Came here for lunch after visiting Hsi Lai Temple. Super small restaurant and we ordered a bunch of their already prepared cold dishes as well as some hot dishes. Everything was great and tasted very home made. Good quality and food quantity. Plaza has some parking but its a small lot and the restaurant is small too.

Food was amazing and such a great price! Generous portions, authentic and delicious. The service was fast and we received our food fairly quick. The ambiance is a little hole in the wall but big flavor! Definitely recommend

The Beef Noodle Soup $13.99 and Beef Noodle Soup Combination $14.99 was very delicious. Noodles were cooked aldente. The beef was very tender and perfectly flavored. The soup was also perfectly seasoned. Free tea or water. You can pay first or after your meal. There is restroom, but ask the sever first. Limited parking, so if it's full, you can park at residential area.

I recommend this place for Taiwanese food I do recommend calling in your order because supplement sometimes the weight might take longer as they do not have very much stuff this is a few places that the pork chop is actually quite crispy so if that is what you like definitely I recommend one of the items to get the crispy right job they also have a lot of Frozen items like dumplings Etc that you could purchase also note that they are closed one of the weekdays they don't remember what it is either Monday or Tuesday or something like that so check their hours and every so often they also closed for some reason so call ahead to make sure that they are open before you go there that lastly parking is terrible and it's probably worse than worse because the few spots available are shared between multiple businesses and of course the spots are super tiny so be mindful and prepare yourself for that

This is a well-rated on Yelp and it's well deserved. Cindy's Kitchen is located in an unassuming plaza and the interior is nothing notable. Their food is the exact opposite, comforting and delicious with giant portions. We got the beef combo noodle soup, one with wide noodle and one with thin noodle. I prefer the wide noodle because it was more qq, while the thin noodles were a little overcooked. The sauce on the braised pork rice was delicious. I recommend mixing the pork and rice together, it creates a perfect combo with the pickled greens.

The BEST beef noodle soup I've ever had! This hole in the wall spot packs a punch when it comes to their food! We ordered beef noodle soups, a crispy chicken over rice, and dumplings. Everything was a 10/10. The noodles had this really bouncy texture and was very flavorful from the broth. The beef was also very soft and the veggies were cooked perfectly. As for the crispy chicken rice, they give you a HEFTY amount of rice and the chicken is crispy yet still juicy. The dumplings were also flavorful and you get 12 pretty decent sized dumplings! There is only one server here so we gave her some grace as most of time the tables were full. Took lots of time for refills and for the check/ boxes. One thing I thought was weird was that I asked for two containers for leftovers- so I could separate the noodles and the soup to make sure it doesn't get soggy. And she had this weird look on her face and laughed at me. It was pretty rude.

Food: 9.0/10 Service: 8.5/10 Quality: 9.0/10 History: 9.0/10 Consistency: 10/10 over the span of a decade They increased the menu options, in the past coming here I've always gotten their cold dishes to go, and their beef noodle soups. Their dumplings have always been a hit out of the ball park. Today I tried their beef assorted vegetables stir fried covered rice. It was beyond my expectations, and savored every gravy coated rice without leaving anything behind on my plate. You can taste each individual crispiness of the broccoli and carrots and the beef wasn't overly drenched in tapioca starch or put under baking soda to make it extra rubbery, it was just the right amount of chew with each muscle fiber tearing off like a tendered bbq brisket. And of course I ordered myself some San xian dumplings today, shrimp, pork, and vegetables. Cindys is a staple of the community it's been opened by one of the most OG restaurant chef owners in the Chinese / Taiwanese Restaurant space since the 90s and early 2000s. And for decades they continue to maintain their consistency and duty to presenting authentic, genuine good Chinese street food for the communities around Hacienda Heights CA. Excellent

Small mom and pop type place. This place came on my radar because I heard that their beef noodle soup was really great and that's why I wanted to make a trip out here. It's located in a small strip mall that feels slightly off the beaten path in the area. I came during the week wanting something soupy, and this place was perfect. They also sell frozen dumplings to go and other dishes that you can take to go or eat there. When I got there, the place wasn't too busy so I was able to sit right away and I was helped by some really sweet people. The noodle soup came out pretty quickly and it was as great as I imagined. I also ended up ordering a package of dumplings to go so I can eat later at home. Definitely recommend this place and these are the type of places I like to support!

