The mint is fresh and not too sweet, the chocolate chips have the perfect crunch, and the texture is so creamy it almost melts before you finish a bite. Solid ice cream, even if the price is somewhat steep. At first, I got scared because I thought the cup I was receiving was much smaller than what I was used to (was getting a single scoop). However, my eyes deceived me and the single scoop was actually quite plentiful. Unlike some of the other ice cream places, I was able to get my favorite flavor here: cookies n cream. And to no surprise, it was pretty damn good. This ended up being a final dessert of sorts in Estes Park, so I'm happy to have ended my food experience off with a bang. read more

The single scoop I got was a little over $5 after tax, but I got a good amount of ice cream out of it (~3 standard ice cream scoops). The coffee with espresso chips (??) was a great ice cream flavor for that strong coffee taste and crunch from the chips (might have had some toffee in there too, I forgot). I would recommend if you enjoy coffee! The seven layers coconut was also fantastic. Extremely creamy with coconut flakes in it - definitely better than your usual coconut ice cream. Had a much better experience here than the other reviewers. First of all, there are way too many ice cream and candy places in Estes Park. We went in here because it was the first place we saw that said homemade ice cream. A number of other places do as well, but there are also a couple of candy shops that serve Blue Bunny instead. Ordered rainbow sherberts for the kids and was able to score a couple of bites. The sherbert was better than average. Seemed less sweet than usual and was nice and soft. I did not taste any freezer burn. Overpriced is par for the course in Estes Park. Won't knock them for that. read more

This is easily one of the best ice-creams I've had in years! Very creamy, nice texture, and not too sweet for you to finish the whole scoop (their scoops are HUGE) We came here 2 days in a row during our visit to Rocky Mountain NP. We had cookies&cream and praline pecan the first day and we came back for vanilla bean cheesecake the other day. We liked them all!
