This place has me in a chokehold, in the best way possible! Being plant based is a nice bonus but honestly not the biggest draw for me. I got the Caramel Apple Pie cinnamon roll and my goodness, it is better than any other place out there. The ingredients taste fresh and they do not skimp on toppings. Here's what could make this tiny, unique shop score more stars: the atmosphere - it's boring inside, and uncomfortable. Teeny tables squeezed along the galley near the counter. Some of the tables would work better in the corner where the drink case is. Some colorful posters featuring the different treats would warm up this otherwise "sterile" shop. Next: service - the two people behind the counter didn't want to be there, apparently. No welcome, no smile, when I asked for some utensils, she just pointed to the table near the beverage case. I found forks, but no knives to cut the pastry, so we made do. A friend of mine said, they do have knives but I wasn't told that by the young girl who worked there. The woman at the counter was so friendly and helpful and just overall had a great attitude. This place is vegan, so you can eat the cookie dough raw. When I found out this spot was all vegan. I had to try it when I was in town! Such a cute set up on the inside, they have different board games you can play while sitting at the table. So many different options. I got aregular Cinnabon and I also got a banana blueberry Cinnabon as well as the banana chocolate chip bread when I tell you, everything is good, everything is good! The icing on this Cinnabon is so delicious and smooth and creamy. I would never have believed this was vegan. I hate to say it, but places like these leave me disappointed. When my mind tells me "this will be great!" My stomach is not in agreement . You have hundreds of choices so why wouldn't a crème brûlée Oreo satisfy my taste buds? The answer is that it is unfortunately too sweet. Overall the product is average but I have been here twice with my dream cinnamon bun and I might stick to something more lowkey next time. The closest thing I can think of when it comes to the bread is Italian bread at Olive Garden. It's not soft and buttery like you would get from Cinnabon or Cinnamonster in Chesterfield Town Center. Since the new ownership took over, that atmosphere is completely gone. The familiar faces who made this place special are no longer there, or their hours have changed, and the overall vibe has shifted in a disappointing way. Service now feels cold, rushed, and uninviting, and it's obvious the sense of community that once existed has disappeared. It's especially disheartening to see longtime staff replaced, seemingly to make room for the owners' friends, rather than maintaining the experienced team that helped build customer loyalty in the first place.
