Excellent dining experience in Coconut Point. We were a party of 5 and everyone loved their dishes. We had the happy hour burrata salad so good. Their bread is to die for. Our server Matt was wonderful. They've only been open a few months but they are doing a great job and our group will be back sooner than later.

    Interior

Locating a place with Happy Hour + vegetarian options to meet people after a long flight can be tricky. Enter Casa Blu. I was quite happy with the taste of the Margherita pizza . Our group ordered a variety of items from the happy hour menu, but most of what they had was beverage: beer and wine. Nicely done interior. As a food photographer (off duty), this would be a great space for a photo shoot. To make the pizza a bit more visually appealing, plan where to place basil better.

Unexpected Mediterranean gem! We stumbled upon this spot and were genuinely impressed. The interior is chic, beautifully designed, and sets the tone for a great dining experience. They have a thoughtful wine selection--our Albariño was incredibly smooth. The menu is on the smaller side, but everything we tried was packed with flavor. We were a group of seven and ordered several dishes to share. The charred octopus with potatoes was a standout--so good we ended up ordering three plates. The mussels were also excellent, and the wood-fired pizza was a definite crowd-pleaser. The branzino came as a surprisingly generous portion with potatoes and salad, easily enough for two people to share. We finished with the tiramisu, which was exquisite and the perfect sweet ending. The owners were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, which made the experience even better. We're already looking forward to coming back to this new Mediterranean getaway.

Craving that burrata, steak tartare, striped bass, cocktails and bread. Back North, and missing our friends at Casa Blu and the great vibe and warmth of spirit from every single person who is a team member there. Here's the plan: land at RSW. Drop bags. Head to Casa Blu.

Delicious food, friendly staff, decor is nice, and I like the open air kitchen. We had the Bucatini al Pesto, Honey and Brie Pizza, the Tiramisu Tres Leches, and the Lemon Cake - Great flavors! We enjoyed hearing from one of the owners the history of the family and their Bolivian roots. We will be back!

The presentation of their octopus was delightful however it was extremely tough and difficult to eat.

I am still going to give this restaurant 5 stars because I absolutely love the atmosphere. I could sit in the bar all night and listen to the pianist play songs. There are zero TV's at the bar and the pianist really makes for an enjoyable night. Up first, I had an $18 Ember in Bloom which consists of: Los Vecinos Mezcal, Aperol, Watermelon Juice, Lime, Salt & Lime Zest Rim. Served on the Rocks. I thought it was pretty good, and better than most. It at least had a moderately smoky taste. I think I'm just extreme on liking drinks smoky. Then, I had the $15 Caesar salad. It was pretty standard. Nothing spectacular or bad, just standard. I was pretty starved so I got 2 entrees: $24 Meatball & Mushroom Pizza: Meatball, Fonduta Sauce, Caramelized Onion, Mushroom, Mozzarella, Basil, Parmigiano-Reggiano $28 Pappardelle 'Capri': Handcut Pappardelle, San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Basil, Buffalo Mozzarella, Sorrento Lemon Olive Oil I thought the pizza was fine. Once again, very good, but nothing spectacular. And the same goes for the pasta. Maybe I ordered the wrong things, but I wasn't particularly blown away by the food here. Like I said, a cool place to come relax and listen to the pianist.

But the rest of the table ate it up) The flat bread was great too. It had black olives, figs, tomatoes and lots of cheese. For dinner we each ordered something different. I got the crab cake stuffed Salmon with seasoned spinach and mashed topped with, what i think the waitress said was lobster sauce.. altho my friend that got the seafood risotto was supposed to have the same sauce on top but hers was a much more red color. The risotto was another great dish. It had scallops, big shrimps and muscles in it. Cooked perfectly. My friend had the Sicilian Penne. He said: It was a delicious pasta dish with sausage and cannellini beans. The Gorgonzola cheese was an amazing addition that really took the dish to the next level. Our server Sydney was great. She let us know they were short staffed some wait ataff and she may have been backed up (there was probably 6 tables in there at the time idk.. where I waitress i have a 12 table station, and its fast paced..) but she still a great job. Here's a little bit of advice, if you want 'authentic' italian food, this is the place to come. If you are looking for eggplant parm, or spaghetti and meatballs, go to an Olive Garden. My husband has a very restrictive diet and the Chef went out of her way to accommodate his dietary restrictions. The burrata is true burrata (not BelGioioso from Publix), the prosciutto is a San Daniele (the best that there is in Italy), the balsamic drizzle was wonderfully thick. I didn't lick the plate because I was too embarrassed to! Dessert: Cannoli Siciliani definitely home made because they brought me back to my 10 years in Italy. I would like to eat the whole menu but we go there after our semi-annual appointments with our cardiologists and have to be cautious. They are in this location because it was available. In my opinion there is not enough traffic, and not enough people are going to discover this absolute gem for them to achieve the success they deserve.
