Located inside Bally's, across the hall from the Smoke Lounge and Club, is one of our favorite restaurants in Lake Tahoe, Ciera Steak + Chophouse! Here service is second to none. Love the attention to detail. This was our 5th time here and didn't disappoint. The food is always perfect. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Never have I had anything not cooked right! I've tried a lot and let me tell you, the bone in rib-eye medium rare!!! Everything is clean, elegant and elevated. *Don't change a thing*

Amazing service with impeccable timing! Our server John was very well experienced server who made our dinner here very special for my husband's birthday. French onion soup was as amazing as it looks, flavorful and cheesy and very delicious, and my chopped salad (it was leaf salad, not chopped though) was very delicate but tasty with chopped avocado and tomato. But the main dish, their famous 30oz tomahawk wagyu stake was just out of the world. It's not just the size. It's the quality of the meat and the way chef grilled it. Perfect. I wish you'll try it someday. I'd come back here again when we want to have a great food with amazing service.

Ciera was a good restaurant overall but not one I'd return to. The price point does not match the quality i'd expect at a ''nicer" steakhouse. The decor was stuck in the 90s and I did not like the layout. It felt very odd seeing the kitchen and area the waiters hung out. We ordered our meat medium rare and the prime rib came out exactly as requested. The filet was closer to medium well. The prime rib was also on the semi cold on the outside like it was just heat up. The Mac and cheese was very good. Overall our dinner was good, but Ciera is not a place we would return to with so many good dining options similar in price in the area.

We came here with good friends to celebrate a share a mid-holiday meal together. Our server John, was absolutely amazing and perfectly executed superior service throughout the night together with his teammates. My wife and I had the Chateaubriand for two (a favorite of ours) and one of our friends tried the pork chop and the other had the Salmon made gluten free. Sitting in a private booth was nice and made more private as we dined with the pull of curtains and we were in our own celebratory world! Dessert was also epic. We tried and shared a slice of cheesecake, lava cake and berries & whipped cream. Each was magnificently prepared and delivered. The only drawback coming here for me is the same as any casino restaurant: having to walk through cigarette & cigar smoke. This restaurant is also directly across from a cigar bar, which was thankfully empty...! We would definitely eat here again and suggest it to friends for a future meal! Be sure to make reservations...! Open Table is their chosen method. Enjoy!

Visited this place as a nice dinner for an anniversary and before heading to the Hockey game next door and it was a great experience! The atmosphere is that old school low lit steak house with great service. The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was good. The asparagus with the cheese on it was different that I had ever had so that was a welcomed surprise. The lobster bisque was creamy and buttery and had an overall good flavor profile. Will definitely be back next time in Tahoe.

We love the ambience of the red, private dining booth. The service is always impeccable! The martinis are huge! The food is delicious, we love the carpaccio, the French onion soup, the bacon wrapped fillet, the potatoes gratin, it is all amazing! We do wish they would bring back the dry ice!! There are so many new restaurants coming into South Lake, the dry ice sets you apart from all of them and gosh darn it, it's just cool!

Are here last night right before the knight Monsters hockey game. The service was impressive and the food super delicious! The restaurant had a fancy old school vibe with cool private curtain around our table. Very privet and romantic! Our steak was tender and perfectly seasoned. The lobster bisque was creamy and super tasty and one of the best iv tasted. My favorite was the white truffle Mac and cheese and it was soooo good!! I want more!! The asparagus was good it was my husband's and he liked it. I would totally recommend abc say this steak house was a hit!! You will not be disappointed!

We made this reservation to celebrate the Fourth of July because a friend recommended it. When we got there on the fourth they told us that they weren't offering their prix fixe menu because of the holiday. We asked the hostess in person if they were offering their prix fixe the next day and she said yes so we changed our reservation. 6:00 pm July 5th we get to the restaurant and they tell us that they're still not doing the prix fixe ... we had already looked up the menu, decided on what we were going to order and we were excited for our dinner but we were incredibly disappointed when we arrived. We ended up eating there anyway since we were already there and the restaurant was maybe 1/2-3/4 full. We were also told that the chef decided that day that he wasn't going to offer the prix fixe so that definitely added to our disappointment. We started off this dinner with a pretty negative experience but they comped our wine so that was really nice of them. For the food, $70 for the New York strip with no sides was quite pricey (but I guess that's Tahoe pricing?). The lamb was delicious and that came in a full rack. Highly recommend the escargot as well - this was probably our favorite. Overall I don't think we'll be coming back but we had a wonderful server who definitely elevated our dining experience.

Never have i been to a more racist restaurant. Completely in shock! They put us in a boot that was very private. At first I thought it was nice until I noticed all the white people in the main restaurant, and everyone of color hidden in these dark booths with curtains. We have been staying at this Hotel spending our money for four days and this is the treatment we get. If you're going to spend money on a good meal and good experience I would highly recommend going to the Wolf not here! The Wolf had excellent food good vibe and very friendly staff. When we dinned at the Wolf the staff was very attentive,Here they took our order and gave us bread. They partly closed our curtains and we didn't see them till our food arrived. In comparison I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass at both restaurants. Hands down Wolf even had the better meal.

We came here for a birthday/date night. We made a reservation and was seated right away. Service was great and they're very attentive. I did feel like they were rushing us throughout. I like to enjoy my dinner and not ordering right away. But, they were nice when I told them I was not ready. Anyways, I was a little disappointed when I found out that they were not doing the prefixe menu for the whole weekend. I wish they would have posted that online before I made the reservation. Either way, the food was amazing. We had carpaccio and lobster bisque to start our night. They were both very tasty. Very pricey but, they were delicious. For entree, I had the duck and my husband ordered the linguine. I must say, the duck skin was probably the best part of the entree. I wish they had more on the side. The seafood linguine was absolutely delicious. The serving was pretty large and the food was great. We ended with their flourless cake! Perfect way to end the night. Overall, a great visit. Expect to spend 200+ for some apps, entrees, and drinks.

One of the best dinner experiences we have had in South Lake Tahoe. The private booths with curtains are amazing and we were really wowed with this. They have a pre-fixe menu but they were not offering it on the day we visited due to it being the holidays. Nevertheless we ordered the escargot, lobster tempura for appetizers & lamb chops and filet Oscar for main course. All the dishes were incredible. Drinks were wonderful. The staff was amazing & courteous. We ended with the chocolate lava cake dessert. In the end we were offered chocolate covered strawberries which were a nice gesture. Definitely something we would love visiting again and again for celebrations. Tip: if you choose to park in the self parking, the first hour at ballys is always free but you can go to casino cashier and they will validate parking for you for the time of your dinner.

When we were seated they seated us directly against a wall with very limited table space for four girls. We ordered wine flights (actually a great deal 4 wines for $25) and apps. We all were very hungry as we just got off a plane but they don't really have anything that is meal worthy more or less just small bites. The burrata was so yummy but the toasts were a little hard. Buffalo cauliflower dip was great and I loved the combination because I would've never thought to have a dip with cauliflower, cheese and buffalo sauce! When we ordered the apps we didn't have any table space left and the waiter took quite a while to pick up our prior plates and bring our bill. If you want outdoor seating I would recommend you go early as it fills up very fast and anything over two people will be hard to get in.
