minutes on the massage during pedi. -Affordable or at least prices for what you get. -Quiet( I go for relaxing time) - ppl be considerate, leave the kiddos home if you can. Ok out of all the local spots listed, this is the only one that hits all of my list. A pedi is gonna run you about $17-27+ based on what you want. I've picked from the lowest to highest option.....doesn't disappoint one bit. They take their time and use good products. Scrubs, hot stones, hot towel wraps, etc. Yes it a couple bucks more than most, but you won't leave unhappy. I hate when I have a bad pedi, because I'm usually excited about 'me time.' I think I've had all of the ladies in there work on my pedi at some point or another in the span of about 7 years, they have ALL done great!!! Had my nails done by the gentleman in there. Do not go here!! They are lazy and do not do a good job. I went in to have a cracked nail fixed (which I just had repaired here during my pedicure a few days ago). They remove gel polish the lazy way by only using an electric file. They also over file shock thins out the nail. She kept twisting my toe for her convenience even after I told her it hurt. She did a sloppy polish job and made a sorry attempt to fix it (which she didn't)and got upset about it. I'd give this place no stars it was an option. read more
