Had an amazing experience at Cilantros Mexican Grill! The service and ambiance were excellent from the moment we walked in. The food was just as impressive, everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. I ordered the Quesabirria, Chimichanga, and Flan, and every dish was fantastic. The meat was cooked perfectly, the rice and beans were surprisingly delicious on their own, and the flan was the perfect sweet finish to the meal. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for great Mexican food and a great dining atmosphere! read more

We had an impromptu meeting with 10 people and we got seated near the bar which was great! The restaurant was packed and the waiter did his best to keep up with everything but fell short in a couple of areas (checks being crossed, ie hamburger on a ticket that didn't get a burger). The lady next to me got a chicken plate and I got the beef and we switched the meat out. Chips and salsa were good. But the rest of my meal Cancun plate was lacking flavor. This is our go to lunch spot. They have a great lunch menu with great prices. Also, if you sit in the bar they have great HH specials for both food and drinks. The portions are great. Enchiladas are tasty. Flautas are perfect. Soups are great with excellent additions. They also have a rewards program. Be sure to ask your server. read more

Bottom line up front: The food is great, the service is not. Cilantro's is an expensive restaurant with a building almost identical in exterior to Perry's steakhouse, but an unfortunate lack of visibility from the hood highway. Ot is square behind " Bahama Mamas" CBD store, and so you have to be looking for it to find it. Once located, they will give you free chips and salsa, bring you a drink that probably won't be what you ordered (have been twice and got the wrong drink both times) and big plate of food that also may or may not be right (on this they are 50 percent) but like I said it is really good food. just don't be surprised if you ordered enchiladas and got Tacos. read more

I have been going to Cilantro's for a long time. They have added a lot of new items to their menu and now have a happy hour bar menu with drinks and appetizers that are delicious. Please everyone if you haven't been there for a while go back. Food is great drinks are wonderful and they brought their ice cream machine back. Always a good time!!!!! read more

One of the best margaritas I've ever had. That says something!! I've only had one as good and this was a close tie but the other was way more expensive. AND they were reasonably priced ...mind blown. Right? We were there for a function so we only had fajitas as an option. They were great! Chicken and beef both. The servers handled our function perfectly. Food piping hot and tasty. Sit in the bar and have margaritas that you will actually love and enjoy. Jason will wonderful and take care of your drink needs. However, the refills on the chips and salsa you will have to beg for because the lady that helps Jason doesn't care about you other than your silverware and napkin. She really doesn't understand English or doesn't care. DO skip the GREASY chips as I think they change their oil only once a year. You will regret it a little later. And skip the salsa too. It will be limey one day, vinegary another, burnt another, or rancid another day. This place was great years ago, never an issue with anything. This past year or two it's been way below par. The food is actually pretty good. But if you're eating Mexican, you shouldn't have to be afraid of the chips and salsa. Do better owners, change the oil, buy a salsa recipe and use it. read more

The customer service was AMAZING! I was not "moved" by the food. But, the Tortilla soup I ordered was piping hot and plentiful. It just didn't have enough . . . well . . . Cilantro! The flavor wasn't what I expected. But, when you visit Mexico and have the food there . . . that part. This restaurant is huge and I loved the mural. They do make a pretty darn good Pina Colada. I must admit, I was not very impressed with this place. The portions are large, which make the prices a little more understandable, however the margaritas are nothing to write home about. The main issue I have with this place is the service. Everyone from the hostess, to the waiter, to the bus boy, all seem like they would rather be anywhere else but here. I wasn't expecting a song and dance or anything, but screwed up drink orders and having to ask for more chips and salsa (multiple times) is a bit annoying. Don't bother ordering the Cilantro's Margarita in the hopes that you will taste the Grand Marnier because it just tasted like a cheap house marg. I ordered shrimp quesadillas and didn't know quite what to make of the shrimp... either the pieces were saturated in grease or were not very fresh. The tres leches was really good though. With so many amazing Tex-Mex options, I don't think I'll be wasting any more money here. read more

