I came here with a group of 6 this past Saturday AM as an early Mother's Day celebration. We arrived when they opened at 11AM and were quickly seated at a booth. The server did a great job of helping us navigate their large menu. She had plenty of suggestions for all different tastes which made ordering off this expansive menu a breeze! However, we definitely over ordered as we took home about 4 boxes of food (whoops!) I'm not complaining though, the food was delicious. We split the Edamame Ravioli and Lobster Mac & Cheese with the table. These were both so great there weren't any leftovers. I ordered the Parma pizza and it lived up to it's Wood Fired name. The crust had a good crunch and bubbles to it and the cheese was freshly shaved on top. I loved it! In fact, everyone enjoyed their dishes! No one had any complaints. Our server was attentive and very accommodating to our larger party. A few drinks later, as they started to fill up, we closed our tab and headed to the bar to have a few more rounds of drinks while we waited for a few others to join us. When we sat down at the bar I informed the bar tender (not the same great server we had had previously in the day) that we didn't need the lunch menus as we had just come from a table and eaten brunch so we were all stuffed to the gills (hence all the lingering to-go boxes). She argued with me that they didn't have brunch there on Saturdays and couldn't seem to understand that I meant that it was an early lunch where someone ordered Chicken and Waffles so therefore - BRUNCH. From that moment on, she was rude to us. She wouldn't look in our direction or offer refills or suggestions of their expansive drink menu. She was breezy and distant the entire time. The bar was empty so we took this as a direct reflection of how she felt about our party. It's really a shame, too. It was a nice day and they weren't very crowded and she had a small party of 20/30 somethings looking to stay and get a few drinks and instead she made us feel unwanted and like we were somehow in the wrong for calling an 11AM lunch on Saturday Brunch. Still not sure why she was offended by this, still don't see why it matters at all. Anyways, I would suggest coming here for LUNCH on Sundays or BRUNCH on Saturday but definitely don't mention BRUNCH to the bartender or even sit at the bar if you want decent service when you're the only ones there on a weekend. read more

Love this place - the "small plates" allow us to sample different flavors and the wood fire pizza is always perfect. The adult beverages always please the missus. We have had consistently good meals here in the past year. Spinach salad is one of the best I've had, wings are always delicious, short rib poutine rivals the best- definitely try it! My husband likes the Shrimp Roll- not too much mayo and lots of shrimp. Brunch is great too! read more

We go there often for Happy Hour. The Pizzas are always delicious. Tonight there were three bartenders, a girl(Andrea?) and two men.. a tall one with a beard and the one with the vest. I tried to get the check from both of the men without success they are EXCELLENT at ignoring people... but Andrea (who is worth THREE of those men )took care of us. She is an Awesome worker and makes this place Great! If all the Bartenders were like the two men tonight.. Not So Much... but still love the Pizzas! read more

We try to come to Cinder a few times a month. We love it, especially half priced whiskey night.

I love this place and love that it's 5 minutes down the road. I would have never even knew about it until a group of coworkers took me there for happy hour after my promotion. The pizzas I've tried are all amazing, but my favorite so far is the short rib truffle. So freaking amazing. I love the charred taste from the wood fired oven. You can tell the pizza dough is super fresh. Their small plates are the bomb too. My fiancé and I loveee the short rib poutine. The kale dip, and the empanadas are great as well. I haven't had anything bad here yet. The service is usually on point. This was only my third time here but I will be coming much more often now that I know how close it is. Absolutely one of our "fav" restaurants in south Jersey! The food is always "OUTSTANDING", and the decor is uber fab! Some of our favorite dishes are badabang shrimp, German pirogies, fancy pizzas, turnovers, and candied bacon of course! You absolutely gotta try this gorgeous place! Overall, I liked this place. The beer menu was awesome with lots of craft and local brews on tap. The food menu was also impressive. The main problem I had was that my fiancé and I were practically ignored at the bar. We had to wait a long time to get served, even though there weren't many people in the place. The bartender never asked how we were doing and had to flag him down every time we needed something. My fiancé ordered a beer. He put it down by the tap and left for the day. Cinder Bar... my boyfriend and I have been coming here for years, the food is always amazing and love the atmosphere! We tend to sit at the bar when it is just the two of us but we continuously get the same bartender who is not the best. It is a running trend every time he is our server we have poor service. Last night it took a noticeably long time for him to take our food order. My boyfriend and I were both able to finish our drinks before he came around again. It was a relatively steady night for a Wednesday but not overly crowded. We ordered 3 appetizers to share and only received 2. After finishing 2 of the appetizers I asked if he could check on our order of cheese steak egg rolls , he said "Egg rolls? You didn't order egg rolls." Which is fine mistakes happen... we then asked him to please put in the order of egg rolls as well as a chocolate chip cookie skillet his response was just rude. The face he made when we asked for the desert was unprofessional. He again asked if we wanted the egg rolls AND the skillet like he was shocked we were ordering more food. The food was great but the service was ehh, simply hindered our night out. We will come back but hope to avoid this bartender in the future. read more

Friendly barstaff and happy hour pricing on the pizzas make this a great place for an early dinner and a drink or two. Otherwise I think full price on the pizzas is a bit overpriced, even though they are delicious.
