Plenty of lot parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. I came her for a baby shower which was in the outside area. Very nice set up with perfect seating (plenty of room). The food was tasty The inside vibe was really cool and I can see people coming here to watch the game or just have a drink. It's not close to me but if it was then I would be here often.

    Happy hour

I could not recommend the happy hour enough! We had the lemoncelli martini and margaritas, both were very delicious. Their wood fired pizza is also a must, it's a great deal for $8. We topped it off with their green goddess salad, I've also had the winter Waldorf salad, which is equally great. The perogies were unremarkable, however and a bit soggy. I've also always had great service here, even when busy they made sure to check in on our table. Cinder bar has a very busy happy hour on most weekdays, very rarely there is a wait however! There's bar and indoor seating, as well as a covered outdoor area.

Finally made it to the Cinder Bar on a sunny Memorial Day and came away pleased with the experience. It was a perfect day to sit outside to enjoy an early dinner (Happy hour prices were in place so that a bonus!). Service was good and we were made to feel welcome as we walked in. The outdoor patio was ideal for our "late lunch/early dinner." The pierogi's were fluffy perfection enhanced by the caramelized onions. My LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN SANDWICH was delicious and the chicken cooked perfectly. My partner's 'Summer Dew' salad was really good. It's obvious why the Cinder Bar is so popular, it's worth the stop!!

This is our go to place when visiting back home! It's always super busy so you have to make sure you go at a good time. There's always a game playing and the place gets a bit loud but it's such a fun atmosphere! The menu is pretty big so you definitely have to take some time to look it over! Also, the dishes come out as they are ready so don't expect to get your food all at once. Over the past few times we've went we have ordered the Philly Dilly pizza, chilaquiles borrachos, cannoli stuffed French toast and the Nutella crepes. The Philly Dilly is our MUST every time we visit! We love the crust on the pizza because it's cooked in the wood burning oven which gives it a unique taste. The flavors of the pickles and the sauce go so good! The Chilaquiles is HUGE! We shared it and still couldn't finish it! The flavors all melted together so well! The salsa was delicious! The cannoli French toast and the crepes were also very good but we prefer the chilaquiles over both of them. If you like a sweeter brunch then definitely go for the French toast and the crepes! We've tried other small plates as well such as the pierogies, the bada bang shrimp, ricotta meatballs, and steamed edamame; all of those were excellent too! We will most definitely be back on our next trip to Jersey!

I've been here a couple of times when I'm in the area for work. Always around lunch time so it's not busy and the service is good. The ambiance is like an American bar and restaurant. It's clean and nice. The food is consistently very tasty. I just recently tried the bang bang shrimp salad and substituted some rice in. I love coming here for lunch!

Same but from my side. Apparently she's a professional and my phone is a potato

Have been here a few times and each visit I see a dish going to another table I have to come back for. Tried the short rib poutine, chicken and waffles, some wild seasonal grilled cheese(definitely miss that place in collingswood)... well last night I finally tried the wood fired pizza. Roast pork Italiano wood fired pizza. Unbelievable. Actually had to do eeny meany miney mo to figure out which one to get. It was frikkin amaze-balls. I'm a Delco native so I thought I had made a mistake getting a roast pork anything on this side of the river, but my mistake was waiting this long to try it. No shortage of sports on like 18 big tee-vees. Sat in the heated tent outside cause the place is slammed all the time. Definitely get on the wait list before you go. Once you have a table they take great care of you and with the quickness, though. Already can't wait to try the pizzas I didn't land on, this trip.

Food was so yummy! Service was great! Drinks were the best as always! Highly recommend to come more than once because it's hard to make one choice. Food comes out as it's ready!

Made the mistake of giving this location another chance by doing a To-Go order... haven't gone since I had some negative experiences. My friend used to work at the Sickerville one so she picked Cinder Bar and volunteered to pick it up. Then they messed up our order twice at one pick up. Second time our order was handed to my friend, we didn't get the truffle fries that are extra $$. Vegan cheesesteak had less "meat" than normally. Waited about 30 minutes after our pick up order window for it to still be incorrect. I ordered the regular cheesesteak with no onion and there are bits of red and green on the sandwich.. Had to leave due to a time constraint instead of waiting for them to fix it again. Go somewhere else... and apparently the other location is better but take that with a grain of salt.

When I made our reservation online, I included a special request asking if we could be seated by a window to enjoy the river and, hopefully, the sunset. They were able to accommodate our request, and we had a beautiful view of the river. It was a little cloudy, so the sunset wasn't spectacular, but the scenery still made for a wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Fried Fresh Mozzarella Bruschetta, and it was outstanding. The fresh tomatoes, perfectly fried mozzarella, and balsamic reduction came together beautifully. The mozzarella was cooked just right--not overdone to the point where all the cheese oozes out--which made for a great bite every time. Cindy ordered the Scallop Risotto, served in a lemon butter wine sauce. The risotto had a great consistency--not watery at all--and the scallops were perfectly tender. The flavors were fresh, rich, and well-balanced. I chose the Frutti di Mare Risotto, featuring sautéed mussels, clams, jumbo shrimp, crab meat, broccoli rabe, and cherry tomatoes. This dish exceeded my expectations. Every piece of seafood was tender and flavorful. I did encounter a little sand in a couple of the mussels, which can occasionally happen with shellfish, but it certainly wasn't enough to take away from an otherwise fantastic meal. To finish the evening, the staff brought out a celebratory chocolate birthday cake for Cindy. It was incredibly moist with a delicious cream cheese filling--the perfect ending to a memorable birthday dinner. One final tip: if you decide to take a walk around the grounds after dinner, keep an eye out... you might find someone taking a nap outside. Overall, Riverwinds delivered excellent food, outstanding service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Between the attentive staff, delicious seafood, and scenic river views, we'll definitely be back.

