In fact, they claimed there was evidence there had been a fire in my chimney. Received a quote of approx $5k to replace the liner. Had a second company out to do the same inspection. I reached out to schedule an appointment for chimney inspection and cleaning and received a prompt reply letting me know that my message was received but that they were in the middle of a job and would call me back ASAP. Dana was able to schedule me an appointment within a reasonable time frame (many of the other companies I called for quotes made it seem like they were too busy to even want to deal with me). Both Richard and Eric(helper) had pleasing personality. They were prompt in setting up the appointment and called 1 hr before arriving. It was not a special job, a routine cleaning but they made sure they left a good impression at every point -in their work, in setting up the appointment/rescheduling, arriving at work, answering queries. They gave a heads up before arriving. Once they arrived they finsihed their work in an hour, Rich adviced us on proper maintenance/use and even suggested a vendor if we want to make changes to the fireplace. When my father asked question he took time to explain each and every one of his query. IWe didnt shop around much so not sure if his price are fair or high.
