We called Dr. Cindy Bressler last night (Sunday) at 6:30pm. Our cats (Poos 9yrs old) anal sac had developed an abscess, and was about to burst. We called Dr. Breassler and left a message. Within 2 mins we had received a text back. A Pleasant and concerned veterinarian started asking questions and wanted to see video of the cats abscess. She walked us though our options and was super caring. We never even discussed compensation. We ended up going to a walk in ER for the procedure. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Cindy! We had a late night emergency and was able to see our Vizsla within minutes in the Hamptons. She was so kind, gentle, sweet and highly knowledgeable vet. She had all the tools at her disposal to help him and sent us home with the needed medication. Thanks to Cindy, my cat enjoyed five more years of a happy and healthy life as a spoiled NYC housecat. Cindy is logical and trustworthy, and she's available to schedule visits on a tight turnaround and at non-business hours. She understood well that we wanted to help our cat have as much good time with us as we could get, but didn't want to put her through painful procedures at the end that were unlikely to help her quality of life. I cannot say enough about Dr. Bressler! Where do I start? Our cat Danger started scratching the top of his head about 3 weeks ago. What appeared at first as a few scratches turned into him scratching until his hair was gone on the top of his head! He looked like like a little peanut! I called Dr. Bressler at 7pm on a Friday night after getting her number from a neighbor. She answered her phone, was super friendly, attentive to everything I was telling her. I sent her some photos of his head. She immediately came out to my building within 30 mins.. She and her assistant took their time and examined him. Dr. Bressler is the most caring and compassionate vet we have ever had for our Doxie. She was recommended by a trusted friend, and boy am I grateful! Nowadays is hard to trust any vet. But believe it or not Dr.Bressler is an Amazing vet! I can't even describe how relieved I am. Now I can sleep without having to worry about my kittie. I haven't met Dr.Bressler in person but you can feel a good vibe from her just by talking on the phone with her. She asked for a video of my cat to see how she was doing. Just with a video she was able to explain to me what I should do next. She's an animal angel. I'm very thankful of her advice and her time. I definitely recommend her. I've used Cindy in the past with no problems but January 2017, her phone number has been disconnected, and while she sent me one email, she is otherwise unreachable and I have been unable to make an appointment for her to come and see my cat. First and foremost, Dr. Cindy Bressler is totally awesome, responsive, knowledgeable and caring. A few Thursdays ago, I came home and I realized my kitty's tongue sticking out of her mouth, which alarmed me. I didn't know what exactly had happened as she was fine earlier that morning. Anyhow as most people do these days, I decided to Google the symptom and saw the overarching theme was that I needed to take her to a vet ASAP. Though I booked an appointment with the local vet for the next morning, I could not wait until the AM as I was extremely concerned about my cat, so I went on Yelp and came across Dr. Bressler's profile. I called and left a VM and she responded within an hour via text, which was fine with me. She was with another client and she said she would come by as soon as she was done. She came to my house and was able to diagnose what was wrong with my cat instantly (abscessed teeth/inflamed gums) and she administered some meds and took her blood for testing to make sure there were no other issues. With the immediate care necessary for my cat, Dr. Bressler was able to get me a last minute appointment with Dr. Carmichael of Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island. Though it was a long trip out to the island, it was well worth it, as the facility was very nice and the staff were truly friendly, caring and professional. I definitely recommend Dr. Bressler for any immediate/emergency house calls for your little furry friend. My cat is 100% now!!! read more

Dr. Bressler is wonderful! I was concerned about some marks on my male kitty's belly and had made an appointment with our regular vet in Astoria, but my cat HATES going to the vet and I didn't want to traumatize him unnecessarily. I started searching for vet's who do house calls and came across Cindy. She was unable to come out that evening,and since Ringo's appointment was scheduled for the next morning, she took time to work with me over the phone, through video and photographs. Turns out those little bumps are nipples! Duh. Anyway, Cindy set my mind at ease, was a complete professional, and saved my cat a traumatic visit to the vet. Dr. Bressler is extraordinary! The personal and professional care, and the attention to both us and our beloved Cooper was remarkable. When our 13 year old chocolate lab was diagnosed with metastatic cancer after emergency surgery, we were obviously devastated. We wanted to bring him home from the hospital as soon as possible to give him the love and attention he could only get there. The question was, how do we provide the serious healthcare he would need to make him comfortable and to give him a fighting chance with the pneumonia he developed in addition to the post-op recovery and cancer. After speaking to several house-call vets, we were connected to Dr Bressler. We knew immediately she was the one and boy, were we right! She helped us set up home hospitalization in our living room! With her help, we got an oxygen machine, set up IV fluids and even did two blood transfusions right in our home. Coop never had to go through the stress and potential health issues of returning to the hospital or even the vets office. Dr. Bressler spent hours at Coop's bedside, along with her very professional nurses, often very late at night or very early in the morning. In addition, she was available 24/7 via, phone, text and email. We frequently sent photos and videos when we were concerned and if she wasn't able to accurately diagnose remotely, she came over ASAP. She answered all our crazy questions patiently and thoughtfully and took exceptional care of our dear boy. She spent much of her time on the floor with him talking to him, petting him, kissing him and reassuring us. Her bedside manner is unbelievable. Cooper was never stressed when she was around or was working on him. When it became apparent that we were no longer going to be able to keep him comfortable and there was no chance of an improvement in his quality of life, Dr. Bressler was there immediately to euthanize him humanely and painlessly. We let him go at home, in his own bed, surrounded by those who loved him, and I include Dr Bressler in that category. She is an extraordinary vet and a compassionate caregiver who will give both you and your non-human companions the absolute best care you could hope for. read more

Saved Our Dog's Life - Thank god for Dr. Cindy Bressler! Our dog was overfed at a party and got bloat. Those of you with large dog breeds know how serious this condition is and that if proper care is not administered within an hour or two, the dog will die. We were beside ourselves. It was terrifying. We called the nearest vet and they were closed (it was late at night.) The recording on the answering machine had her number for emergency care and we dialed it right away. Dr. Bressler RUSHED over. She stabilized our dog, making it possible for him to survive the hour-long trip to the nearest Pet ER, where he had emergency surgery and survived. She was also very good at keeping us calm so that we could comfort our pup on the ride to the ER. We now use her house call service whenever our dog is feeling poopy. He loves her. Her dog-bedside manner is excellent; she is gentle and knows how to make him feel relaxed and at ease when she's doing her checkup. When she visits, she always takes the time to answer all my questions and explain everything. She is also happy to text with me, which I really appreciate, whenever I have a quick question about the dog. I definitely recommend Dr. Bressler after all, our dog would have gone to doggy heaven way ahead of his time if it wasn't for her swift action in that crisis. She is just lovely. read more
