Cielo is absolutely stunning the decor is amazing and had a fabulous time. Food and service is great and Charles is a treasure.

The restaurant is beautiful and romantic, we came in with our little kids and my mom while on vacation. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. All of the meals were fresh and delicious , the dessert could have been better if the pineapple upside down cake would have been served warm. Overall great place!

Beautiful restaurant with a wonderful menu. Service was top notch. I've never had squid ink pasta and wasn't sure what to think since I'm not a fan of squid but I'm glad I trusted the sever with his recommendation!

Anyone who follows my dining reviews knows that I rarely ever award 5 to a restaurant. To receive accolades on this level from me means the experience has to be exceptional. And our dinner at Cielo ticked off all the boxes. The minute you step through the door, you know you're in a fine dining establishment. From the white linen table cloths set with Pina lights to the elegant bar area, from the beautiful artwork that adorns the walls to the thoughtful window treatments ... and then there is Scott, the delightful piano player who visited each table introducing himself and asking if we had any requests. This is where the well-heeled on Sanibel, Captiva and Fort Meyers dine. How refreshing to be among patrons who dressed appropriately for the occasion - like my husband and I always do - showing respect to the owner of Cielo, its managers, chef and dedicated team. Our dinner started with two superb adult libations. Lots of fun cocktails to choose from! Mine was called What She's Having and my husband chose One For Mary Jo. Both were very good and recommended. It doesn't usually happen this way but we both made the same choices for our meals. The Escargot Rockefeller was over-the-top delicious. Ditto the Veal Scallopini Milanese, a divine and generous presentation of veal cutlet with Gorgonzola served over salad. We did not have room for dessert, unfortunately. It was getting late and we didn't want to hold up the staff. But we did enjoy a double espresso which was served with a chocolate biscotti. Spot-on! Cielo's is among our top picks for fine dining on Sanibel. We can't wait to return. Be sure to experience it!

Manager was very rude and the cook is somehow unable to chop a salad. 3% extra surcharge added to the bill for no apparent reason.

It was early and there was only one other table seated when we arrived. We were curious about the fried banana pepper and ordered it as an appetizer. Friend ordered the chicken and salad and I ordered a sausage sandwich (served with peppers and onions in a pita) and rice. The fried pepper was delicious, if a bit overpriced. It was good but I'm not sure I'll order it again based on the price. The chicken and salad was, as usual, really good with being large enough to take some home for another meal. The sausage was really good with an unusual flavor, but extremely small (3" or so). The rice was just rice. Of course, we'll go back. I'll stick with the salads, probably.

Everything we tried was awesome, but we really went crazy and ordered the "Greek chow mein" and it did not disappoint. The best way to describe it, it is like a Greek fajita, loaded with gyro meat, seasoning, and tons of flavor. It was creative, satisfying, and completely delicious. The food felt generous (the portion was huge for the chow mein), comforting, and thoughtfully prepared, and every bite just worked. This is the kind of place where you order something a little different and feel rewarded for it. If you're craving Greek food, Nomiki's is a must. Easy five stars and a place I'd happily return to without hesitation.

Four stars for the current "soft opening" of the new Fort Myers location of Go Pita…read more I went in with one other person to not only check out the prices, but to purchase a lunch to share. We walked in to a clean location, as they are still so new, the artwork is not all hung up (but some looked like they were for sale). The staff were very friendly but unsure of deviations from the menu. There are a few two top tables inside as well as a few outside the building to be able to be able to enjoy a healthy meal in the Florida sun. We were looking for a Greek Salad to be turned into two pita sandwiches (/ pockets). The staff said it is not on the menu and cannot be made. Looking over the rest of the menu, the prices of everything seems comparable to places we've been in, and from the way things were lined up behind the counter, it seemed cooked and ready to be made into what type of (pita, bowl) you were looking for. We were going to just purchase the salad and asked for a pita, to which we were told "the pita is a side item" (costing extra). We started to leave when the owner was summoned. He and his wife were so cordial and aimed to please us. We ended up purchasing a lovely fresh Greek Salad (the pickled onions are a true stand out) and were given a fresh off the griddle (aka warmed) pita. We were also offered a sample of tzatziki sauce as well as a sample of hummus. The Greek dressing was also in a sample cup, as to not empower or drown the salad. After completing the transaction, we thanked the staff and owners for the conversations and meal, and wished them the best of luck, in this, their second location. Conventionally located at the corner of College Parkway and Winkler Road, we can certainly see how it would be an easy stop for a quick lunch.

The atmosphere is nice and my husband and I were excited to try the food. We ordered mozzarella skewers as an appetizer. When it arrived it was not skewers, it was mozzarella caprese. I asked our waiter about it and he explained that "the kitchen is out of cherry tomatoes." He didn't ask us if the substitution was okay with us, he just dropped off the food and left. It was fine, but not what we ordered. Next, came our salads, nothing special, mostly red cabbage and the white chunky parts of iceberg lettuce. Twenty minutes later, we finally received our entrées. My husband ordered Carbonara, one of his favorites. What he received was the thinest cream sauce we have ever seen. The sauce was thiner than milk. It was definatly not the rich, thick cream sauce he was looking forward to. I ordered Chicken Francaise. What I recieved was a single piece of chicken (half a breast) breaded on top of a pile of spagatti in a broth. The lemon butter wine sauce, was more like a light ckicken broth. I did taste some lemon after squeezing the lemon garnish over the chicken though. When we asked the waiter about the long wait time and asked him why the sauce was so thin he gave no explanation, told us "thank you" and walked away. He came back two minutes later and asked me if he could offer me another glass of wine. I thought that he was trying to make up for the disapointing food. Clearly not, I was charged for the second glass of wine he offered which brought our disapointing dinner to a full charge total of $70. Needless to say we will not be going back!