This place does not serve exceptional food. It's not a Michelin star stop. It's a typical Italian style place with a good view who apparently hates beer and thinks their food is far better than it actually is. The pricing is insane. Actually, worse than that, screw these people. That's how pissed they made me. My rib eye wasn't even rendered properly with lots of connective tissue and thick hard fat. My kid's salad was drenched in dressing he didn't like despite us ordering it on the side. The $25 shrimp cocktail was literally 4 unseasoned shrimp. The $20 calamari app was half fried pepper rings. Everything was double what it should have cost. Are these morons serious with their prices? I can't believe this horrible place is still in business. It's insulting. Almost like they are trying to keep out the riff raff. I hate them for that. If you are going to have prices like this, you better serve perfect food. I seriously will never give them another chance. They don't deserve it. Who do they think they are?

And, the plates remained once we hurriedly ate the food the "airline" pushed in front of us. The soups were delicious with the French Dip layered with thinly sliced beef (It was called a French Dip after all.) soaking in a rich onion influced broth accompanied by a soaked brioche crouton covered in melty provolone. The Butternut Squash Bisque flavored with asiago was definitely a winner too but before our soup course was 1/2 finished and with our Mediterranean Platter's tabouleh still showing its colors and enough hummus to later lead our waitress to ask if we wanted more pita ... the first entree was added to our crowded table. Not sure where the blame lies for the hurried appearance of plates but we were looking forward to a special evening out ... a birthday dinner choice ... a restaurant specializing in small plate dining should be well accustomed to serving diners in a relaxed manner. Upon their arrival I looked at the Schnitzel Medallions but wanted to enjoy the French Dip soup ... I knew the temperature of the food would be decreasing but the soup was so good. Why in the world would the first plate be served while we were enjoying our soup literally with soup spoons in or hands ... no, I did not hear that our flight was boarding ... we were in no rush but we were being rushed. So, now on the small table were our two soup bowls that we were finishing ... the plate still holding quite a bit of our Mediterranean Platter (We did expect to have some small talk after all it was a birthday celebration so we had leisurely started eating this appetizer.), we had the plates that we were expected to eat off of (Mine still had hummus and tabouleh on it.) and this brand new plate with pork tenderloin and asparagus. Maneuvering food became a needed skill. My dining partner put some schnitzel onto her "eating" plate letting soup cool ... I decided hot soup was more important than hot or even warmish pork so I continued to eat my soup but rushing soup made it less enjoyable. So, I finished my soup squeezing the empty bowl into a limited space on the table ... my "eating plate" was crowded still having hummus on it because I rushed my soup .. my dining partner said "yum the Schnitzel is good" while her soup chilled. I took the serving plate with the remaining Schnitzel and asparagus eating off it since it was the only plate with room. Before I took a bite the sliders arrived further crowding the table. Quickly the Butternut Squash Bisque was finished so that she could eat a hot well maybe warm Crispy Fish Slider ... I was still working on the Schnitzel knowing I was going to eat cold fish. And, as we both kept putting food in our mouths foregoing any conversation the Chicken Primavera arrived and looked picture perfect amidst the crowded table but finally the soup bowls were removed ... there's still hummus and tabloeh from that Mediterranean Platter that we didn't have time to finish and the waitress asks if we would like more pita ... sure ... I had just finished the cold slider and was about to try the chicken primavera. She also then noticed my water glass was almost empty and asked if I wanted a refill ...I did but had been so busy shoving food down my mouth that I just barely noticed I needed water (I actually knew I did but no one ever stopped by to ask.). And, just in case you're wondering... our flight still was not close to taking off from the terminal in this lovely lounge (It really is an attractive restaurant to dine in.) that reminded us of a classic airport lounge but it felt like a hallway fast food eatery. We had come to enjoy a leisurely small plate dinner with good conversation...celebrating a birthday before heading off to the theatre. You might be wondering why there are three stars rather than one. Well, the food was all really tasty. I would say it was delicious even though due to the rush the only food I ate that was hot was my soup. We finally did get back to that Mediterranean Platter and yes, we were given more pita and I wasn't rushed eating it because there was nothing left to be served. Oh, it looks like they have some nice outside seating for warmer days. We skipped the mixed drinks ... they looked really good and other folks seemed to be enjoying themselves.

