I'm a new to the area and wanted to try out this theater to see the new "Backrooms" movie and I'm not sure I'll be going back. I had pre-ordered a ticket online so I didn't mind that there was no one in the outside ticket booths plus it was hot but when I got inside, the employees, kinda looked annoyed/disappointed to see me walk in. I was still super friendly while I ordered my popcorn and drink. The girl checking me out if I already had a ticket for my movie which I told her yes but she did not ask to see it. Which makes sense, considering she worked at the concession counter, only for me to turn the corner with my phone in hand, ready to show my ticket at the ticket booth, but no one was there. Me and four other people looked for staff to come scan our tickets, but no one came and no one had to explained beforehand that no one was going to be there. I soon I'll do employees walking the hall, both ignored me and the other customers so we just all had to figure out where our auditoriums were. The staff members that we did see, saw that we were trying to figure out where our auditoriums were and did not offer any help nor spoke to us at all. It honestly made me feel like I shouldn't have bothered buying the ticket if I could just walk in without any proof of actually purchasing anything other than the snacks in my hand. Luckily, the movie it was great and the theater room seemed clean but when I left my auditorium after the movie there were four employees now at the ticket booth just hanging out and talking as if they were just hanging out in the halls of their school, still no one greeted me. No one asked me if I needed help looking for something as I was in the hall checking to see if there was a restroom other than at the exit. Again, no one offers help and I end up having to ask them to move so I could leave since they were spread out, taking up a large chunk of the hall while having their conversation. I also watched as they had the same behavior towards other customers. Overall, it didn't feel like a very welcoming theater. While, I get it if one or two employees are having a rough day and don't feel like using a customer service persona, as someone who's worked in customer service and retail myself I definitely wouldn't wanna come back to a place where almost every single employee I encountered either ignored me or seem to have some type of premeditated distaste towards me, especially not loving it when I was in such a happy mood and the whole experience just left me feeling sour and uncomfortable. read more

I hadn't been to this movie theater in years due to the crowd of obnoxious teenagers that usually attends and works at this theater, but it was really nice to see that things have changed and that they got some better crowd control. We were in the area to eat a restaurant that really enjoy that sits in the same parking lot as this theater and decided to stop and watch a movie, "The Housemaid", great movie as well. I'm such a huge Amanda Seyfried fan. The theater was clean and the atmosphere was calm. We came on a Saturday late afternoon. I was expecting long lines, large groups of teenagers, and chaos. To my surprise it was none of that. Security guard was checking tickets , Concession stand lines weren't busy at all and we practically had the entire theater to ourselves. I've been here twice and this a good option if you wanna ball on a budget, or don't really care about cleanliness/appearance of the theater. The theater itself needs a full body makeover as many things are dated and appear old. The customer service from my experiences have been positive and friendly . One adult ticket was 8 bucks, considerably cheap in comparison to many other theaters. The place itself is larger than what it looks like from the outside . There is noticeable trash spread through the theater and aisles. Seats are not all that comfy and don't recline. Screens are average with nothing fancy. An affordable option however don't expect anything outside of that. read more

(You know? -those days when you do not want to drive far and do not want to pay much) BUT, BE WARNED! _Do not expect a normal nice theatre experience. -Someone may or may not be in the ticket booth. -There may or may not be expired 1 Liter sodas in the beverage fridge. -Definitely watch your step because the carpet is in such poor condition that your shoe may or may not become entangled in the threads. -Do NOT expect the bathrooms to be clean! -And it may be best not to expect fellow patrons to demonstrate good etiquette/manners during the movie. read more

Absolutely worst theater! We only come here because the ticket prices are extremely cheap. Tickets are around $4 and 3D movies only $8, however the lack of funds you pay affects your quality of theater experience. Came to see The Last Jedi, the movie theater #1 was beyond cold. Had I not wanted to lose my seat I would have left but we were in a packed theater and been waiting for this over a year. Afterward I spoke to the manager who appeared about 21 and he explained they use that theater for the largest crowds and the temp was a little below 70 to cool it down. No sir. It's currently 47 degrees today, and that theater was freezing. The lobby was perfectly heated but theater #1 was an ice box and now I'm officially sick! It been 30 minutes and my body is still trying to recover in the car with the heat on. read more

