This is one of those reviews I struggle to write because even though my visit was 5 stars and I found this place enchanting, whimsical while also being dark and sexy, I just want to keep the secret of this place all to myself. Alas, I like the yelp community so I'll share... this place is amazing. Finding it is a treat in itself- it's a windy garden corridor between two buildings, leading you to the back. On the night we visited, it was lit up and it felt like we found something from Alice in wonderland. Except it was Alice In Wonderland with cigars and booze. We did not smoke, but we did enjoy a few beers and vodka sodas. They did have what appeared to be a separate well ticked cigar shop area for those who appreciate such. Will I be back- yes. A very cool cigar shop with great ambience! The bartenders who I dealt with (Ashley) and Raul (owner) know how to provide great customer service. They made the extra effort to ensure we got the cigars we were looking for and suggested other cigars that may be of similar palette. They were very attentive and overall very nice. The place is really cool and has ample space. The music they played near the bar was loungey, but cigar loungey :). They have another room that had different music and a lot of tables and chairs. The other room also had a pool table. They have a decent size humidor and carry a lot of the cigars I like (Oliva Melanio, Arturo Fuente anything, Esteban Carerra Mr. Brownstone). They know cigars and are good about suggesting like ones. Definitely a great place to enjoy a cigar or two with some yummy beer or wine. Believe they carry liquor too. read more

Yo so this place has the friendliest staff, great selection of cigar, and even a pool table with a big back airy room and a patio. It's like all the cigar lounges in SD put together and add a speakeasy vibe (entrance on the alley btwn 4th and 5th). I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I went by myself on a Thursday night to grab a stick and get some work done. I sat at the bar, did some performance reviews on my laptop, and watched a ballgame. I was recently in cigar cave. I am currently visiting friends in San Diego and looked for the best place to have a cigar and a drink. Was absolutely blown away after arriving at the cigar cave loved the Charming fun entrance the artwork the colors walked into the cave met the owner and his staff who were as hospitable Charming caring and fun as could be. First time here (1/13/18), and I love the vibe!! The pool room and couches in the back and the main lounge is awesome too. The drinks are great and the host gave superb service getting our cigar, punching it, lighting it and getting our drinks!