I've been here several times, and the beef noodle soup here is one of the best I've had in the SGV and Rowland Heights area. The broth is flavorful, the noodles are a perfect texture, and the beef tendon is so good! It is a smaller restaurant but they also offer takeout options. They have dumplings for sale as well which look to be made in house, but I haven't tried it yet because I always come back for the beef noodle soup! I want to gatekeep this spot so they don't get too busy, but really I think they deserve the business!

I understand that prices have gone up everywhere, and I'm willing to pay more for good food. However, the final bill didn't match the prices listed on the menu, which was very confusing and frustrating. What made it worse was that the actual dishes looked completely different from the photos on the menu. If I had known that those four small pieces of meat would cost that much, I definitely would not have ordered them. The most upsetting part was that when we tried to ask both the server and the owner about the pricing issue, we were basically ignored. On top of that, we waited about 20 minutes just for takeout packaging, even though the restaurant was not busy at all. Honestly, this will probably be my last time coming here. I just hope the friends I previously recommended this place to won't end up blaming me for sending them there.

I was not a huge fan of J&G when I lived in Taiwan, though I would occasionally try it when visiting Ximending (西門町). With so many other tasty and more affordable options around, J&G wasn't usually my first choice. After opening in SoCal, J&G feels more like a fast food restaurant than its street vendor style in Taiwan. I visited here when they first opened, and the line and waiting time were so long because they stated they cook their fried chicken freshly after you order. Prices are noticeably higher, too, and even more expensive than some local American fried chicken chains. During a recent visit, no more people were there waiting, but it still takes a little longer to get the food, but it's not too bad. The food is not bad but not great either. I was a bit disappointed with the fried chicken cutlet and chicken sandwich, the portions were small, the meat was thin, and while I am glad it wasn't dry, the flavor was just okay. With so many other great fried chicken options around, I am not sure I'd come back for those items. Their popcorn chicken and chicken cartilage, however, left a much better impression. It's more flavorful and enjoyable, especially when paired with dipping sauces, but I don't like how they charge extra for certain sauces like ranch or their special spicy sauce. The popcorn chicken is still good without sauce, but it just doesn't stand out much. Other fried items were decent, but again, on the smaller portion. Overall, a 3.5 star experience. I wish them success, but I would probably only return when I am craving their popcorn chicken or chicken cartilage.

Camping vibe, including moths flying around as we were dining. We were seated in one of the tent. The chairs were outdoor chairs. Arrived at 730 pm, we were the only one there. Staff was not welcoming at all. No greeting, no explanation, no smile. We were given tablet to order and the tablet was stuck, we couldn't scroll up and down. Brought it to her 3x and she just kept resetting it and did not give us new tablet. I was starting to get extremely annoyed. Funny -for Asian restaurant- they didnt have steam rice, only fried rice. The skewers came out and placed on top of the grill that was not turned on. I asked why it wasn't turned on, and she replied "you want it on?" Hmm... weird. Thought that was the selling point of the theme and the purpose of the grill. Nonone checked if we were okay during dining. Everytime we asked for water refilled, the staff just dropped it off. No hi, no bye. There are tons of other similar restaurants within the same price and food quality and value in this area. Crawfish- okay, with mala seasoning, garlic, and the crawfish was not fresh (dark on the meat), with some overcooked. Shrimp was scrumptious with crispy skin. Fried milk roll- unique and tasty. Skewers: chicken - tender and tasty. Lamb skewers, tendon, beef and wagyy great taste and seasoning. Leeks: tasty but very small portion for $8 Corn cheese: also tasty and small for the price.