It's the summer, school is out and it's Memorial Day. Why wouldn't they order enough supplies for the concession stand. I wanted a small popcorn. The young lady said, we only have Medium and Largs. I knew she meant Med and Lrg bags, but I don't want that much popcorn. When asked could she put a "small" size of popcorn in a medium bag. She said no, she had to charge me for a Med. Soooo am I paying for the bag or the popcorn ‍ I'm not sure if that was a ploy to make people buy a larger portion. I.e. spend more, but yeah.... No. Not cool at all. read more

Cinemark is my go-to chain, and the number of screens and the price of this theater was fantastic. I had a pleasant experience at the ticket booth but not from the woman working in concessions. Couple that with the fact the seating seemed somewhat new, but narrow and not overly comfortable, this falls pretty low on my list of enjoyable theaters. read more

I visited this theatre while on vacation visiting family in the area. We went there to see the new documentary on Whitney Houston. We arrived a few moments before the movie was to begin and had no issues. The tickets were only $4.33 which was totally unexpected. What a bargain!!!! We went to the first showing of the day. When we walked into the theatre it was dark so I couldn't really see if it was clean or dirty. I also couldn't see what condition the theatre was in. What I could see was that the theatre hadn't been updated. It was an old school theatre that obviously hadn't been renovated in decades. It hadn't even been updated so that the seats were staggeredly elevated by row. (i.e. stadium seating) The seats were all at the same level so if someone taller sat in front you'd be SOL. That was a bit surprising but suddenly the cheap ticket prices made sense. We were so shocked that we literally started laughing in disbelief when we walked in and saw that we were walking into a time capsule. But the picture and sound were fine. Since it was an early show in the middle of the week it wasn't crowded so no one sat in front of me. The popcorn was also reasonable and pretty tasty. It appeared to be freshly popped instead of being dumped from a bag. The clientele of the theatre is obviously something to be desired as people talked the entire time, walked in and out constantly and answered their phones. I haven't experienced so many disruptions during one matinee in my life. It was annoying but I just tried to tune it all out. I enjoyed the movie but I'd never visit this theatre again. Even still, the experience wasn't all that horrible so I'm still giving it three stars. If anything visiting made me appreciate the ample modern theatre's back home with recliners and food/liquor service. read more

This is by far the worst theatre I've ever been to. I took my kids to see Teen Titans and I was afraid to have them touch any of the surfaces in the building. It was dirty as hell and it was the first show of the day. There was popcorn in the hallway and the floors of the theatre were sticky. Everything was sticky. We got in line to get snacks 15 minutes before our movie and after 12 minutes we just gave up. There weren't even a lot of people there. It was 11 am. At one point a manager walked out but didn't say anything. She just had a conversation with a register person and left. There were 4 registers open. FOUR. The time per customer was over 5 minutes. Which is insane because it's a movie theatre concession stand and all I saw them (eventually) hand out was popcorn and candy. I felt bad for my kids because it's part of the experience for them. It was just a bad experience and while it might be hard to run a nice theatre, it's clearly easy to run a terrible one. Condemn the building. Saving it would take more money and interest than anyone there has. Run don't watch. read more

This is a theater where you basically get what you pay for. It's $3.65 for a matinee. I don't think the tickets get up to high even when going to see a 3D movie. It has a game room which came in handy when I use to bring my nephew back in the day. A snack stand is at the front and towards the back. I think the one at the back opens at night or when it's really busy. I would however advise anyone that comes on a regular to invest in the cup/and bowl container combo. When you buy it for the first time it might be between $12 and $18. (Can't remember). It's the size of a medium and just enough for one. Refilling both will be like $3.50 a piece and worth the investment. They sell them at the beginning of the year and you get refills for maybe $7 each time you go- just wash them out and keep using. Seats has been updated and are comfortable. The restroom could use a make over. Overall it's worth it. read more