There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. We arrived around 3:45 PM without reservations and they immediately took us to an open table. Iced Waters were instant. Our server was very pleasant and she took our order. Bread quickly followed with two types served: Italian with sesame seeds and focaccia; however I was puzzled that it was served with a plate of hot peppers and onions in a juice. It seemed off but perhaps it's a Jersey thing. I've been all over in Italy and have never seen this. Olive oil would have been fine along with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Either way I skipped bread condiments. Next came the Fried Tomatoes topped with Lump Crab as an appetizer, but once again I had another head-scratcher, as this dish wasn't typical. First the entire dish lacked seasoning plus salt. Then red tomatoes were used and we all know what happens when you try to fry one. It turns to water after you cut it. The lump crab is what probably made this dish pricey but 3 thinly slices of a red tomato caught me off guard. Now for the final knock out: I ordered the Bone In Pork Chop and impressed that I was asked how Iiked it prepared? I said 145 degrees. She said, you mean well- done. I stated no, that would be in a range of medium. Lo and behold, it was fantastically preparation temperature, but it came topped with the same peppers and onions concoction that came out with the bread. I had no idea that this was a smothered situation. My broccolini was also a mystery. The mashed potatoes were mid. Now on to my daughter's chicken Parmesan: She said that it lacked flavor and had to add salt and pepper and also stated that the sauce was loose and there was too little of it. My wife enjoyed her Salmon. Jersey is cooking differently!!!!! I forgot to add: Underneath of my pork chop I discovered a mysterious piece of corn. I had no corn in my dish??????

Our server was sweet and super-efficient. My only question for Filomena's Lakeview is "Where is the lake?" :)

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. If brunch was this good, we have a feeling dinner will be just as amazing!

Great to share. The artichoke cake sandwich was the sleeper hit: crispy outside, creamy inside, packed with flavor. Cozy, sentimental touch and we'll be back for dinner!

I appreciate that. Anyway, while I should have written a review before, what pushed me this time is that I tried the crab cakes. They were really good. Like, surprisingly good. I'll admit I wasn't expecting a whole lot. My party wanted cheese steaks, I wanted seafood, and I thought "Why not?". The crab cakes were larger than my palm and full of lump crab meat. There was barely any filler, just enough to hold it all together. I'm really impressed. I force fed some to my husband and friends because it was so good. I love having them around the corner. I was a fan before, but they totally won my heart tonight.

There is a really good reason that America has so many pizzerias ... Our work life wears us down and we frequently lust for food that satisfies while somehow fooling us as to the health benefits. What am I thinking ... Health benefits ha ... We need to tingle and tangle our taste buds while filling our bellies with satisfaction and nothing does that better than pizza (If you are in or from Buffalo you understand that pizza is always made complete with WINGS (Buffalo Chicken Wings for non-native speakers.)). Now, I need more than sauce & cheap cheese on quasi cardboard dough for pizza to be acceptable, which I have found to be a challenge in South Jersey. So, it was like toss a menu night since I am still searching my new area for good pies. Pats won the toss. I am really impressed with their use of technology that far exceeds what I have discovered from other restaurants so mini points ... Went for pizza & wings dividing my pie between pepperoni & meatballs. The wings were ordered naked ... No, I didn't strip down for the call ... The nakedness gave me hope that the typical gummy breading that Jersey pizza joints apply to wings would be missing. Made the call PICK UP! Pat has spent some time designing and decorating this pizza spot because I almost wanted to park my butt in this comfy well decorated ristorante. By being a YELPER a free dessert was mine for checking in ... Tiramisu looked good do added the freebee to my order. Take out wings are always hard to judge because they lose their crispness if they ever had any. These wings while not up to par in Buffalo exceeded my expectations for a Jersey take on the classic (Will have to try them in house & extra crispy to see how they do.). The bourbon sauce was decent ... All 10 wings were consumed. I was really happy with the pizza. Hot, good sauce, better than average cheese and dough plus good tasting meat. It was so good my dog stole a piece off the table. Going to eat in next time to see if this National Park pizzeria is the winner that it's first impression implies.

They had custom menus for us that said "happy anniversary"....really nice touch. They also gifted us two glasses of prosecco. The food was absolutely outstanding. We split the grilled avocado and the crab toast. And both ordered the gnocchi. And split the basque cheesecake for dessert. I am still thinking about the meal......11 months later. It was THAT good. The wood burning fireplace/cook area. The wood waiting to go in to be burned. The open kitchen. Such a cool vibe. The cocktails were also sublime. We split charcoal old fashioned and a roasted strawberry Negroni. Then I had a pickled beet martini.....very delish and unique...but nothing my husband would try. On a scale of 1 to 10....this place was at least an 11.

The service, food, and drinks were all good, but happy hour felt pricey for the portion sizes. We shared oysters, French fries, shrimp cocktail, and tuna crudo, along with a few glasses of wine. Everything was delicious, especially the tuna crudo. My photos may be a bit misleading--the oysters and shrimp were surprisingly small, and we actually left feeling hungry. Overall, a beautiful restaurant with great food, but not the best value for happy hour.
