We went on opening day. It was packed,as to be expected. The inside is cute, easy to read menus and a display case of their featured rolls. They were out of rolls, which was not a surprise because of the amount of people there. The lady let everyone in line know this amd they also passed out samples of their dole whip and brownies while we waited. Once the rolls came out of the oven, the line moved very quickly. I made my own roll. Honestly it was soooo sweet. But it was good. I would try it again with one of their signature creations. This is not a place I could eat at all the time. I was very excited for a sweet treat when I heard that Cinnaholic was opening up. It's a small establishment with many desserts that you can customize, ranging from flavors to toppings. Although I recognize that they just opened and are working out the kinks, I was still disappointed when my order was wrong. I ordered the cookie dough and never received it, but I was also not charged. I'll try the cookie dough another time. However, the items I did receive were excellent. I sampled the caramel apple pie cinnamon roll, baby buns, and chocolate chip banana bread. My favorite item was the caramel apple pie cinnamon roll, which was decadent and sweet. I loved the fresh apples on top. Overall, I plan on returning to try their other options, and I welcome Cinnaholic to the eastside of Tucson! read more

Going to a new restaurant on opening day is always a challenge. The cinnamon rolls were good but I took it to go so it did sit for a while in the car. The actual establishment was very clean and the works and owners were outstanding. They had a deluge of people and handled it all so calmly making sure to bring out water and coffee to those standing in line. You can order preset combinations for toppings or choose your own. It will get quite costly if you go overboard with toppings. They also have large cookies for parties. I think I will try it again once the grand opening wears off a bit and I can sit and enjoy. read more

What a fun, delicious new spot! We found it easily in the business complex and as we entered there was a long line but, the staff was so fast and friendly it was quick! The interior is super hip, clean, welcoming and the smell inside was heavenly! If you are a big fan of the whole cinnamon roll theme this place is your spot! They also have cookie dough drops that look amazing and rich but we didn't try them (yet). We ordered two old school cinnamon rolls and the minute we each took bites it was over. The icing was absolutely delicious, rich, light and flavorful and the dough was delightful, cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. We hesitated to try the other types with more toppings because at this point we wanted to try the simplest one first. Now that we know, we will definitely be back. You wouldn't know from eating these delicious cinnamon buns, but everything in this place is 100% vegan, including the cream cheese and coffee milk and cream. The long line on opening week did mean an hour wait but I'm sure that will get better in the near future. Saving grace is that you are waiting in full shade. This place runs like a Chipotle, where you can customize your frosting flavors and toppings and they prepare it right out of the oven. I tried one with the coffee frosting and it was way better than any cinnamon roll I've had at other Arizona bakeries. Gross! Just opening the box was so unappetizing. The frosting had separated from the oil and is pooling at the bottom of the box. The cookie dough in one of the rolls is slimy. Stick with Cinnabon. Welcoming establishment, delightful sugary delights but makes it plant based! Lol after looking at the menu board and what they had to offer, I decided on the traditional cinnamon roll. Unfortunately, it wasn't great.. They just plopped a dollop of cream on top and barely warmed up because there were cold parts and the cream wasn't even spread evenly. It wasn't busy, only one guest when we arrived. Others came in after us so I feel like the product should've been great. The roll itself was a bit dry and the cream had a corn like after taste. I've wanted to try this place for a while now; especially since the founder was a SR alumnus. I ordered a cinnamon roll w/almond frosting, slivered almonds, & fresh strawberries. My son got one w/banana cream, cookie dough, & caramel. My husband got a confetti scoop of cookie dough w/frosting & sprinkles. We each got a cup of coffee, & we ordered milk for my son, but they only had soy or oat milk; he took the vanilla soy. The service was ok, they asked us if we had any questions, and they were mostly polite, but they looked at me funny when I asked to add my own cream to my coffee - (again, only soy or oat milk as options). Then they gave us each a paper cup & sent us to a coffee urn w/pump. The coffee was not only BARELY warm, it was terrible. You would think a place that served cinnamon rolls would prioritize fresh, hot coffee. When I told the employee the coffee was not warm, she shrugged at me and said, "Well, that's what we have." I told her it was lukewarm, & not really drinkable. She didn't offer to make more, suggest an alternative beverage, or offer a refund. She just took my cup & dumped it out. Our cinnamon rolls were ok, but they weren't even warm, which surprised me, considering that was most of the appeal. The frosting was good, & not too sweet. The flavors were decent, but we spent $28, & it was all a bit underwhelming, to be honest. There are 2 tables indoors, & a few chairs, but the smell of baking cinnamon rolls was just not there. Cinnabon from the Pilot gas station is actually better - @ least they are warm & their coffee is drinkable! They do sell Cookie Cakes here, which is nice - since Mrs. Field's closed, nobody but the supermarkets sell them anymore. I will update this review if we try one! read more

I've been here a bunch of times now, I recommended it to a lot of my friends. The first 2 times was amazing but the rest felt like the rolls were chewy and the toppings weren't fresh (strawberries and blueberries) Also, I hate to see the workers just laughing and playing while attending people, grabbing their hair and taking while serving the rolls. Like why? I don't want you spitting saliva on my food. My friend got a nasty hair in her roll and I felt bad because I recommended it to her. Please by sanitation! Stopped in on a Friday evening. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Everyone was very friendly and happy to help! I was happy to find out that everything is vegan/plant based. We tried 3 different varieties of their gourmet cinnamon rolls. They were served warm and fresh! I ordered the very berry for myself the cookie monster for my kiddo and the tropical. My only complaint was that they accidentally gave my Mom the chocolate raspberry instead of the tropical we ordered (reason for 4 and not 5 stars) but in all honesty it was delicious so we weren't too upset and didn't want to drive back. They have a variety of other sweet treats from their original to their gourmet cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies and full on cinnamon roll cakes with a variety of their gourmet toppings! But the food states otherwise, it's great if you like overly sweet coconut flavors, but not if you are craving a "cinnamon roll". What a waste of a great name on a vegan shop, in my opinion I don't think vegan belongs in the cinnamon roll world. My boys and I were excited to try Cinnaholoic after seeing it on Shark Tank many years ago. The staff was very friendly. The seating was minimal with only two 2 tops. The table we happen to sit at was extremely wobbly. We ordered 3 rolls. They came out in a timely manner. The plastic fork and knife they provided was extremely flimsy and cutting through the cinnamon rolls (in a small container) on a wobbly table was quite frustrating. As someone who's a HUGE fan of cinnamon rolls, I was very excited when this place opened. I was finally able to visit today...and I was so disappointed. Let's start with the obvious, these rolls are overpriced and small. Patrons can get homemade, warm gooey cinnamon rolls from many mom and pop shops in Tucson for less. That was the first mistake. Secondly, the place was empty...and three employees were working. Although they were nice, they were horsing around and took them about 10 mins to put my OG roll together. Lastly, I took my cinnamon roll home and planned to have it in two hours after my dinner. When I was going to heat it up...I came to discover it was already stale. If Cinnaholic hopes to survive in a very competitive market, they need to seriously revisit their strategies. Place is very clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. My order of two rolls was ready very quickly in about 5 min!