Took my grandkids there about a week ago to see Cruella! Prices have gone up...but theater has the worst smell! Bathrooms were disgusting! Came here 2 different days and it sums up to be average. The price is awesome for me and my BF it cost us $7.58 matinee and that was for the both of us. It's about $16 if you come later, which is still great when it comes to Cali prices. The set up of the screens is old school and set up where the rows are pretty much flat but some rows alter high and low so you can view the screen. The concession stand is high as any other movie theater but not horrible. Now jumping to customer service there are a bunch of young kids who work here who just seem un happy no good etiquette practiced, and some come off rude and just there for a pay check. A con I also had was our screen shutting off in the middle of the climax but it was back on within 5 mins..and kids lord people need to watch their kids, the ushers need to walk through and regulate like normal theaters. Overall I got to watch my movies at a cheap price but the territory that comes with cheap came along with it. It was Okay. read more

So i, was directed to go back to ticket booth, I did, then was directed to go back to the movie gate. I paid for a 3D movie, attended said theatre 10. I looked at the sign, it says theatre 10, 3d, the movie is not 3d. At least I had a decent experience at snack bar, usually ive waited 30 minutes there before.its a horrible theatre filled with people who don't seem to care. If you have a low tolerance for bull... like i do. E ery time i come i hav3 to speak to a manager. So from now in in avoiding this place like the plague. Visited recently to see Concussion and I must say, I was still pleased. I actually felt less itchy this time around, lol. On a serious note, yes, the tickets are super cheap (we paid a little over $3 each for the matinee show), but you will pay much more for snacks. If you sign up with Cinemark emails, you can get a free small popcorn with the purchase of a large drink. The young man who served us at the concession stand was courteous and helpful, and used our coupons, no problems. The theater itself was pretty clean and it was also small, which was nice. it was easy to find seats on a weeknight during Christmas break. September 21, 2020 I went to this movie theater. As I sat and watched my Tyler perry movie, a COCKROACH ran up my right leg. I must have screamed like a white woman. I like their ticket prices, but for me? A big cockroach running up my pant leg was just too much. I will never in my life attend this theater again. Also, I went to buy some bottled water and as I approached to purchase, the clerks disappeared. I waited and waited for them to return but they never returned. I had to put my bottled water back in the cooler and just leave because no one came back out of the back office. read more

I have not been to this Cinemark in a LONG time. Reputation for this place was not a good one, especially weekend nights. Lots of stuff going on and was kind of run down. That being said, I was pretty surprised this past weekend. Looks like they did some remodeling of the theater's themselves. The seats seemed pretty new and comfortable. Hopefully it's that way in all of them and not just the main one I was in. And price wise it's a good deal. Especially during the day and if your an early bird the 1st showing of the day. Went here for our first time on Friday, last week, to watch Finding Dory. We caught the first showing of the day. It opened up late so we were waiting a bit to get our tickets. I heard from other people who were also waiting that it's not usually like that. There were two day care groups seeing the movie with us. We had a very pleasant experience, despite the theater opening late. The kids with the day care groups were very well-behaved. This will be our place to see movies. read more

Undesirable experiences. I have gone to this theater to be entertained for a small amount of money but in turn I have to tolerate babies crying in the movie, kids kicking seats and teenagers who are loud and unpleasant. The large police presence there is enough to make you think twice about your safety. If you want to pay little money and you are able to concentrate very well no matter what, then this is the theater for you. For me and my family I will need to attend movies on weekdays late at night to avoid teens or I will just go to a higher priced theater. Police are not in the individual theaters but nor should they have to be if parents took control of their children. This theater is not for mature adults looking for a pleasant experience.
