Extremy rude staff and Managers Lopez and Banks. I was told I could not bring in my small size purse. Even opened my purse to show contents. The popcorn was not filled all the way. Place looked a mess, trash everywhere. Staff came into the theater about 10 times throughout the movie to check on everyone, shined a flashlight around disrupting the movie. Lights were on during the entire preview period so staff could moniter all customers. Manager was yelling at a customer before me about a purse issue. Am a movie club member and avid customer. Will never go back to this theater again. Live right around the corner, Id rather make the trip to The River. I have gone to this theater 100 times and never ever had any problems. New management? Went to watch the captain America yesterday at 11:10pm. We got there at 10:30 and one of the security people who was very professional and nice told us to just be patient and hang out around the theater which was #7 while they were getting the theatre ready. My brother and my sister in law did not have a place to sit so we were sitting outside the theatre near a closed door. Some dumb other security usher rudely tells my wife and brother to move and not to sit there. I heard this and said "excuse me", instead of diffusing the situation he calls backup . I could not believe this person was acting so rude to people who are older people sitting on the floor. The other manager who told us to have a seat came in and restrained his colleague and personally apologized to all 3 of us. The only thing nice about this theatre is the huge screen and reclining seats!!! It is a comfortable setting to enjoy a movie. However, it is really expensive. You have assigned seating. The concession stand is horribly laid out. People push and shove through the line grabbing stuff-Not a lot of room between the drink stand and the cashier. Forget it if you need to pee during the movie!!! Everyone is reclining, so you cannot get out unless you want to make a big scene. read more

One of the best theaters I've ever been in. Once you walk in the door, the different lines for food, tickets, etc are super easy to navigate. The snack bar, ticket booth, arcade games, and even a coffee shop is located in the lobby area which makes it an easy one stop shop before entering the actual movies theater. The employees are always friendly providing an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that gets you excited for the show. It can be easy for popcorn and other snacks to pile up on the ground, however the cleanliness of this location is phenomenally maintained. Highly recommend! read more