Ordered take out and got the fajita nachos. I was completely disappointed with the ridiculous excuse for nachos that I received. I paid $8 for 6 tortilla chips with some beef dumped on top. 6 chips does not equal nachos. I seriously thought there had to be some sort of a mistake so I called and spoke with a manager who said that was indeed how they did their half order of nachos. 12 chips was a full order. I cannot believe a restaurant could possibly be so petty to the point that they actually count out the number of chips included in their nachos. Will not be returning to this place. read more

Came here to celebrate Cinco de mayo. The food and drinks was ok. But we got our fajitas before our appetizers. We had the same waitress ( Delsy) we had as last time that we really didn't like . She Acted annoyed when I had a few questions about the menu. After our meal We ordered desert and they we're out of two of the desserts that we ordered. We finally settled for fried ice cream. It was gross. It tasted like they froze it after it was fried and the ice cream was nothing but ice . The shell is supposed to be warm with the ice cream cold on the inside . Not to mention we found some sort of a plastic bag in the ice cream . The waitress said it comes like that sometimes. (What if we would have choked? ) we waited almost 45 minutes to get our check to pay. I enjoyed the one man band more then anything. read more

It's horrible your okay with exposing children and your other customers too smoke. With that being said, The food was bad. Chile Relleno had a tablespoon of beef and was greasy. Hubby's burrito was Salty. It was obviously thrown in the microwave. Salsa was one of the worst I've had. It's also Overpriced for Mexican food. We attempted to have dinner tonight at this restaurant. The restaurant was hardly full but the noise volume was ridiculous. They were running something in the bar area which sounded like a jackhammer apparently fixing something. There was a stench of sewer in the air as soon as I entered the restaurant. There were children running through the restaurant screaming like they were at a playground with oblivious parents on their phones. My friend and I talked about going somewhere else but decided due to the rush hour traffic we would just stay where we were. We ordered our food and drinks. I ordered a large margarita but received a small margarita. I ordered Charro beans, but I received refried beans. Our waiter, Anthony acted as if we shouldn't be surprised at such crappy service. The food was tepid at best. I will never eat at this restaurant again. Very disappointing! Enter at your own risk. read more

Cilantro's is a decent Mexican restaurant. I usually order the enchiladas and have never been disappointed. The ceviche martini they offer has mango in it which is something I'm not used to in ceviche but it works well. The only real complaint I have about them is that it's sometimes difficult to get them to bring you the bill and get cashed out in a timely manner. I've never had a "Wow" experience at Cilantro's but it's decent Mexican food and the price is right. read more

I went for lunch with a friend and I had to order 2 different things my first order meat was not like real ground beef it was slimy and watery no thick texture at all and my second order was the beef fajita meat it was uncooked still pink and raw only thing was ok was the margaritas this was my first time trying this restaurant but never will come back mangers was rude and I told her that I wasn't paying for something that I didn't like and the hostess didn't understand English had no idea what we was talking about and brought us drinks without a straw I had to go to front to ask for a straw it was bad business all around this place very disappointing read more

I come here for the strong, top-shelf, frozen margaritas, but the Cilantro's jalapeño chicken has become a return-worthy dish. I enjoy every plate I've had there--from the flauta's to the fajitas--but the jalapeño chicken sets the bar high. And their refritos are delicious. I have to mention that this place is directly responsible for me gaining 7 lbs in one month. It appears that Mexican food makes your clothes shrink. Did I mention the margaritas? We came in here Christmas Eve at 5:00 knowing they closed at 6:00 and not wanting to overstay our welcome because I totally understand. Restaurant folk work really hard and don't have the best hours so we didn't want to keep them at work too long. Our waiter was, as usual, very nice and Johnny on the spot. The food was as always delicious and really filling. We had the small chili con queso which was anyone else's large. The atmosphere is fun and attractive too. But the one thing that impressed me the most was no one there was rushing us or making us feel hurried. We got the same level of service we always do. There were only two other tables in there and I noticed they were attended to nicely as well. We ended up leaving on time and well satisfied. read more