Just recently went since they opened back up...super sad and disappointed...practically empty..didn't even have fountain drinks working but Rancho Mirage had fountain drinks the day before and owned by the same company... My mom (84 yrs) and I got to the theater 25 minutes early to see Mary Poppins. The only seats they showed as available were the first two rows. When we got in the theater there were four people. That means the 100 other seats were purchased online which is a mathematical improbability. When I asked about other seats, all of a sudden another pair showed up one more row back in the handicapped section. Once the movie started I checked the seat availability and not all seats were filled. Is this elder discrimination? Disability discrimination? You are paying less money as an elder so you get offered the worst seats discrimination? Whatever it is, it isn't okay and should be changed. I spoke to the manager. This theater was amazing! We had never experienced anything like it. It was recommended to us by our waitress and we weren't disappointed! This isn't your standard run of the mill theater. There is a bar (beer, wine, and frozen margarita and daiquiri), ice cream, and the standard theater fair. You choose your seats when buying your tickets. We did have some trouble finding our seats. The seats were numbered but the aisle wasn't clearly marked. The seats were amazing!! Leather recliners! They were so comfy! The theater was extremely clean but a bit cold. All I have to say is this movie theater is badass. Went tonight for the first time saw Spectre in the XD room it was awesome. The movie was good best of all the movie theater itself is awesome. Premium seating the seats are recliners plenty of space all I can say it's awesome I'm not going any other movie theater in this valley this is it this is where I go to watch all my movies now. no theater can't compete with this in this valley. Now for my only problem. Which is not really a problem more of an inconvenience but it's worth it. I will tell you this it is selected seating meaning you pick where you sit which is great but the only downfall this has is that you can't use your Costco Cinemark tickets unless you actually buy your ticket at the movie theater. Yes you can go to Fandango on your phone or smart device and buy them online and pick your seats online but you will not get the discounted Costco rate. Now this movie theater fills up pretty fast I'm sure it's going to be like this for a while because it's the new thing.. like today I knew I was going to go watch the movie so while shopping I went to the movie theater picked my seats pay for the tickets use my Costco movie tickets save money and that was it which works out. The nice thing is we got to the movie theater right on time so it's really nice that you don't have to go look for a seat you already have a seat waiting for you that was the best part. Horrible experience! Although I should have known when I walked in and all the food was sold out like someone ransacked the place. Also,, the place is so dirty I was so afraid to lean back in my seat and get comfy. My husband and I were the first in our seats. Lady came in with her 2 daughters. They were talking loud so I put my hand over my mouth and said "shhh" because there were kids there. And then the mom started acting a fool. I had to go get the mgr because she kept talking shit. The manager talked to her for about 10 min. She comes back over to us and proceeds to tell us in a not so friendly voice that they can talk loud while watching the previews and that her kids felt threatened by my husband. My son n I went for our first time to this theater and wasn't thrilled about the "best way to get seats" was pre purchasing your tickets. We finally arrived, after getting wrong directions from a girl I spoke with prior to leaving my house, and all the seats were purchased except for the first two rows so I asked Bruce if he could look at the next showing and he said it was worse, it's all sold out so basically I purchased tickets for the following day at their regular rate. He offered if I wanted to see the theater/seating and I said yes so he called Terry over. I'm so completely discouraged at this point of ever seeing another movie at this theater...from the drive over w/wrong directions, NOT eeeven going to a movie today and after all of that, Terry completely turned it around for me. Starting with an apology on behalf of everything not working out, we walked into the exact theater of the movie we were going to see that was 95% sold out on the prepurchasing screen and HALF the theater was empty....EMPTY, another discouragement. He was incredibly knowledgable and patient n very courteous. He offered suggestions in which I took him up on one and I went and refunded my tickets for tomorrow and am going next week instead. My friend and I were visiting for a quick weekend getaway and after a short bit in the 115 degree weather by the pool, decided a movie was the way to go. Cause we're old now and our kids are loud and getting away to see a movie without bunnies in it is awesome. And the water at the JW pool scares me. I'm in love with the Cinepolis movie theaters in my neck of the woods, so searched for "movies with reclining chairs" and this one came up. Half the price of Cinepolis, and with super comfy chairs, preset seating, and booze available in the lobby. No waiter service in the theater, but I'm happy to pay half price and run out for a refill halfway through. Not only were the seats comfy, but the staff was super helpful. My friend and I forgot to bring phone chargers on this trip and had Lyfted to the theater from our hotel. Then our phones died and we needed to Lyft back to the hotel, and this one awesome security guard hunted down a charger for us, plugged in my phone, and watched it for me while my friend and I enjoyed some Pinot at the little bar. Desperately want to go back to this theater and I definitely will! The reclining seats are so comfortable and I came here on a date with my bf on a Sunday. They allow you to choose seats before you go into the theater so you will not have to fight for seats. The place is always packed towards the night since everyone would like to relax after a long day of work I assume. It's not out of the way, easily accessible and has plenty of snack options while keeping the drink options plentiful as well. Though the seats recline and is extremely comfortable, they should really adjust the temperature to be comfortable as well. I remember that Sunday I went it was extremely hot in the desert yet their air conditioning was not on to a moderate temperature. I was comfortable yet sweating onto the reclining seats that is not a pleasant experience. (Sorry for whoever sat in my seat next). Went with my parents to watch Spectre here for the first time. Remember to buy your tickets online and reserve your seats before hand. Because this theater has assigned seating. Bought tickets with my fandango app. After I bought them, all I had to do was to show my square barcode thing from my cell at the register. Very easy. The main entrance of the place kinda seems small at first compared to most theaters, but that's because they made the theater screens huge which is the best in my opinion. The couch chairs were amazing with electric recliners! The space between the rows of seats is perfect, you'll never have to worry about a tall person blocking your view! I love this theater! Celebrated our child's 8th birthday at the movies, and I loved the experience. Throwing a party is hectic and Adam and Lisa at Century Theaters made it so easy for me. They asked us what my kids theme was and decorated the room very nicely, they even had a game and activity for the kids to do. They contacted us to let us know the progress and schedule of movies. What was not good - the ENTIRE concessions experience. What corporate​ efficiency expert came up with this lame "cattle line" with only 2 registers to exit? Whoever it was needs to run this senseless gauntlet every day to be reminded that while this "self serve" approach might save labor costs, the whole concept is the pinnacle of inefficiency and frustration as far as a customer experience. We like the idea of reserving your seats but the number of seats in most of their theaters is low, they need more and not so close to the screen - you can't enjoy the movie up front. The way the lines are arranged is a bit odd, they make you go back through the line to get food, blocked off access to the concession area - very strange and awkward. They don't have the best set up for concession and a small selection. Other than that, the theater is clean, great movies and Tuesdays are half off tickets. read more

I have been here 3 times and each time it has gotten progressively more dirty. The self serve concession always has popcorn spilled all over the place and there has always been spilled drinks and trash spread around the soda machines. Self service doesn't seem to be working with people juggling popcorn and drinks. Also if the concession is busy you can't get around the line to pour yourself a soda. Additionally, there is popcorn everywhere! It's on the floor in the common areas, theater, and even the stalls of the women's bathroom. Speaking of bathrooms.....the towel dispensers have always been empty and the trash is overflowing with trash. As a result it is all over the floor along with the popcorn. The actual theaters are nice with the great seats and screen. We love that part but when you leave after the movie the trash can at the exits have, on all three occasions, been overflowing. Although the overall theater is great, the lobby is very small and doesn't flow well. Recognizing they have had a large number of customers over the Thanksgiving holiday, I still feel they are severely lacking with their maintenance and upkeep. read more

Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this place. We caught Moana for the Friday Early Bird $7 which is a steal for luxury theater assigned seating with leather recliner chairs. Purchase your tickets online ahead of time (with a gift car there is no service charge) and you can print them at the kiosk in front! The concession stand moved quick because you pick up your food at each station then lay at the end like a cafeteria. I have nothing bad to say about this theater for soooo many reasons. For the quality of this theatre the ticket prices are more than fair. The online ticket platform is so convenient and the $1.50 convenience charge is again fair in my opinion. You are paying extra for convenience! The seats are amazing. Bathrooms are always clean. Concessions always quick to get. Having my tickets on my phone helps us get in quicker as well. My husband and I love this theater so much than any we've ever been to that we bought the monthly movie club which made our whole experience even more enjoyable as they wave all $1.50 online fees, give you 20% off concessions ON TOP OF any weekly coupons we get in our email, and all for under $10. Great theater. Amazing seat. I usually end up with back pain after a movie. NOT HERE. Comfortable beyond. Curious how these seats hold up after a lot of use. I see potential for very bad if people don't treat this theater like home. Price for tickets is in line with other theaters. Love the assigned seating. No need to go to the movies an hour early just to get a good seat. Concessions are a bit pricey but not much different than other theaters. Tuesday all tickets are $5.75. Great bargain for this experience. Highly recommend to go to another theater so there are more seats for my family So we went to see Independence Day in 3D, through out the movie I was wondering why the 3D was so not good to find out they ran the none 3D version. Theater is nice and clean, comfortable reclining seats with cup holders. Of course, if it's a boring movie & you are tired you may fall asleep. I decided to give the theatre another chance and took my family to see Wonder Woman this weekend. Big mistake. Still under terrible and irresponsible management. The kid in the box office had no personality at all and I had to repeat myself over and over with him during the transaction. The two male concession stand employees were having their own conversation about "smashing the shit out of some guy" on a game that they play, while grabbing my children's popcorn, completely ignoring my daughter's request for no butter because they apparently did not want their important conversation interrupted. That is not okay. I was waiting to speak with a manager, but the young and seemingly unqualified, female "manager" that quite frankly looked like she just came from an all night party, forgot to brush her hair, and smelled like bad BO, was dealing with another customer issue and seemed to be making things worse and more disruptive to others. Pointless. After the movie, that same manager was seen down the hallway inappropriately goofing off with employees. Very very unprofessional. Shame on you. *edit- forgot to mention that this manager, Cheyenne, is also one of the employees I've previously witnessed smoking weed on the property and using profanity in front of customers.* Take note: A new staff all together would go a long way in making this a better theatre. read more

I was so looking forward to seeing "Shawshank" with Tim Robbins and Morgen Freeman on a big screen, 25 years after its premiere. The movie was suppose to start at 4:00 and at 4:20 nothing but a silver screen was before us. People got up to inquire about the issue. After another 20 minutes, the movie start but not from the beginning. It was about ten minutes into the film and the image was just frozen on the screen. More people got up, someone from theater came and they got it started but again not from the beginning. More time passed. They finally got the movie or maybe it was just video, Dish tv and dvd controls kept popping up, so we settled in to watch a really great movie. If you've seen it, there's a great scene where Andy finally breaks out of Shawshank, it's pouring rain and lightning, a great moment in the movie. Unbelievably the movie stops again. Finally people are walking out, someone from the theater is handing out movie passes with no explanation of what the technical difficulties were. I still wanted my money back so I go up to cashier, that takes about five minutes and I ask for another pass. The guy leaves, comes back a few minutes later gives me another pass and says they have the movie started. Really? It was the worst attempt of trying to show a movie with a complete lack of concern by the theater managers. I guess this movie wasn't making as much money as some of the other "hits" in the theater. Horrible movie experience. They should not advertise this classic movies if they've not going to have professional projectionist. read more

I love this theatre. It's the best theatre in the Coachella Valley. It's nice and cool during the summer months. The sound is great. The screens are large and clear. Their seats are nice and oversized and super comfortable. I'd be giving them 5 stars if the kettle corn machine wasn't broken 50% of the time I go there and that's 1/2 the reason I go to the theatre!!!! I want my experience to be smooth and relaxing when I go. Not a major disappointment 2 out of every 5 times I go if not more. I just left and bought nothing, not even a movie because it was broken again. For movie ticket and concession prices today, you'd think they could afford a decent top of the line kettle corn machine.
